Same Santa's Enchanted Forest but now located in Doral. Pretty good deal if you are close by and get a seasons pass. Unlike the Youth Fair all of the rides are included with admission. Kind of strange now that it is no longer in Tropical Park, it's like they took the forest out of the enchanted forest. Easier to get in and out of, but we will see if that continues once it gets real busy.

Coming to Santa's Enchanted Forest you would expect a winter wonderland. Definitely, no winter wonderland here. The music throughout the park is rap or reggaeton. Living in Miami , I don't mind that type of music but it would be nice to have some Christmas music at the park . Since I can remember, it's been the same setup for the past years I've gone! Some of the decoration are really old and in much need of an update. Some of the Santa's are kinda creepy too (especially the one on the boat ). Entrance into the park is : Single Day Ticket - * CHILD (Ages 3-8) $26.17 * ADULT (Ages 9-64) $34.58 * SENIOR (Ages 65+) $26.17 I recommend to buy your tickets online because the lines are very long. **F.y.i Walgreens has a discount price of $7 or $8 off when you buy at the store. Bring cash at hand, most of the stands do not take cards. If you want to play the games , they are all $5. Food was too expensive Parking is free but hectic and you have to walk a lot to get to the entrance. There's are trolley stations in the parking lot for $1.25 per person round trip to the park

Santa's Enchanted Forest has lost its charm completely. Let's start with the 3 huge lines trying to merge into a parking line and all the hazardous turning lanes on one single light. It is now on top of a landfill of concrete or a quick construction dump. When you walk in, you see the old Christmas stuff for about 15 mins and then boom, it's the Youth Fair. No Christmas music, just music of today's hits. Fewer rides with 1-1.5 hour wait time and people fighting over skipping and what not. Food is super over priced so expect to spend an arm and a leg to eat. Also we witness cops roughing up a teenage girl and when I came over, they put her down then asked a female cop to talk to the girl. So much for it being a Christmas Family Magical Place !!!! Did I mention, it's just a carnival? NO CHRISTMAS MUSIC, CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS THROUGHTOUT, NOTHING CHRISTMAS!!! For the amount of money you spend, just go to Disney and I am not exaggerating. They clearly put so little into making it great and just want to make the most money before they go out of business. DO NOT GO AND SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!

This park is a stable of S Florida. I go every year and am never disappointed. I recommend going on a week day or earlier in the season that it's open because there's fewer people. Also if you go right when it opens at 5 pm it's usually empty and gets more packed around 9 pm. The shows are usually local magicians or performers that are solid and work on tips. The entrance decorations are a little run down but it's a very solid fair. I like the food stands variety from fair food to avoCado bowls and tacos and Argentinian grills. There's also a corn stand every other corner and many fried Oreos and funnel cake places. There's carnival games usually around 5$ and maybe 15-20 attractions. I went on a Tuesday and got on every ride without wait so I recommend that because it does get packed. Overall good night!

If you're from miami you know Santa's IS CHRISTMAS. Although it isn't as magical as it felt when I was a child it is still a must do each holiday season. These hard working people put a lot of effort into it. I tried to spend as much money as possible just to help out. The best part was the red velvet funnel cake. Of course a carnival must is always corn dogs and French fries; which were amazing.

Santa's Enchanted Forest is a large holiday theme park that comes every year to Miami Tropical Park, located off of SR 826 at Bird Road. It's here from October 31- January 5, and there are so many unlimited rides, free shows, games, variety of foods, and attractions to choose from. The tickets are a bit pricey, but it's worth the seven hours of fun. You start off walking down a path illuminated by Christmas lights, which is captivating. You can smell the scent of food in the air. Foods like elephant ears, burgers, french fries, popcorn, nachos, pizza, turkey legs, etc. can be found throughout Santa's Enchanted Forest. If you buy things individually, it could be costly; so make sure you travel with people who likes to share. I planned not to eat anything until I was done going on the rides...for fear of vomiting. Some rides at the park were mediocre, some were good, and some rides made my head spin. There's this roller coaster ride called WINDSTORM that had me screaming at the top of my lungs. In my opinion, it was worse than Space Mountain in Disney's Magic Kingdom. If it wasn't for the security bars, I literally felt like I was going to fall out with the rides' rapid drops and turns. There's another ride called MAGNUM that caught me off guard. Once the speed picked up, I started spinning both forwards & backwards, which freaked me out. Rides like ROCK STAR and SEA RAY had me feeling queasy with its rocking motion; and there was this ride that was supposed to be scary, but it actually sucked. They need to take some pointers from Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights. I, however found a few rides that I did enjoy. Besides being pestered by people trying to persuade me to spend money to play games and win big stuffed animals, I was barely entertained by watching a man with three Bengal tigers doing a few measly tricks. After my head stopped spinning and my stomach settled back in place, I started to enjoy myself again and took lots of pictures. Going to Santa's Enchanted Forest is a fun filled experience you can have with both friends and family.

