First time at this cable Park. Super chill staff and Melanie was very nice day. They have two cables and allow you to bounce from one to the other as you feel. Pro shop had a lot of gear. Fair price for two hours of ride time. The features were slick and the water was wet.

Great location and very friendly staff. The manager saw that I had 2 little kids and he gave me 2 child life vests so they could walk around the ramp safely. The guys on the ropes give good advice and are patient. The place is super clean and has plenty of seating. I really think this place should be booming if it isn't already. The only thing I would change is the price of the drinks and snacks. $4 for an ice cream u can get for less than a $1 is a bit much. Everything is marked up. They should have a permanent restaurant or food counter to get something to eat without leaving.

I came with my two kids (3 and 6), my parents, my brother and his family (1 and 6) and my high school friends and their kids (9 and 12) and EVERYONE had a blast! The key was to get there early so you could enjoy all the attractions without the lines that form as the day goes on. We found loungers right away, grabbed tubes and hit the lazy river, and after a few relaxing laps, we headed for the splash pad. My 3 year old didn't leave there for the rest of the day. He was completely enthralled with all of the splash features, water slides, and fun that surrounded him. The water was just deep enough that he could float around on his stomach but not deep enough to ever be too worried. The older kids and myself hit the big slides, which were a blast. For a small waterpark, these were solid. The design kept you on your toes and they picked up enough speed to give you a little rush. They have an onsite cafe but they also allow you to bring in your own cooler, which is amazing! We packed a picnic and had a great lunch as a group. The one pro-tip I have is to book a FUNBRELLA! We thought about it too late, but these shaded pavilions are perfect for groups and reasonably priced so you don't even need a special occasion to get one. Sure I remembered it being much bigger, but Paradise Cove delivered!

The water slides were so much fun, and overall the first day was honestly perfect for my family. The second day, though, was a little stressful because the park was extremely crowded. There were so many people that there was barely any space to sit, and some families were even sitting on the floor. My mom finally found an open area and asked an employee if a few chairs could be moved over so we could sit together. At first, the employee kept saying they couldn't do it, even though it seemed like a simple fix, and it became frustrating after going back and forth for a while. Eventually, the manager Jeff came over and said, "Lady, can you be nice? I'm just trying to resolve the issue so everyone can have a good day." My mom was annoyed at the situation, but in the end we did get the four chairs and everything worked out. Even with the stressful moment, we still enjoyed a lot of parts of the park because the rides, food, and overall atmosphere were really fun. Also, one thing I wanted to mention is that they check your bags every single day, even if they already know you've been there before. It became kind of annoying because they would go through everything in the bags, take items out, and leave everything messy and unorganized afterward. Other than that, we still had a pretty good experience overall.

Before coming we called to ensure that they would be open because we knew that lately towards the afternoon there have been some rainstorms. When we spoke to the person on the phone they informed us that yes they were open & that they would be open until 5:30PM. We arrived a little bit after 3:30pm. When they were taking our money they never mentioned hey it might rain soon maybe you should come another day because we DON'T issue RAIN CHECKS HERE like any kind hearted person would say. Instead they took our money we went inside & 5 minutes later we had to leave because there was a storm coming. I spoke to their Lazy, Rude & Uninterested manager. He informed me that they don't offer rain checks and that you come in at your own risk. The best part of all was that this son of a bitch was right behind us when we were paying and never mentioned a thing. NOT ONLY DID THESE PEOPLE RUIN OUR 4TH OF JULY. But they are inconsiderate, lazy & have no decency at ALL! (GO AT YOUR OWN RISK & GOOD LUCK GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK)

It can feel misleading or confusing for visitors. Public pool? Technically, it is a public facility, but in practice it does not always feel that way. For residents, the fee is $10 per adult and $5 per child, while for non-residents it is $20 per adult and $10 per child. This is already on the higher end of what is traditionally expected from a municipal pool. In addition, the city website is not always updated with the most current pricing. Olympic pool? Yes, in terms of structure and size, but it does not include a diving area, so it is limited in that sense. Heated water? That statement can be misleading depending on the season, as the water is not consistently heated year-round. We are in April, and the water feels extremely cold, almost like "ice water." I have been coming here for several years, and this is the first time we have felt that some younger staff members are interacting with children in a more strict or tense manner; this was not the case before. There are also private hotel pools and small water parks that charge around $15-$20, and many times they feel more relaxed and accessible. This raises a valid question about value and accessibility in comparison. It also gives the impression that there is a gradual shift toward prioritizing residents (despite significant price increases for them as well) or increasing overall costs, which raises concerns about long-term accessibility for non-residents. At the same time, these facilities are publicly funded through taxpayer money, including contributions from Miami-Dade County, and entry fees are intended to help cover operational and maintenance costs. Overall, this is a matter of balance: public infrastructure is supported by taxpayers, but users also expect fair pricing, transparency, and a clear value in return. I hope these facilities do not evolve into spaces that feel similar to private venues, as that could create an unfair competitive disadvantage for private businesses in the same category.

If you are a resident, the cost is just $5, but know that it is CASH ONLY unless you spend more than $10. They also have a lot of cheap community swim classes, including aqua aerobics, and times for just swim lane/swim laps. There are plenty of lawn chairs, even on the weekend, and the staff are helpful. Pool feels clean, the area is similarly clean. I did NOT go into the bathroom so cannot comment on those facilities. Plenty of free parking on the premise, and during the busier season (summer, I believe?) it looked like there were concessions and the slide would be open. All in all, I have spent several pleasant afternoons here when I did not have to work or got out early.

Secondly, amazing is how big it feels despite its size and location (granted, I visited at night for a special event, so your mileage may vary) - though I admit, the exhibits seem too small for some of their fauna inhabitants. Third and finally, visiting it for said special event, Luminosa, was ABSOLUTELY wondrous. Made the visit absolutely worth it (even if my bus almost missed the stop). Plus, the staff is so kind and accommodating. We as a society need to invest and support spaces and places like this that not only offer incredible experiences, but also give back to all its visitors and urban spaces they inhabit - even if they're on a small, missable island (jajaja).
