This was my first ever wine tasting tour and it was a great experience. We booked the tour through the hotel we were staying at as a surprise for a friend's birthday. Tony showed up on time and started our trip off with a group photo in front of the limo. We got in and found two chilled bottles of champagne, plenty of soda, water and juice. All of the glasses were filled with cute happy birthday napkins too. We took the scenic route (which was gorgeous) to the first winery. Tony was so attentive. He took pictures of us all along the way and also acted as our timekeeper (we were having so much fun we ended up going over our scheduled time, but he politely warned us when we started getting behind). He was also very knowledgeable about landmarks and what not along the way. Our tour also included a picnic lunch which Tony served us. We chose the music all along the way to the wineries, then on the way back Tony surprised us with a playlist he though we'd like-he nailed it, it had all of our favorite songs. We're supposed to be getting a CD and a photo magnet of all the pictures from out trip too- can't wait til they get here! I would definitely recommend this service to anyone read more

All she wanted was a limo to drive her and 13 of her best friends to Hollywood Lucky Strike, where they'd bowl for 2 hours and then return back to her school. After reviewing all of the positive SB Chauffeuring & Tours Yelp reviews, I decided to book them for my daughter. I spoke with Tony, who was amazing. He was extremely nice, informative, helpful & professional. I decided on the White Lincoln Navigator Stretch Limousine. Maria confirmed everything prior to our event. She even asked me to wish my daughter a happy birthday for her. Richard, my daughter's chauffeur arrived at her school. He was on time; before time! He was super duper nice, professional & funny! Nothing like a fun driver! Because all of the teens under 18, Richard went over the rules. He even gave them a camera to take pictures inside of the limo. Did I mention how nice he was??? He dropped the teens off on Hollywood Blvd., (myself and other adults followed the limo from Santa Barbara to Hollywood). While Richard found a safe place to park the limo, the teens were escorted to the Hollywood Lucky Strike. Richard captured every single moment in Lucky Strike! That's right. Honestly, SB Chauffeuring and Tours went so far above and beyond my expectations it was ridiculous. A group of 8 of us went up to Santa Barbara from LA for a fun weekend of wine tasting. One of our friends reserved the limo for us and told us that along with the limo came some bottles of champagne as well as pictures of the day and even a magnet of one of the pictures for a keepsake (Go ahead, laugh at the magnet now, you'll want it later...I promise you. The thought of a magnet grows stronger as if it has some sort of magic force contained in it that pulls you towards it). None of us knew too much about the wineries or where we wanted to go, so we picked a few places off the list they gave us at random. The limo arrived at our hotel right on time and was in perfect condition. Tony, our driver, introduced himself to all of us and gave us a quick but informative rundown of the day as well as how the controls in the back of the limo worked. He told us there was one bottle of champagne waiting for us in the limo as well as several bottles of water, soda and juice. We quickly got in the limo, popped the bottle of champagne and our wine tour began. Tony could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We told him which wineries we were interested in going to and he made sure we stayed on schedule, got to all of them and didn't dally too long at any one (which became more and more enticing as the afternoon went on) without being rude or pushy. He made sure we got group pictures at every winery and then also snapped a few candid shots while we were tasting. He took and stored our wine glasses and bottles of wine for us in a box in the trunk for safe keeping. Every time we got back in the limo there was a new bottle of champagne and freshly cleaned glasses waiting for us. I'd highly recommend SB Chauffeuring & Tours to anyone taking a trip to SB; when split among a large group, it costs less than a van or a bus and you also get wonderful personal attention. If I could make it 10, I would. we hired these guys to shuttle around the girls on my wedding day and all I can really say is that they were everything we ever dreamed they would be. Polite, professional, the Chauffeur actually opened the doors in the church so my wife could walk down the aisle so I could marry my wife. I was very pleased with Tony's professionalism, as well as his flexibility in taking our last minute reservation for a wine tour. He let us know that had we booked farther ahead, things would have been planned a little better, but I have to say that for booking the night before things went pretty smoothly! (We went during the week, so I think that accounts for the more open availability). He took into account our requests for specific wineries/preferences, and filled in with his personal knowledge of the region's wine country where needed. He was also able to quickly resolve our request for lunch, even though we didn't give him the time to order something ahead for us. Being a big photo person who is always asking other people to take pictures of my boyfriend and I on trips, I liked the extra touch that Tony brings along a nice camera and photographs your experience with the promise of a CD of photos in the end. I've had a handful of limo wine tour experiences all over CA, and the quality of drivers and vehicles varies greatly. I would put Tony's services high on my list of recommendations. read more