Talk about a total shit hole! Well done on location placement of this place! No Christmas feel at all. This has to be the worst location for Santa's Enchanted Forest. It also looks like it sits on top of some sort of dump. It also trashes all your vehicles while you're there from all the dust from all the dirt that is on the ground. Also, you get to bring some sort of dirt inside your vehicle, which looks like some sort of concrete. I'm going to do my research and find out what this location is so that I can update my review. I must say Miami always finds a way to screw up some sort of holiday or some sort of event. Also, the animatronics for all the Christmas decorations do not work. The only thing that I can say works is a Christmas tree that gives off some sort of music. But guess what they're not even Christmas to get there. This just feels like a fair, not Santa's Enchanted Forest at all. I have always gone to Santa's Enchanted Forest but I will never recommend anyone to go at all. It really took the joy of me. Spending time with my family at Santa's Enchanted Forest. Be ready to spend your life savings here. The carnival people and the people operating the rise. Don't even look happy either. Matter fact, don't even speak English. And then when you speak English or somebody is like damn am I in a Third World country. I would not recommend anyone to spend even a dollar here. The new location name should be Santas enchanted garbage!

save your money!! this nothing like any other year before this. We went on a day that was raining i tried calling before hand but even at 5pm they dont pick up the phone. They didn't open until 7 due to the rain and even then... it was so bad. Don't wear shoes that you love there is mud and dirt EVERYWHERE. There is no music either, when you enter there is some christmas music but when you actually get to the rides the rides put what they want and most don't put anything. The employees are with straight faces, tired sitting on the rides until people line up. They don't treat you jolly and happy like you imagine they would. Don't expect jokes. It's also just like a mall when you enter and there's salespeople everywhere trying to rope you in to play their games. The prices don't go down from 5 to 10 dollars per try. The rides aren't exactly 100% safe either honestly it feels like a cheap youth fair i truly believe the youth fair is so much better than this. I wish i can put videos, its so silent in there all you hear is the wiring of the rides there is no ride with music but one. Theres an annoying dude with a mic asking you to throw a ball and make him splash for HOURS he was so annoying. People in the food stands are just sitting on their phones again, looking bored. These poor people are just trying to make a buck honestly i feel bad for them, hialeah is the worst place to ever place a santas.
Great park with lots to do for all ages. Definitely buy tickets online, NOT at the door. Online we paid $35 each and that was a stretch. The fact that all the rides are free with admission and also parking is free, is a good thing. The lines could get extremely long. There is no "good time" to go but it's your typical county fair plus a bunch of Christmas decorations. The express pass is not worth it neither is the season pass. read more

I had so much fun here it is a bit embarrassing to say. I am fairly new to Fort Lauderdale and a friend of mine said that she hadn't been since she was a child so suggested that we go and take her cousin. The drive was excruciating! Stop and go traffic all the way but it was worth it once we got there. I love rides and we spent much of the time there either on rides or trying to regain our composure. Besides being constantly heckled by employees at the stands trying to get us to play their carnival games, it was quite enjoyable. The evening made for many laughs and fond memories. I hope to take my siblings next year and I feel lucky to know about this gem now. read more

We've been coming to Santa's once or twice per year for the last few years and while I've never been a big fan, my kids enjoy it so I suck it up and make the best of it. I love: Their Santa ! He's really sweet and kind. Big plus! He's the reason for the 2nd star. Their lights throughout their entrance is nice to look at. The reasons why I'll never come: Bathrooms are disgusting without running water Water (this year) is ONLY able to be purchased through the vending machines that don't take cards or anything above $1 bills (they cost $3 each) MANY of their employees are rude- this year their big complaint (unsolicited as I only engaged to ask questions about where some rides were) was that they "pushed" to and earlier open and they had to miss Halloween with their families Speaking of earlier open- the big roller coaster and another ride my daughter liked wasn't there/yet open. If you're not going to have a fully functioning park, it would have been nice to know. Express passes: we don't usually go weekends because it's packed but had some family in town so we went and purchased express. Their employees barely monitored and/or could care less. At almost every ride I had to ask if we could go through and many of them made us wait until one full round of people went on the other line. Waste of money. I've hit my breaking point. To spend approx $500 for the above (7 people above 9 years old) for 3 hours and this type of service/facility has made me never want to come back again. read more

For $105 entrance for two adults and child, there are a couple things to work on to make it worth it. First, traffic control police should be placed at least a block away from entrance. There are too many rude drivers cutting in front of long lines of entering cars. Second, the ticket lines areas need to be widened and controlled for the amount of people entering. On the bright side, the family enjoyed themselves. The food options were plentiful, healthy and non-healthy alike. read more
Honestly I just went for the food, which even for that had gone downhill a little bit. We made the best of it and still had a decent time. I do highly recommend the Argentinian Steak sandwiches that are located right across the first Frozen lemonade stand when you come in. Look for a blue and white letterhead sign and that the best steak sandwich you'll ever have. As for decoration and shows your average roadside attraction nothing really out of this world. The pricing for entrance has gone up to $36 from the $20-25 it use to be. Look forward to spending over $100 for everything. read more

