I was caught in…read moretraffic during my drive down from Lompoc, CA, and the driver, passengers, and staff were very helpful in making sure I was accommodated. I left my car at the Goleta terminal, as I have done in the past. As a side note, I also wanted to ask whether there is still a discount for customers who drive down from Lompoc, since doing so saves Santa Barbara Airbus fuel, time, and labor. Either way, while the departure from Goleta was hectic, it was ultimately successful, and I appreciated the assistance. Unfortunately, my return experience was not as positive. When I arrived back in Goleta, I noticed that my car was not parked in the front lot, where it has always been in the past. I asked the driver if he could help me get my car and my keys. He had already unloaded my luggage and was seated back in the driver's seat. When I asked for assistance, he casually shrugged his shoulders and appeared unconcerned. At that point, it was after 10:00 PM. Although we had arrived about 35 minutes early, I was standing in the parking lot with my luggage and no clear direction about where my car was or how I was supposed to retrieve it. I finally had to ask the driver if he was simply going to leave me and my luggage there and drive away. Only then did he ask me for my name and phone number again, make a call, and begin looking for a solution. After about 15 minutes, a very kind young lady came to assist me. She explained that she was "on call" that evening, confirmed my name, showed me to my car, and pleasantly helped me continue on my way back to Lompoc. I truly appreciated her professionalism and kindness. However, I did pay for parking. Only the first five days were free, and I was charged for two additional days based on my return date. Someone forgot to move my car to the front parking area and failed to inform the driver about my keys. That oversight placed the driver in an awkward position, required another staff member to come assist me after hours, and delayed my trip home after a long day of travel. Santa Barbara Airbus is better than this. Extending a 17-hour travel day because of a preventable communication failure is not the level of service I have come to expect. I hope this matter can be reviewed so that future passengers are not left in the same situation.

Once we booked, we were connected with Lindsay, who was incredibly responsive and always easy to reach. She answered every follow up question and made deposits and payments simple and stress free. It truly felt like we were working with people who love what they do and care about the Santa Barbara community. We even got to choose custom wording for our buses before and after the ceremony, which added such a fun and personal touch. On the wedding day, the drivers were friendly, upbeat, and so accommodating. They let us play whatever music we wanted and made sure all of our guests felt comfortable. I had also used Jump on the Bus for a bachelorette party and had the exact same smooth and enjoyable experience, which says so much about their consistency. I cannot recommend this company enough. As a wedding planner, having a transportation partner I can truly rely on makes an enormous difference, and Jump on the School Bus delivers every time. Couples love them, guests love them, and their professionalism takes a significant amount of stress off my shoulders. I've worked with many shuttle and transportation companies over the years, and they are, without question, one of the very best. Highly recommend!

Michael, our bus driver, was on time, courteous, and very friendly. He drove us there safely, waited two hours for us, and then took us all back home with no issues. The boys were so excited and absolutely LOVED the party bus. They sang every song that my son-in-law played and were having so much fun! They were so happy and singing so loudly that I thought Michael would tell them to quiet down, but he said loud didn't bother him. In my opinion, Michael is a rock star! Unfortunately, no one showed up on the day of the wedding. After repeatedly calling to figure out what was going on, we were eventually told that our driver had forgotten about us and would be more than 40 minutes late. At that point, we had no choice but to cancel and scramble for another way to get to the ceremony. Instead of arriving in the transportation we carefully planned and paid for, I ended up squeezing my wedding dress into a friend's pickup truck just to make it there on time. I understand that mistakes can happen, but forgetting a couple on their wedding day is unacceptable. I would not trust this company for an important event.

Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the more disappointing parts of the trip. The seating is tightly packed. I understand maximizing capacity, but at 6'6" it was not comfortable. We moved to the front right side where there is a sideways bench behind the driver, which offered more legroom. That felt like a smart move until we realized most of the sights being pointed out were on the left side of the trolley. It felt like about 80 percent of the tour was oriented that direction, which meant we were constantly twisting around and still missing details. If you book this tour, sit on the left side. The narration also felt disorganized. The driver mentioned he was reading the traffic flow incorrectly and ended up doing much of the route "backwards." Because of that, he would introduce a historical figure or landmark, then later circle back and partially repeat the same information when reaching his usual talking point. There was noticeable repetition and filler instead of a smooth, cohesive storyline. Midway through the tour, there is a stop at Mission Santa Barbara for about 15 minutes. While it is nice to get off and stretch your legs, 15 minutes is nowhere near enough time to meaningfully experience the mission. You can walk through the courtyard and take a few photos, but that is about it. The mission deserves more time than a quick pass through. In practice, the stop felt more like a checkbox than a real opportunity to explore. Another frustration was departure time. The 2:00 p.m. tour did not leave at 2:00. The driver waited past the scheduled time to see if additional passengers would join. When you are visiting from out of town and carefully stacking your schedule, those extra 10 to 15 minutes matter. Overall, for about $30 per person, I expected a more polished and better organized experience. We both left disappointed. If you want a meaningful introduction to Santa Barbara, you may be better off exploring key spots on your own at your own pace.

Standard Gratuitity? There is no such thing as a Standard Gratuity. Gratuity is based on service and as per the following email I received from you would that standard would be ZERO as you have no standard of customer service. WTH is an STC Surcharge? and WTH is an Admin Fee? and you are only "ESTIMATING" that ? Seriously. To which I replied in an email, "you're joking right?" And then, Mr. Customer Service Rep of the Year (sarcasm) emailed the following: "No not at all. I am in business to make a living. If you cannot afford our service then I'd recommend taking a taxi." Word for word this is his attitude. Guess What Mr. Chris Heckler, your rude and assuming email and list of 'surcharges' and gratituties shows me you are the scruge of your business. I wouldn't step one foot into any of your vehicles if YOU PAID ME TO and from the other review here on yelp, it looks like this is the way you roll.