2.5 I've put off this review a while. I'll give this company three stars because they have clean limos, but the service was seriously lacking, downgrading them to a 2.5. Yelp kinda let me down on this one, which is where I found the business to begin with. Starting with booking, the man I spoke with was pretty forceful in having me book that day. I guess they're one of the only services in town so they kind of have the market cornered. First, when the driver picked us up, he insisted on getting the money upfront, which I find strange since they already had my card to hold the car. We said we really didn't want someone roaming around taking pictures of us, and he agreed. I'm sorry, you just look a bit high maintenance with someone roaming after you with a camera. We already had our game plan of where we wanted to visit, but he was very insistent we try certain wineries. We let him choose a few of the wineries. Awww, now I know why. When we pulled up to our first winery (recommend by him, one of the bigger names) he loaded up some cases of his own that the winery gave him. Humm, a kick-back? I'm sure that happens, but do you have to pick up your free case while we're there? I also have a problem with the fact that when he told us it was time to leave so we could get back within our timeframe we left, and when we arrived home he still charged us an extra $50 because we were about 5 minutes late past our time. Don't tell us to leave to get back within our timeframe and still charge us. This company did not make for a relaxing experience. Very overbearing and by the end of the trip I paid the extra money and didn't want to hassle with an argument. read more

Tony is the BEST! He has impeccable service and professionalism. Our friends booked Tony for our wine tour in SB and it was so fun! Tony made our trip with little touches and making sure we were all having a great time! First he checked ALL of ID's, very thorough c/ we all looked so young! ;) Then he prepared the limo with champagne, juice and bottled water. Then, before we left for our trip he made sure to take a group picture. We proceeded to our wineries and he took our pictures at all the wineries, coordinated our lunch delivery at the second winery and even brought out a table cloth linen for our bench! What a small touch that make our lunch more comfortable. He made sure we were on time for all our tasting appointments. He checked on us often and helped us find our last wineries and bathrooms haha! We were a group of about 5 girls that ventured out from Long Beach, CA for a bachelorette weekend. The wine tour was AMAZING! From start to finish, Maria was the personification of customer service and hospitality. By the time we arrived at our second winery Demetria our group fell in love and wished to stay. Once we cleared it with Maria, it was no problem to cancel the final winery on our tour; so we just spent the difference on a bottle of wine while we relaxed to live music & a nice picnic lunch. I planned a surprise trip to Santa Barbara for our 10th anniversary. I was referred to SB Chauffeuring from the hotel I had booked and it was one of the best referrals I have ever been given. We had a wine tour scheduled for the afternoon with Maria who was hands down one of the nicest people we have ever met. Her knowledge of the region was vast and her professionalism was exceptional. Tony was absolutely amazing!! He promptly picked us up at our hotel with camera in hand. He informed us that he would be taking pictures of us throughout the day so we didn't have to worry too much about it. He would be making a disc and sending it to us. Of course we still used our own cameras, but he was able to get some great shots of all 6 of us. There were 3 bottles of champagne in the limo along with plenty of water, soda and juices. Tony took care of absolutely everything. He had menus from an amazing cafe, told us to order and while we were wine tasting, he went to pick up our order (this was an extra $15, but so very worth it). He set up a beautiful table for us in the courtyard of the winery for us to enjoy our lunch. Unfortunately we only got to go to 2 wineries (we had a really long tour at the first one so it kind of threw us off schedule), but Tony was amazing and very accommodating. One of my friends had a headache and he actually went to the store and bought her Tylenol while we were tasting wine. The day ended with a tour through Isla Vista (a trip down memory lane). Tony went above and beyond and was an amazing host. I can not say enough wonderful things about the VIP service that we were provided!! I recently used this service for a wine tasting tour in Santa Barbara for my girlfriend (now fiancee). This was going to be the day I proposed to my girlfriend so I wanted to make sure everything was done right. Tony (the driver) was fantastic. Tony went out of his way to make sure it was a special day. He was on time (early actually) in picking us up. The limo was sparkling new and clean (2008 model I believe). It matched the car on the website as he said it would. Bottle of champagne and bottles of water were waiting for us. Tony just went out of his way to provide VIP service to us. All of the wineries we went to (Demetria, Curtis, Foxstone) all knew Tony and treated us great. He made sure to let them know we just got engaged and even got us some deals. Tony also took pictures of our entire trip. He took so many great ones and has a good camera so they came out great. A CD showed up at our door within the week. We didn't even realize he was taking so many pictures. Tony exceeded our expectations and we hope to visit with him again. His professionalism and personality made for a great trip. I called last minute to book a limo for my birthday and SB Chauffeuring had sold out all of their limos due to a Vintners festival going on that weekend. I spoke with Tony several times over a 2 day period of time regarding potentially renting their Lincoln Navigator. Our group decided