This place is a dirty, disgusting, over priced glorified fair. Christmas lights in the entrance do not make this an "enchanted forest". Food DISGUSTING and a rip off. Not kid-friendly, nasty dressed teenagers making out all over the place. Price higher than advertised online, website broken and still wouldn't give the military discount even with ID. Begging for tips to use the bathroom. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! CRUEL TO ANIMALS- How is it legal!?!? read more

When I was a little girl the highlight of the holiday season was going to Santa's Enchanted Forest in Miami with my family. We would ride as many rides as we could, and we would eat the best arepas de choclo with cheese ever made, and other tasty treats. I went back this year with my own family. I boasted to my children that they were going to have the best time of their lives. When we got there the lights and Christmas displays were outstanding better than I remember. After that it all went down hill. We got the "best arepas de choclo with cheese" and they didn't taste the same. It had a lot more grease than I remember. I figured my taste buds must have changed since I got older, and maybe that was the reason I didn't like them anymore, but then again neither did my kids and my kids love arepas. The rides were OK but the lines were too long. It cost $37 To get in the park plus you had to pay another $20 for an express pass. After being there for a couple of hours one tends to use the restroom. After 34 years and charging what they charge to get in plus what they charge on the express passes you would figure they would install permanent restrooms with stalls and running water. But of course one had to use portapotties, and of course the lines to the portapotties were longer than the lines for the rides especially for the women's "restrooms" because the women usually had at least one child with them. Before heading out of the park we decided to have one more indulgence. We bought from a stand that was selling carne llanera and carne asada it had a Colombian and Venezuelan flag flying over it. We all ate from there, and then we went home. By the time we left the park it was midnight. When we all got home we all went to bed, however I woke up earlier than the rest because I started vomiting. The rest of my family quickly followed. My whole family has been sick with a "stomach virus" including fever and "more" for 3 straight days. This was not the experience I had when I was a child, and it was not the experience I wanted for my own children. I will never go back again. read more

I've been to Santa's Enchanted Forest which by transitive property means I've been to Nicaragua. In all fairness, I haven't been there in a few years because my socioeconomic status has vastly improved since then, but something tells me the demographics haven't changed all that much. Santa's is like an above-ground pool in the ghetto. It goes maybe 3 feet deep, there's no chlorine in it so there's mosquitoes and shit laying eggs all over the stagnant water, and you've got the O.G. in there day and night with a cigar in his mouth hollering at all the hood rats that walk by. Plus it's way over capacity and too many little kids are fucking everything up. The greatest thing about it is the snacks. I love me some elephant ears. Some people think it's just a funnel cake without the funneling action so you can get that in a lot of places, and while they may be right in theory, they're missing the key ingredients added in Santa's. You can't make tasty elephant ears without reusing the same oil you've been using since your traveling carnival started decades ago, and infusing it with the essence of carnies lacking ambition gives it the sweet diabetic kick start I enjoy. The attire for this place is typically what you would expect for a winter-themed recreational park; t-shirts, shorts, sometimes skorts worn by trendy 8-year-olds, that sort of thing. The last time I saw a sweater being worn in this park Clinton was president, and it was around someone's waist. Since I haven't been there lately I don't know if this is still protocol, but you used to be able to get in free by taking like 10 empty bags of Holsum bread. Or Pepsi cans. That was good stuff. Now I'm sure they charge you like $40 to walk through a house of mirrors where the mirrors are so fucking dirty you never get confused as to how to make your way out of it. Oh, and that jingle they play over the radio all the time? "Santaaaaaa's Enchanted Foreeeeeest" and then some hype girl gives the address only to repeat the chorus. The only way it could get worse is if they let T-Pain auto-tune it. The rides are typical carnival fare. About half as enjoyable as the Youth Fair rides, about half as safe. Oversight would be nice. Trusting a dude with missing teeth to verify the structural integrity of a metal rotating machine designed by Belgians in 1972 isn't at the top of my to-do list. I find it strange that nowadays parents won't let their kids play outside in a safe neighborhood unsupervised but they let them board a redneck death box with Cletus duct taping a safety panel. But, I mean, if you really like carnivals... PEOPLE WHO WOULD ENJOY IT: Nicaraguans. PEOPLE WHO WOULD NOY ENJOY IT: Non-Nicaraguans. read more

Horrible experience! The workers were homeless people off the street who were nodding off to drugs, like someone else stated. Scary considering young children were going on rides and nobody was even ensuring they were harnessed on. The people at the front were rude and completely inefficient. Let me start by saying Christmas is my favorite time of year and I had very high expectations. I went mainly for the food, which I heard was like fair food, only better. I was disappointed in the quality and selection of food around because most of the booths were repeated over and over throughout the park. The lines for the rides were very long and the Christmas light displays were slim. Overall, I was let down. Also, look forward to spending around $100 for a couple, the prices are fairly high. read more

