Contracted last minute with RockStar for a birthday party bus to take ten 11-12 year old boys, two teen girls, and three adults from Goleta to Sky Zone in Ventura. Michael, our bus driver, was on time, courteous, and very friendly. He drove us there safely, waited two hours for us, and then took us all back home with no issues. The boys were so excited and absolutely LOVED the party bus. They sang every song that my son-in-law played and were having so much fun! They were so happy and singing so loudly that I thought Michael would tell them to quiet down, but he said loud didn't bother him. In my opinion, Michael is a rock star! We booked Rockstar Transportation (who is affiliated with Sblimos.com) for transportation to our wedding ceremony and confirmed everything the night before, so we thought we were all set. Unfortunately, no one showed up on the day of the wedding. After repeatedly calling to figure out what was going on, we were eventually told that our driver had forgotten about us and would be more than 40 minutes late. At that point, we had no choice but to cancel and scramble for another way to get to the ceremony. Instead of arriving in the transportation we carefully planned and paid for, I ended up squeezing my wedding dress into a friend's pickup truck just to make it there on time. I understand that mistakes can happen, but forgetting a couple on their wedding day is unacceptable. I would not trust this company for an important event. read more

We live in a challenging area off of Painted Cave Rd. Coordinating with our driver Kurt was initially difficult as a result, but once we connected it was smooth. Kurt did a wonderful job. The bus was so comfortable, nice/chic looking and the storage space was greatly appreciated!! At one point, our neighbors were blocking the road with an impromptu gathering and the bus could not pass by. Kurt did not need us to intervene. He handled the conversation like a professional and resolved the issue quickly to keep our group on schedule. Zero stars!!!! Please don't ever use this company. My friends and I had THE MOST TERRIBLE experience 10/26/2019 with RockStar Transportation and driver by name KURT in particular. We ordered a trolley to drive us to few vineyards in Santa Barbara. After 20 mins of our trip all our group suddenly changed their festive mood to fearless. Driver was speeding in a really winding road, in addition to what he seemed really tired, his eyes were closing and opening again and he was nearly falling asleep. We asked him to slow down 3 times, each time getting in response that than it will take longer to get to our destination ( which was totally fine for us, unless we will be safe). Few of our girls tired to talk to the driver all the time and not to give him to fall asleep as al visual signs showed that he was very tired and exhausted. Everyone in our group were scared and could not wait for a moment to get our from this trolley and forget about this terrible ride. After we arrived to our destination ( thanks god alive) we called company and told that we refused to drive back with this particular driver, who by the way was denying he was falling asleep and not tired at all. After spending time to find new and reliable transportation back we finally could relax and enjoy ourselves. When our new transportation service arrived that told us that on their way to us they saw this particular trolley and driver KURT pulled over and sleeping inside it! And now big questions: How does the driver was not tired? How he can start his shift knowing he is responsible for 13 other lives and his own and be sleepy and not ready for a long day of driving? This company and driver Kurt in particular should not provide transportation service to Anyone. If you still think that you want to use this company please DO NOT!!! read more

We had the absolute WORST experience with this shuttle service for my daughter's wedding. Started with leaving guests behind at multiple hotels that were supposed to be driven to the wedding venue . At the end of the evening, they were completely unorganized screwing up the schedule, and the drivers were extremely rude. I rarely write negative reviews, but this one is truly an exception, and something everyone needs to know. Do NOT hire this company. The driver we had for an hour-long drive out to the wineries not only was hurtling along and driving somewhat dangerously in a trolley with no seats, he was falling ASLEEP at the wheel. (This was 1:00 pm in the afternoon.) He kept nodding off several times throughout the drive. We felt so unsafe that two of the passengers stood up next to him playing music & talking to him the entire second half of the drive to make sure he stayed awake. When we brought up our concerns to him & the company, he was extremely rude and the company said he would "be better." (Hardly comforting after a harrowing drive.) After the company failed to provide us another driver, the winery (who was incredible!) found other modes of transportation for us. The kicker? After denying he was tired, on the way back, we saw the previous trolley driver pulled up on the side of the road SLEEPING- he barely made it a few miles down the road, reconfirming our fears all along. We tried numerous times to rectify the situation at the time, with the driver & with the company after. Bottom line- we felt so unsafe, the driver was incredibly rude & the experience was horrible. Please, please find alternative transportation! There are a lot better options available in Los Olivos area! read more