to not go with the navigator as we wanted to be able to drink on the way up (which is not legal to do in a Navigator). So we ended up going with a limo from another company. I was very impressed with Tony and I had a feeling we would be thrilled with the limo and service he would provide had we gone with his company. He knew I was looking into other companies and even went so far as to make sure the one I ended up going with had proper insurance. What a guy! The towncar was clean and had cute bachlorette decals. We went to go wine tasting and I enjoyed myself so much! I got to go to my three favorite wineries, he placed my cases of wedding wine and purchases in the car for us. We went a little over our time, but who cared we were having fun! He told us very politely about our time and we extended it. He even ran us to summerland to drop off our purchases before dinner in SB. I am a regular town car user in the US and overseas, and I am admittedly very exacting in my standards. On a recent trip back to LAX, I needed a ride home to Santa Barbara, and based on reviews called Tony from halfway across the world. He made the reservation process simple and painless, and when I managed to catch an earlier flight out of JFK, graciously and effortlessly adjusted to my new arrival time. The car was spotless and gleaming inside and out. Small touches, such as a hanger for my jacket, small pillows for back support, and a passenger seat moved all the way forward to give me extra legroom were first class. Tony was polite, professional, and an excellent driver who obviously takes great pride in his company. I try to buy local whenever possible, and I am so glad to find such a world class service so close to home. We recently were on two different cruises that stopped in Santa Barbara and wanted to take both opportunities to visit wine country. Via yelp and a good friend we found Tony and got a great price for a day trip in his 30 day new Mercedes limo/van. He was so great the first time we used him the second time. Each time we trusted him to pick three stops. All six of his suggestions were spot on and enjoyable. We were even able to have him stop and pick up lunch for us. Even this was 5 star service. Gourmet lunch was set up both times for us while we tasted inside. Walking out to a set table with linen cloth in the middle of the vines was awesome! If you need a chauffeur, SB Chauffeuring and Tours is the BEST! I am a Make@Wish child and this company was booked for my drive to and from my home to LAX. Let me tell you, I have had my experience with limo services in the past, and TONY THE DRIVER, was AMAZING! He went above and beyond the normal duties. My flight was an 8am flight and we had to leave at 4AM! Not only was Tony on time, but he was at our house 20 min earlier and even sent my mom a text message saying he was here so he did not wake the rest of the household. While we were half asleep getting into the BEAUTIFUL WHITE LIMO, he nicely and quickly (seeing that we were still sleepy) told us how all the controls work and that there was sparkling cider and waters and juices for us as well. The ride was sooo smooth and Tony was so friendly. When we got to the airport he took more pictures of us and said he would also be the one picking us up when we came back from our trip. During our trip and flight we could not stop talking about how great he was top each other and other people on the plane. When we got back from our trip, Tony was not only there early but also waiting patiently for us to arrive. Once again, he told us there was more apple cider and waters and sodas if we would like. Then he took a few more pictures and asked us about our trip and made a very friendly welcome back conversation. Even though we landed very late, when we got back, we were STARVING and Tony took us to In-N-Out, no questions asked. He even walked us to the door of In-N-Out, and was a complete gentlemen. Tony was AWESOME to say the least. I just received my CD of our pictures from him today and they too are priceless. If you need a chauffeur, go with them. Never will I ever rent from this company due to the extremely rude woman who took my phone call. I told her I had a party of 20 people and she rudely told me she had nothing at all to offer me. Being in the hospitality industry, it is essential to offer at least something, even if it doesn't work for my situation. I then asked her if they had the space for 15 people. She then again, responded saying no. Okay woman.... Work with me here. I asked her the maximum amount a limo could hold and she said 14 and that none of them were available for my event. At this point I asked if she could recommend any other services that could accommodate my party, and she said "I don't work for anybody else. Its on you to find them." Excuse me, but when a person works in customer service, it is their job to provide help and information if they can't. Her attitude and rude response will never make me consider this "luxury" service in the future. read more

We hired SB Chauffeuring & Tours for our wedding on 10.10.15. They were very accommodating for our large group. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because unfortunately the driver did not pick us up to take us to church. There seemed to be some communication error because the driver stated that he knocked on our door, but nobody heard a knock and I didn't get a call on my cell phone. (We think he went to the wrong address!) I was a very low stress bride and wasn't going to let this bother me. Luckily my mom has an SUV and was able to fit me and my dress in her car. The driver was waiting for us after the ceremony and took us to get pictures, we did keep him for a half hour longer than the contract stated, so we figured that made us even for not picking me up to take me to the ceremony. :) Would definitely use again. read more