Sure, this place was great when I was 6 years old. It seemed so humongous and filled with excitement back then. I revisited a couple of years ago, courtesy of my job (thank GOD i got in for free...I can think of a million and one better ways to spend that much money), and boy was I disappointed. To my amazement, the ornaments, puppets, and displays are exactly the same ones I remember from when I was 6...and who knows how long they were there before that. Frankly, they look like they're from 1947. As far as feeling safe in the rides, ummm... yea. Let me just say two things about that: 1) I almost fell out of the Himalaya ride when I was 12, and 2) I went in high school with some friends and remember walking by the Ring of Fire when the power suddenly went out (and the Ring of Fire got stuck upside down). Sure, there IS your fair share (no pun intended) of food...From elephant ears and corn on the cob to fried pickles and frozen lemonade. But, it's not like you can't get that at another carnival. The only good thing I have to say about Santa's Enchanted Forest is that the lights really are beautiful. But you don't need to pay the exorbitant price to experience those. Just look out your car window as you're driving on the 826. That should do. read more

In fact, I did not have many expectations. When we arrived he saw places of food everywhere and maybe it is not what anyone expects, but later you can see places with different Christmas atmospheres such as, Santa Hawaiian, mangers, cookie factory and many Christmas miniature representations. Then you can find attractions like roller coasters, chicago ferries and many other attractions, there are also shows like the smallest woman in the world, snake woman, fatal motorcycles and many places to win awards with marksmanship and all that. In conclusion, a liked this place. It's not a place for everyone, for example older people or very young children can not get on the attractions but for the rest it's a fun place with a variety of things to do. read more

Eh....the only way I would be coming back would be if they had a half off special. Entry fee was $25 a person. My little 3 person family....well, you do the math! It was a decently cute Christmas themed park. There was decent selection of rides for people of all levels of "motion tolerance." The highlight of my night was the mouse trap roller coaster. That was pretty wild and had my whole family laughing hysterically! What I absolutely could not stand were the carnies that harassed us every time we walked within 20 feet of their booth. One of them actually forcibly put a dart in my husband's hand after he already insisted he did not want to play their game. It was definitely worth the experience, but more of a "once in a lifetime" type of thing. read more

Took my family here last night- I've been wanting to go for years and always missed it. We spent $280 for the 4 of our tickets, and then fast passes. Parked and paid $20 to get a ride to the park. This has got to be one of the most scariest amusement parks I've been to. The ride attendants were nodding out on drugs. Multiple attendants at multiple rides not even knowing to start the ride and not realizing when the rides were ending so they could release harnesses or anything. We decided to leave, definitely did not feel safe having attendants drooling on themselves and practically unconscious operating a ride with my children in it. Never again. read more
I have made it a tradition to bring my daughter here each year. She's 13 now and still enjoys it. It's a highlight on its own letting her know that we are going and we always have a good time. It seems that the admission prices go up each year so we only go once per season. All the rides are included in the admission price. read more

I used to go to this place as a teenager and that was a lot of fun. I returned this weekend for the first time in almost two decades. My ten year old asked to go and I obliged. He had a great time, but my opinion is that it is very run down. Everything just looks old. read more

Ok, so the price tag to get into Santa's Enchanted Forest has held steady at a whopping 25$ for the past couple of years. Thankfully though, I think this has allowed them to keep a large staff cleaning up, update some of the displays and keep the food prices to a reasonable level. So we shell out our dough and make our way into the Christmas wonderland we all grew up looking forward to. Seeing the updated scenery was nice, and noticing just how many staffers were walking around sweeping up trash was reassuring too. Now, the purpose of our trip was to eat, and eat we did! First some pinchos, then an arepa, some vanilla soft serve, a gyro, 2 slices of pizza, a bag of cotton candy, 3 ears of roasted corn, lemonade, a couple of sodas and a bucket of donuts. Mission Accomplished! Needless to say we are all calling the Pepto hot line later, but good times were had! read more

SKIP. hell no we are not paying $40 dollars for ticket. I prefer Disney or something else that kids would enjoy. I hav me been going to Santas Enchanted Forest Since 1996. Tickets all inclusive were like $25 or $29 dollars. Kids use to be $15-20. Who the hell decided to make the prices $35 dollars. Parking has always been Free and all rides included. Only The FAIR are the ones with rides per ticket. NOTHING HAS CHANGED. NO RIDES ADDED for the price hike. Im sorry. Not going to this one and never will for $40 dollars a carnival style park... read more

