But when she drove the car home, there was outrageous and unsafe steering problems. Yes, it's a very old Camry with a lot of miles, and she had already decided this would be her final big investment prior to buying her next car. She's 25 now, and got it used while in college. When we brought it back up there, they were basically like, Oh, yeah she needs a steering alignment, as well as x, y and z. They never said a word, and she had been so relieved she would have a repaired car for her 40 minute work commute the next day. Nope. Just kept the car there for another couple days, while making arrangements again to get to work. Two days later, we pick up the car along with another bill for 5 or 6 hundred. Prior to this, we had good experiences, but I'm undecided whether I'll go back after they returned the car in that condition, knowing full well it was a big problem, instead of of giving her a call about it. They are fast, and have convenient hours.

Ron quickly diagnosed and fixed the issues, delivering a fast turnaround time that fit perfectly into my schedule. The service was professional, honest, and reliable, making Ron's Auto Service my new go-to for vehicle maintenance. Highly satisfied and would definitely recommend!

They obviously put other vehicles ahead of mine. Which rubbed me the wrong way. But I tried to be patient. We agreed on an oil change, tune up, brakes, strut and tires for 2 grand. They charged me 2500$ and didn't even do the tires or oil. I immediately took it for a second opinion and the new mechanic told me the vehicle's engine was shot. I am so upset that I paid thousands of dollars to fix a van that wasn't worth fixing in the first place. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!!

Thank you Willie's Garage. I want to share a story with the yelp community about Willie's…read more We started taking our vehicles here in the fall of 2022. At the time it really never occurred to me to do a yelp review for an auto mechanic. This is long over due. We would always take our cars to the dealership for any type of service. And never thought twice about it. In September of 2022, we had an issue with our Lincoln MKC where the engine light kept coming on. Like clockwork we took it to the local Lincoln dealership in Westlake , where we purchased it from in 2016. At the time this was happening there was around 60k miles on the car. After doing some initial online research about why the engine light would come on, the thought was something that it could be fixed with it not being too costly. After going to the dealership to diagnose and attempt to fix the car, we got an astonishing diagnosis. Per the dealership the engine needed to be replaced!!! Upon getting this news I was stunned. How in the world a car that was maintained well with only 60k miles need a new engine that was 6 years old??? Expressing my frustration with the dealership they did not offer any alternate solutions except to give a "discount" on being a valued customer the last 6 years. The original quote for a new engine was close to 8k and with our "valued customer discount" they took it down to 7k. Still digesting this information I was in shock that this was the only option or having to get a new vehicle. Now, the good part. Once I came to the realization of this, I started asking family & friends about any local mechanics they use that are trustworthy & honest for a second opinion. I got Willie's Garage information and made an appointment for them to have a look. Around $800 total the car was fixed!!!!! Ever since that , we do not take our cars anywhere else for service. Today we sold the MKC. It was bitter sweet as it was a reliable vehicle for the 8 years we had it. Thank you to Willie's for having an alternate option on repairing the vehicle two years ago. In today's environment I find it challenging encountering businesses that have their customers best interest in mind and not their profit. Willie's has made a life long customer out me & my family. Good work, honest service and more than reasonable prices for repairs. If you are looking for a good mechanic I highly recommend going to Willie's!

Our 2010 Dodge Caravan needed a new exhaust system. We took the car in on Monday and didn't get it back until Friday. At the cost of about $600. Within a short time it stated making noise again, so we took it back in about 6 weeks later and they said they fixed it. No charge. Not a week later it was as noisy as before. This time we took it somewhere else! The new shop showed us what they removed from the van. The welds were extremely poor and not functional. The parts they used did not fit. The exhaust pipe was bumping against the frame of the car and the pipe stuck out an extra 5-6 inches in the back. The welds had been covered in a putty that stopped the exhaust leakage and noise briefly, but was flaking off. The system was replaced in a matter of hours at a cost of $384. It is quiet and safe. We now have a new service team!!
