We ordered three lomo saltado dishes (delicious, perfectly cooked), and my wife had the seafood soup, which was rich, flavorful and comforting. Each dish was served hot, fresh, and full of flavor -- clearly prepared with care. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The portion sizes were generous, and for the quality and taste we felt it was excellent value. The ambiance was relaxed and pleasant -- ideal for a family meal. This was our third time in under four months, and the quality has been consistently top-notch every single time. They've proven they can deliver excellent food and service over multiple visits -- no drop in standards. I am very disappointed with both the food and the service. For the prices they charge, I expected the food to be at least edible. I ordered tallarin verde w/ chicken, arroz chaufa w/chicken, yucca a la huancaína, and half of a rotisserie chicken. My total came to $82.10. Unfortunately, the tallarin verde and chicken were so salty that no one could eat them. The arroz chaufa tasted old, and the rice was hard. I called the restaurant to see if they could pick up the food and replace it. I was told I would have to bring it back myself. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do that, and there was no effort to offer a refund or any other solution for the poor-quality food. Disappointed by the Service and Extra Charges I really wanted to like this place, but my recent experience left me disappointed--especially with the service and how a simple issue was handled. I placed an Uber Eats order and specifically requested a large hot sauce (the green sauce), which I was charged nearly $5 for. Instead, I only received the regular small portion that comes with the meal. I called the restaurant to let them know, and they confirmed the sauce wasn't included and told me I could come pick it up. When I arrived, two women at the front gave me puzzled looks and seemed completely uninterested in helping. They insisted the sauce was in the order, even though I had just spoken to someone who said otherwise. The energy was cold and unwelcoming--no effort to fix the issue, no apology, just confusion and resistance. It's served with two sauces, the yellow one is earthy/savory and the green sauce has a kick! We also ordered half a pitcher of Chicha morada (sweet purple corn drink). A lot of places add too much sugar to this drink, but this one was perfect. For an entree my partner ordered tallarines verde (pesto pasta) with steak. It was a huge portion, so much so that he had leftovers to go. I ordered the ceviche mixto. The seafood tasted so fresh and did I mention the portions are huge?