Santa's Enchanted Forest is practically synonymous with Miami and after living in Miami for the majority of my life, I had never visited -huge shock, I know! So of course, I had to cross it off my bucket list. Over the years, I heard plenty of stories, both good and bad, so my expectations weren't too high. The experience overall was fun but I learned plenty of future lessons...so here they are. 1. Come during the earlier dates. Santa's opens for business beginning in Early November and is usually less busy then. Against my better judgement, I came the week before Christmas on a WEEKEND, at 7:30 p.m. WORST TIME! Which leads me to my second tip. 2. Choose the right time. As one of Miami's main attractions during the holiday season, it's rightfully always filled with long lines. However to avoid those lines as best as possible, coming on a weekday would be best. If you can only visit during the weekend, come right at opening time - 5 p.m. 3. Come with patience. Remember when I mentioned I visited at 7:30 p.m. Well, it was more like I was in the general area at 7:30. With all the traffic, I actually entered the park around 9 p.m. The lines were definitely long. On average I waited about an hour for each ride. For reference, we visited 4 rides after leaving at 12:30. 4. Bring plenty of cash. Single day passes for two people costs about $72 with tax. Which is already pretty expensive. If you add the express passes (which I don't recommend) for each person, that'll be around $115 total. Keep in mind, admission only covers the rides and parking. Food and carnival games are extra. 5. Expect a younger crowd. Although fun, most of those who visit are families or teens. The lines get long so you end up surrounded by obnoxious talking and lots of petty arguments over skipping. Be prepared. 6. Turn right first! So over the years, Santa's had to expand it's fair grounds due to the amount of people visiting. Instead of following the narrow path down to the Ferris Wheel, make that right turn after passing the center Christmas Tree and you'll find the newer rides and the shorter lines. Overall if you haven't visited, I do recommend coming at least once. But I find it to be a little over-hyped, so have low expectations and good sense of humor. read more

I thought this was going to be a display of lights that I would be able to walk through and marvel at, similar to Moody Gardens or Santa's Wonderland; instead I was faced with an overpriced, cheesy, dirty carnival. I will say there were lights on every tree surrounding the carnival. but it was definitely not an "enchanted forest." first of all it was $30 to get in, which didn't include food or carnival games. it was so congested that we could barely get anywhere, which was miserable. and the lines for the few rides they had were so long that it ruined any chance of fun. basically, I paid a lot of money to walk around wondering why I had bothered to come read more

I have been going to Santa's exchanged forest for over 30 yrs now. I left south Florida over 5 yrs ago and moved to Texas. I visited south Florida around the Christmas holiday time in 2014 & now in 2017. My family and I always go if we are there around the holiday time.. Well I was so shocked about the prices.!! It is now 35$ for an adult ( an a adult is anyone 9 years old and over... really .. wow.) and 25-28$ for a child ( didn't. Remember the exact price) I was shocked because the prices were to much.. they price is becoming like Disney world or magic kingdom.. The rides or the park is not worth that price.. one roast corn is now 5$. They had a big lemonade mug that's was 20$ and to refill it was 10$.. it's getting ridiculously over priced . Make sure you have that money ready to blow. read more

So I have been begging my mother to take me here since we moved down to Florida. And her response......"Hell no! Why would you want to go there?! How old do you think you are?!" etc etc. Well she finally gave in since she was so tired of my complaining :) We went last night. We figured, it is a week before Christmas and a Sunday. Seemed like the perfect opportunity and it was! We arrived promptly at 5. It wasnt dark yet so we didnt get to see all the lights but we knew we would soon enough! Walking in, you really are in a Chrismas Wonderland! There are little set ups of Chrismas scenes like the Grinch, Scrooge, elves, the reindeer etc. I have to say, they had some live goat looking things that were supposed to be the reindeer.....come on. I think they could have done better than that! lol So we keep walking in and their is your typical face painting, temporary tattoos, tons of unhealthy but oh so yummy foods.... We decide to do all the rides before we ate anything. SMART IDEA! We went on almost everything except for a few I couldnt handle! Mom went by her lonesome! haha The rides are a bit old, but they wouldnt use them if they werent safe....The attendants checked everything 100% before each started. We didnt have to wait in any lines since we went so early which was perfect....I hate waiting on anything. A few things you had to pay extra for like the bull riding, the balloon water ride, the bunjee jump thing....none of those actually interested me so whatev. All the games were obviously extra money but we didnt do any of those either. The food was reasonably priced and soooo good! This is going to sound gross but we ate a funnel cake, a turkey leg, a BBQ sandwich, a tamale, an arepa, a candy apple.....and I think that is it haha! Come on, it was Santa's Enchanted Forest. We had to indulge. I got an old time picture taken...SO MUCH FUN! and reasonably priced! There was also this stand for crystallized roses which were goregous!!! I wish I could have gotten one! but they took 2 hours to make and we saw them on our way out! As we finished up all the lights had come on and it was truly a wonderland. The lights were unreal! all the setups were lit up and soooo pretty! I took a ton of pictures. The park was pretty big and had plenty to do. For the $24 admission....it was pretty worth it. I didnt go into expecting too much so I was pleasently surprised! We found a $2 off coupon online and they had $5 off coupons at McDonalds.... I will be back next year! It really put me in the Christmas spirit in this 65 degree sunny weather without snow! read more
I truly dislike this place! I had vowed to never return and low and behold my hubby and I thought it would be a good idea to try one more time for a child before the factory closes almost 10 years later and the last of the Mohicans wanted to go . So we promised the little one that we would take her. It's like how I remembered 10 years ago, yucky! The food was disgusting as always, the little one was creeped out by almost everything lol. The only good thing they had that wasn't there 10 years ago is that daiquiri place. Other than that you can ride in a nearby neighborhood to see lights and wait for the fair for rides and food. To pay so much and for it to not have many things is sad. I'm glad there was a hook up because there's no way I'll pay that much for this place. read more

