I finally got around to trying this place when a burrito urge hit, and am glad I did. I had a ground beef burrito with cooked veggies, sour cream, guacamole, spanish rice and cheese. The people working at Santa Fe Burrito Grill were friendly and helpful. The dining room was clean and attractive. But the food was bland, really bland. I got carnitas tacos with Spanish rice, black beans, cheese, pico, crema, and their hottest salsa and it had almost no taste. I tried the carnitas on their own and the meat was dry and bland. The rice and beans on their own were salty and lacked flavor otherwise. It was disappointing because I could see it as the type of place I'd get a casual meal from time to time, but I doubt I'll be back. read more

This place is good!! They offer quick serve mexican burritos, bowls and tacos. Ive been a few times now and the grilled chicken burrito bowl is usually what I get. All the ingredients taste fresh. The chicken has a good flavor and has always been fresh and tender. They offer the standard spread of burrito topping options. The pico is pretty good but its not my favorite - it has less acid/lime in it than compared to Chipotle. Theyre a little stingy on the guac too but damn near every place is so its pretty much status quo. I also like the crunchy tacos which I usually get gringo style with ground beef. Hot salsa is a must on those. The portion/price ratio is good and online ordering is easy. The staff are super friendly and the location is convenient - right off the deuce! Yippee! This place was amazing! Fast, friendly service, very reasonable prices, and most importantly the tacos I got were bomb! The shell was perfectly crispy and delicious, and I tried 3 diff fillings... All yummy. The "spicy" sauce they gave me tasted very good, but it wasn't that spicy. Next time I go (which will hopefully be soon), I'll ask for the "not-for-gringos spicy" (Additional kudos for the paper fiber container. Looked quite compostable... Talk about authentic, I went in there, and thought I might need a passport. Mexico City has now come to Acton. This food is just as good as what I had in playa del Carmen when my wife went away to Mexico several years ago. . I had the Barbacoa burrito and all I can say is yum.This was just moist enough, but not so moist that I needed a bib or a cloth over my lap.It was absolutely delicious. Do not go there if you want a little snack. I could not finish my burrito. But that's OK, cause. I have breakfast tomorrow now. By far the best "Mexican" spot in the town of Acton, by a mile. I appreciate that the staff is very attentive, will speak to my wife and I in Spanish, and the operating hours are very convenient, since they're open later than most spots in town. The online ordering needs to be fixed. I ordered a veggie burrito, there was a picture of it and description of all of the veggies it included. Yeah, I want that so I added to my cart. Then there are option to choose which rice, which beans, "extra" vegetables, quac. I did not want "extra" vegetables, since the picture shows many vegetables already are in the burrito but I did want quacamole. When my order arrived, there weren't any vegetables in the burrito. All it had was the rice, beans and quac I selected. Disappointing to say the least read more
