I am very thankful for Santa Barbara Airbus getting me from Goleta to LAX on time. I was caught in…read moretraffic during my drive down from Lompoc, CA, and the driver, passengers, and staff were very helpful in making sure I was accommodated. I left my car at the Goleta terminal, as I have done in the past. As a side note, I also wanted to ask whether there is still a discount for customers who drive down from Lompoc, since doing so saves Santa Barbara Airbus fuel, time, and labor. Either way, while the departure from Goleta was hectic, it was ultimately successful, and I appreciated the assistance. Unfortunately, my return experience was not as positive. When I arrived back in Goleta, I noticed that my car was not parked in the front lot, where it has always been in the past. I asked the driver if he could help me get my car and my keys. He had already unloaded my luggage and was seated back in the driver's seat. When I asked for assistance, he casually shrugged his shoulders and appeared unconcerned. At that point, it was after 10:00 PM. Although we had arrived about 35 minutes early, I was standing in the parking lot with my luggage and no clear direction about where my car was or how I was supposed to retrieve it. I finally had to ask the driver if he was simply going to leave me and my luggage there and drive away. Only then did he ask me for my name and phone number again, make a call, and begin looking for a solution. After about 15 minutes, a very kind young lady came to assist me. She explained that she was "on call" that evening, confirmed my name, showed me to my car, and pleasantly helped me continue on my way back to Lompoc. I truly appreciated her professionalism and kindness. However, I did pay for parking. Only the first five days were free, and I was charged for two additional days based on my return date. Someone forgot to move my car to the front parking area and failed to inform the driver about my keys. That oversight placed the driver in an awkward position, required another staff member to come assist me after hours, and delayed my trip home after a long day of travel. Santa Barbara Airbus is better than this. Extending a 17-hour travel day because of a preventable communication failure is not the level of service I have come to expect. I hope this matter can be reviewed so that future passengers are not left in the same situation.

My wife and I came up to Los Olivos kinda spontaneously with delusions of walking to some wineries and seeing what we could find. Danny was actually our Uber driver the first night we were there, and after telling him our naive plan of walking everywhere the next day, he kindly disagreed and offered up his services instead. He offered us an incredibly reasonable rate, drove us to four (count em, four!) wineries spread out all over Los Olivos in five or so hours, took photos so we could disconnect from our phones and really enjoy the wine/view/experience, he was prompt, helpful, and most of all, absolutely safe behind the wheel. What else can I say? The dude even showed up with Cheezits and water for us so we could make it through our, albeit aggressive, wine-athon! Danny took our spontaneous little walk-about and turned it into a really memorable weekend with great wine and zero worries. Would 100% ride with 805 again!

I've taken Uber and Lyft from DTSB before for many years, but this was by far the most UNCOMFORTABLE experience with a ride back from Downtown to UCSB that I've had. So basically, the driver said he'll drive us to Isla Vista around a fixed price, but he'll need to stop to get gas first, then he'll start the meter then. We had no choice, since basically Uber and Lyft had parties of 6 seaters unavailable at 2 am on Sunday. However, when he goes to stop for gas, he fails to mention that he already started the meter upon pickup, which he turns on the display and the meter already shows $6. We asked about it and of course he's an amnesiac about it, and it's not helping that he's ungrateful and unapologetic. Of course once the fixed price we agreed to when we got on I asked again, he doesn't remember the interaction, and then he asks how much money do I have. WOW. Talk about getting greedy when we verbally agreed not to go over a set price. That, along with that has stop in between that hiked up the prices, made me really uncomfortable about the whole ride in general. Also, a 1 star in cleanliness. The 6 available seats in the car had a dirty front so we had to sit 4 in a row in the back. These taxis are only in it for themselves. Prices are 2.5 time the rate of normal that Uber and Lyft charges. Absurd. AVOID and never take a taxi in SB if you have the choice. I rather wait for the estimated 30 minutes for Uber to arrive than deal with this.