Just took my 11 month old girl here last week. She LOVED IT! The lights, the people, the merry-go-round, the funny foods that Mommy let her try, all of it. Remember, this is the Dade County Youth Fair with Christmas lights, not a real amusement park. I don't think they try to sell themselves as anything but. And it is great for what it is. read more
I am a Christmas fanatic. A real holiday devotee ... Elf is my favorite movie of all time, if that tells you anything. So, of course, I thought I would LOVE Santa's Enchanted Forest. I saw the lights from the highway, and was bouncing in my seat like a 5 year old every time we passed. The reality wasn't quite so magical. $23 to get in ... ok, I guess that's not so expensive ... except almost everything inside costs extra. You enter to a plethora of Christmas lights (which I LOVED), and random Christmas displays, some of which are rather odd. Assortments of different toys, mechanical Santas and other stuff made up the different windows. Everything from Santa and aliens to a creepy wizard Santa holding a masquerade mask. Weird. Every 10 feet someone is selling something, whether it's light up wands and Santa hats or pics with Santa and grilled corn. Keep moving, the Christmas theme stops altogether, and it becomes your average carnival. Eh, ok I guess, but I'm not really into the roll-away rides ... can they really be safe? Doubtful. Then, all the cool stuff you had to pay extra for. World's smallest horse? $1 apiece, and not so small. $2 apiece for other oddities. The fair food I really enjoyed ... funnel cake and a candy apple - made my night. Watched a steel cage thrill show, kinda cool, even though most of it was in Spanish. We wandered around, but didn't fall prey to the ripoff carnival games ... one of the guys even said to my BF "Well, you won a prize for that girl last night, what about this girl?" What nerve. That dude must be getting some guys into serious hot water...not the smartest way to sell lameo games. Anyway, I was a little disappointed. I expected more Christmas, less money-hungry carnival. Surprised this place makes the top ten Christmas attractions in the US. Really? But, at least there were pretty lights, and delicious fair food. We had fun. :) read more

Not worth the money. Don't even bother to pay the fast pass. We were at the yellow sub and the gate keeper let everyone in on the regular row, didn't let us (with the fast pass) in, even though there were 2 rows empty (each row fits 5 kids). My group was of 6 kids. Just do the math. Here is a pic of the guy. And as a bonus here is the pic of the whatever they use to cook the gyros read more

The rides are very entertaining and exciting the food there is amazing it's kinda expensive but is really worth it if you want to have fun with the kids there's a lot of kid rides and adult rides I didn't get to ride on all of them but most of them were fun want to come back and ride all the ones I didn't but it was a fun experience read more
It might not be the winter wonderland from my childhood but it is still fun. It is a Christmas themed carnival, they don't try to hide that. The rides are what you will find at the youth fair. Will they get your adrenaline pumping? No. But, they will give you a nice little thrill in your stomach. The food is the normal carnival fare, lots of fried stuff, some gyro and a few other things. The main reason I had fun this time was my niece. Seeing the excitement in Joey reminded me what it was like when I was little here. If you have some kid that you care about with you, you will have fun too, really it is the only way an adult will truly enjoy themselves here. read more

Great corn on the cob & meat leg. Rides are good too. Decorations kinda suck though, they have been using the same decor for over 10 years and it shows. read more

I really enjoyed this place. Being from the north east, Christmas means lights, houses that do light shows yearly and most importantly... Snow. This year was tough to not being able to see that. It was roughly $30/person to get in and be able to ride pretty much everything, things like rock climbing *i think* is more money, but you pretty much know these thing when your a carnival vet, includes you to see shows and go through mazes *love house of mirrors*.Since we won't be going to a winter wonderland back up north, we decided to go all out and get express pass so we don't have to wait in line too long and boy it was worth it! I laughed a lot, had a romantic moment with my love on the Ferris wheel. Now, to call this an amusement park is too much, it's a carnival. Questionable safety of rides you think, but your sure you won't die when you see how fun it all looks. I felt safe seeing all the employees checking before the ride started. Florida people are spoiled by year round theme parks and complain about this? Yea, go to Boston in early February with your North Face coat to a carnival where it cost you way more when you have to pay for EVERY ride and you get way less options...you will come back running here. I can't control who enters so I can't make it the fault of the carnival about the kids running around carelessly about who is around them, but they are kids. It would be weird to see super behaved kids. Lets be reasonable people when rating this place. Thought it was funny seeing 14 year olds acting like they are married. Yes I'm judging their parents. :P The soft serve ice cream, chocolate, brought back memories of summer time in Salem, MA The huge tree filled my heart with joy because it reminded me of when we went to this one house every year to see the light show. I was really surprised how big this carnival was. Food was good but gave me a tummy ache, but fried food always does that to me. If you have truly been to a carnival, you would know that everyone at the darts game and other games tries to get us to play, simply ignore or say no thank you, then done, left alone. Get that stick outta your ass sweetie. In all its awesome for a date, family, and friends. I recommend it, if you spent the money, make the most of it. No one likes a negative Nancy. -1 star only because.... I just don't want to over sell it. read more

