Strange, there are two yelp listings for this restaurant.
Visiting friends, a friend took me here based on ratings from Zomato.
The food here is good, but be advised, it's a bit westernized. Having lived in India and traversed the country bottom to top, I've experienced a lot of Indian cuisine. That being said...
The mango lassi is nice. Ripe mango and just a bit of tart in the yogurt. I personally like a little more tart, but this was still quite tasty.
The Masala chai was ok. Better than some I've had, but not strong enough. I prefer mine tej.
The paneer tikka masala was good. (This dish is usually my benchmark for rating restaurants...)
It wasn't overly sweet, like many can be. The sauce was rich and creamy, which is rather western, but some nice heat near the end. The paneer was pretty good, but a little inconsistent in texture. Some pieces were quite soft while others were firm. It tasted fresh though.
They have a tandoor! So many restaurants I've visited do not, and do not mention it up front. Naan cooked in a pan is awful, it's a disgrace to naan everywhere...
The naan was perfectly cooked. Nice and crispy with a little bit of chew and a decent amount of garlic.
The Masala dosa was also good. The dosa tasted fresh and had that oh-so-nice tang to it. The filling was a little bland but not mushy or too salty. It wasn't very spicy.
If you prefer a more western flavor, I recommend this restaurant. It is very veg friendly. The staff are from India and Nepal and are extremely friendly and helpful.
If coming for lunch on a weekend, come early. We arrived at noon and within 20-30mins, the place was packed with about 20+ people waiting for a table.
Food is 3 stars but the customer service is 5 stars.