Every year we always look forward to go to this place and it's definitely our Christmas mood starter, we decided to take my 2.5 Yr old daughter this year,(last year it was too cold and she was too little) and sure enough she had a blast, the only little problem was that we went on a Saturday evening and the place was packed! I recommend if possible to go on weekdays so you can enjoy more comfortably. The parking lot was very full and far away from the entrance but thankfully they have free train rides, you have to pay attention where do you park your car, since the parking lot is not marked. If you can buy your tickets in advanced online or at Walgreens or CVS you will save yourself from making a Big line even though the lines roll thru fairly fast. We all know the place is a bit pricy $29 plus tax, and we didn't pay for my baby since she still 2.5 (she rode in a stroller, she walked a lot but eventually got tired). Some of the decorations would definitely take an upgrade but overall the place is magical with all the lights, games, rides and FOOD ! I had to have a completa (congri (rice and beans), maduros and masitas de puerco (pork chuncks) We were starving!!! the food was good, we also had Arepas (venezolanas) with cheese, they were OK...nothing to go crazy about. We walked all the way to the end...played some games (I won a Big Stuff Banana, shooting hoops) still got it! and took lot of good pics. The place was very clean and will definitely go back next year. read more

Kitchy carnival style theme park. I'm not a Miami native, but you can tell this place would be amazing to children and probably very nostalgic for adults who grew up coming here. You pay a flat fee to enter and then can ride all the rides you're willing to wait in line for. Its standard carnival style rides, a little rough on the neck and back, but you know that before getting on. They also have super cheesy side show attractions like a "real" mermaid - who happened to be on her cell phone when we walked in, that was hilarious. World's smallest horse. World's smallest woman, etc. etc. Its tacky, its cheap, its fun... Just go to experience it, no one living in Miami should miss it. read more

Really good time for the whole family! Rides are all included once you pay the (high) admission price, but we offset that by going all out- buy the season pass, and go 10 times- it cost us $185 for all 4 of us, we went for $18.50 each visit! Its a pain because of typical West Dade population being there, kids butt in line, and that sort of thing, but nothing too violent. We went for the last time last night, so thought I'd write it up, was worth the money, but one visit would have cost us $105, and thats a rip off. One word of advice- EAT BEFORE YOU GO! :) read more

My friends and I had a great time and we're all over 25. The rides were so much fun and the lines actually weren't bad. We went on 7 rides in 3 1/2 hours and were able to enjoy the petting zoo as well. There were various food trucks and stands including pizza, Greek food, fried carnival food, and places just for desserts. The event space was clean, safe, pretty, and we had a great time. read more
I've lived in Miami for many, many years and I had never been to Santa's Enchanted Forest until this Christmas. There were 5 adults and 6 kids. We went during the week so it wasn't too crowded. There were some lines for the rides but the wait was bearable. We ate the usual fair food such as cotton candy, elephant ears, fries, steak sandwich, steak pinchos, arepa & hot dogs. Once in while, it's nice to indulge in junk. I wasn't disappointed. Admission includes unlimited rides for most things. Bunjee jumping is $5. We had a great time! I'm definitely going back next Christmas! read more

We went on a Sunday night and it was empty. This is the perfect time to go. We were able to zip around the whole place and go on every ride with no wait. I grew up driving by here and begging my parents to take me. I finally went as an adult with my own kids and it was fun. It was kind of expensive, but worth it if you like carnival rides and greasy, fried carnival food. Fried Oreos, people!!! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS!!! We won not one, but two games in a row and the employees told us they needed to change the rules and we couldn't take home our prizes!! They are told to not let people win at any cost. We followed the rules and the manager said there's nothing we could do and it was our word against his. I am disgusted and will be going to the news with what happened as well. We were straight scammed! Save your money!!! read more

Are the express passes worth it?
If you're going on weekends, I suggest you buy express pass, but if you're coming on weekdays, It's not really necessary. We bought the unli pass tickets and experienced coming to the park on weekdays and weekend and I must say, weekend is really…

I have mixed feelings about my experience being there. My personal opinion: this place is definitely amazing, but simply not for me. The reason I didn't like it: 1. Very crowded. 2. Difficult parking. 3. Long waiting lines to get in. 4. Tickets are $37 per person. 5. Everything is inside $5 and up. 6. Very loud. 7. It doesn't look clean at all. It's actually very dirty. 8. The smell of burning food is everywhere. 9. People who works there are trying to talk to you. 10. Too much walking around. The reasons you might like it: 1. If you like crowded places. 2. If you are lucky or handicap, you can park in front 3. If you have passion to wait in line to get in. 4. If you don't really care paying $37 to get in. 5. If you don't care spending a lot on entertainment. 6. If you like loud music. 7. If you don't care about cleanliness. 8. If you like different types of fast food. 9. If you like attention and socializing with strangers 10. If you like being on your feet and walk a lot. 11. If you have kids. 12. If you really like Christmas (who doesn't?? :)) 13. If you like amusement rides. 14. If you like taking cool pictures and selfies. 15. If you have some passion for gambling. 16. If you came there with lots of friends. 17. If you like Christmas lights and decorations. 18. If you are young and full of energy. As you can see pros are much more than cons. I personally would not go again, but that's just my feeling. I think this place as a business model definitely deserves 5 stars rating. Very creative, very popular, and somehow unique. read more

On 12/28 the park stated that each pony works a maximum of 2 hours per night. I knew this was not true, so I visited the park last night (1/1/17) and documented with photos and videos the same 8 ponies working from 5pm-10pm on with NO BREAK. Just after 10pm I notified park director Buddy Cormican that the horses had worked far beyond their 2 hours per night. He visited the pony rides within a few moments and spoke to the two men operating it. He then left and the pony rides CONTINUED until MIDNIGHT, meaning horses worked their full 6-7 hours straight as usual.

Do NOT go to this place. They are forcing horses to give rides for 7-9 hours at a time, in circles chained by their face, with NO break for resting, food or water. They will blatantly tell you otherwise. However, investigators were there filming them. The owner was called, he came out & spoke with the horse people. The horses were STILL there till 11pm giving rides. They also are subjected to loud music while being forced to give rides. This shouldn't happen. This park needs to STOP having people there with horses. They aren't needed to make everything else be festive. It is NOT a horses job to have to entertain a bunch of kids for 8 hrs with no breaks. It's cruel, & it needs to stop. Please don't go until this practice is stopped! ! read more

The misery and sadness coming from the ponies is a stark contrast to what is supposed to be a joyful place. These ponies are completely used as objects for over 8 hour shifts without breaks. They are chained to poles and simply used. In order to have an enchanted atmosphere, one needs to care about the animals that are providing fun for the humans. It is time to care about the animals that you are mistreating and treat them humanely. The ponies worked without break for over 8 hours and are basically enslaved. How can anyone ignore this? I am so heartbroken by this experience and the lack of integrity. Owners of Santa's Enchanted Forest, it is time to have some conscience about these big hearted.ponies. read more

Let me start by saying that I do like Santa's Enchanted Forest. I enjoy driving down the Palmetto and seeing the lights in the trees. It almost makes you feel like there's an actual Christmas in Miami. BUT...it is crazy expensive. I cannot possibly imagine how much it must cost a family of four to come here. Admission is like $30/person, which is ok, considering that you get unlimited rides, but the food is really pricey (and it's just regular "Fair Food") and heaven forbid you want to play any of the games. If you can get discounted tickets and just want to walk around and go on some carnival rides, great. But don't come on an empty stomach! =) read more

Disclaimer: I have not gone here. I have seen evidence of animal abuse here and will not go. Please don't patronize this business until the owners change the conditions for the animals. The ponies are abused. Chained and made to work 6-7 hours a day. You don't want to expose your children to this cruelty or teach them that it's alright to treat any living creature this way. Make your voice heard by contacting the owners of this establishment. I will not go here and will advise all I know to not go until healthy and respectful living and working conditions are met for the animals. read more

If you have kids or visitors from out of town you must go there. Santas's enchanted forest is a huge beautiful decorated amusement park in south west Miami. All the lights are fascinating! You feel like in wonderland! The rides they offer there are from young kids up to any age. For everyone's taste will be something there. And what would be the best fair without greasy, terrible fast food for a little overpriced. But you have to had one. BLATANT ANIMAL ABUSE. Why do they have animals at Santa's enchanted forest? Unfortunately they have a tiger show, sea lion show and a monkey who was spotted picking up garbage from the ground. They have a team of ponies bound to a metal spinning apparatus and forced to walk in circles for hours on end to create a live carousel. These animals do not belong at a carnival, traveling long distances from shows or being displayed to the public and this type of "entertainment" should not be supported. read more

Is that why God put animals on this earth for our entertainment ? NO !!!!! It makes me sick. Santa's Enchanted Forest please take care of your animals. This was crookville. There are lights the first half of the park, the second half was nothing but crooks who want to rob your money. We had an unpleasant experience with a man who had blonde, slicked back geled hair who kept saying it was on the house, and ended up costing us $30. It was irritating, dirty, and attracted the low class people. Would never go back again.