We hired this company for our work company event from SB to the Sofi Stadium for Taylor Swift. (So in total like a 12 hour booking and we had a group of 20.) I read reviews and got somewhat nervous what other reviewers were saying but let me say, if you are lucky enough to book John, you are in for such an amazing time. John was on time, kind, warm, brought us waters and went out of his way to make us feel safe. When the concert was over he came out of the bus (which he didn't need to do) and stood on the street to find our large party and then walked us back to the bus so we didn't get lost. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY! They are the same company as SB Luxury Limos. If I could put zero stars and still leave a review, I would. I booked a Trolley wine tour with this company for a bachelorette party hoping that it would be a reliable form of transportation while wine tasting but I couldn't be more wrong. We were picked up by Kurt T. (Yes, the Kurt T. Who gave his own company a 5 star Yelp review for his "live-in girlfriend Kira" who also gave her company a 5 star review that got removed from Yelp). During our drive to what was supposed to be our first winery stop, he began speeding, turning corners of a windy road at what the company said was "tracked by our gps at 67 mph" but felt like 80 miles per hour, erratically passing around semi-trucks and FALLING ASLEEP WHILE DRIVING! After noticing his multiple times dozing off, we had to have two people stay up front with him to keep him awake during our drive, offering him water, tapping his shoulder every time he started dozing off, and even asking him multiple times to slow down, in which he kept answering "it's going to take us longer to get there". I don't know about you, but I'd rather be alive than speed to my destination! When we arrived at the Winery, we called Rockstar Transportation to request a new driver, as we did not feel safe getting back into the vehicle with Kurt. After a half hour, the company called us back letting us know they didn't have any other drivers available and that Kurt said he would "do better" driving us to our next destination. Still not feeling safe getting back into the Trolley, we asked if we could get a refund if we found another ride home, in which they confirmed, so we found another means of getting home, which was not cheap. That evening, I sent Rockstar Transportation an email confirming the refund and asking when I would be able to receive it. With no response for the next few days, and multiple follow-up emails, I decided to call them. I got through to Stephanie, their Operations Manager, whom originally booked our transportation. After going back and forth with them, Stephanie stated the story "didn't add up" and gave multiple excuses including, "Kurts live-in girlfriend Kira, who is also a driver for our company, said they went to bed the evening before at 9pm" and asked for photo evidence of his sow ending, erratic driving and dozing off at the wheel. When you're in a life threatening situation, your first thought isn't to pull out your phone to take photos. With these excuses, they decided to only refund us a partial payment after threatening to report them to the BBB and get a lawyer involved. The fact that they think a paying customer would make up these allegations blows my mind. AND to not even follow up with us after this horrible experience! If it wasn't for me being persistent with them on following up by calling and emailing, the company couldn't care less. I REPEAT, DO NOT UTILIZE THIS COMPANY FOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES unless you want to potentially go through the same thing we did. I will never recommend this company to anyone and hope that they learn better business practices including surveying their drivers before putting others lives at risk. read more

One bad apple does spoil the bunch. Crusty failed to show at 6:15am when scheduled the night before. Calls to Rock Star continued to forward to Crusty's voice mail. By 6:25am I gave up and drove myself. Now that's $ I'm out If you're hailing Rock Star on the street as I have, no problem with them. Even when making arrangements for a pickup, I've had prompt service from the two women who've worked this shift. When we were done with our tasting, he was nowhere to be found outside the wineries. At one point he stopped for gas and we almost missed our last stop! He had plenty of time to fill up the gas tank while we were tasting. But this guy was super unprofessional. And seriously, we had no hook up with the wineries or any benefit to booking with them, Rockstar. My friend called to complain and they blew it off by putting us on hold for a very long time. Such a rude and unhelpful company!! I booked a party bus wine tour for my birthday, and they were seemingly helpful at the beginning, but boy was I wrong. They first come across as helpful- making reservations and what not, but they were NOT reliable. They fed me multiple lies in the planning process. Here are the issues we came across: 1.) 10 minutes before they're supposed to pick my group, they call and say they're going to be late because they need to put oil in the party bus. 2.) They tell us the karaoke machine in the bus is broken (which was one of the main reasons we booked with this company!!) 3.) The driver does not have our pre-planned itinerary and we have to keep giving her directions to where we were going- not a peaceful experience; kept taking all of us out of the moment! 4.) I was told we would have 1 hour at each winery, and then at our last winery, not only did they not have our reservation, the driver told us that we only have 30 minutes at this location. My friends had to wait inside for us to try and find a table (this winery was packed!), and then I was outside talking to driver showing her the emails that told me we were supposed to have an hour at the winery. She kept denying it even though I had proof in my email. She told us that we better be back at the car at the time she said, or we were going to get charged and she was going to get in trouble. Since I wasted 15 minutes talking to her outside, I had only 15 minutes for the planned wine tasting- NOT fun. 5.) After the tour was done, I reached out to the company to let them know all the issues I had, and they didn't even respond! I tried emailing them a few weeks later, and NO response. This company has false advertisement, and has extremely poor customer service. DO NOT use this company. read more

Here's what happened: We made a reservation in September for 34 people to travel around Santa Barbara on December 22nd to look at the holiday lights. Family, Friends, kiddos and some of these people were from out of town. Throughout the fall we checked-in with this company and paid our deposit. So today finally came and we called to confirm and they informed us that they are cancelling our reservation for no reason at all. We talked to the manager and he just said sorry something must have gone wrong. They offered no remorse. They didn't even call us to tell us this we had to call them. What's the point of a reservation?!?! The rumors are true this company is not to be trusted. If it was possible I'd offer zero stars. read more

I used RockStar Transportation for transport from LAX to Santa Barbara after an overseas business trip. After a 15 hour flight, the last thing you want to do is stress on your ride, so getting a text soon after landing letting us know he was waiting for us outside the terminal and to let him know when we've cleared customs was greatly appreciated. There was a group of 4 of us who stepped out of LAX jet lagged after a 15 hour flight, and James warmly greeted us curbside in a very clean, spacious SUV. After a long flight, the last thing you want is a long drive, but the vehicle was extremely comfortable and the ride felt smooth and safe. We even added a couple of stops to drop off people at their houses and he was able to accommodate. I wouldn't hesitate using James & RockStar for another car service to or from LAX in the future. read more

So I bought 5 tickets for me and friends to go on Christmas light trolley tour for Thursday Dec. 7th. Since the fires have been going on the air quality in Santa Barbara is very bad, as well as possible danger since fires are still burning. They had called me the day of trolley tour to cancel event because of the Thomas fire and to reschedule. I have 4 other friends going with me and we are all busy this month with holidays and could only go that day cancelled. Rockstar Trolley Tours cancellation policy states, "Customers will receive a full refund with 7 days notice before their scheduled event. Customers will also receive a FULL REFUND in case of UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price." So, as I see, this fire is a natural disaster and is an unforeseen circumstance. I've called them on 3 different days and they make excuses and give me the run around. Extremely poor customer service. I just want the refund that is entitled back to me. Now I am going through my credit card company which I charged tickets on for a dispute for a charge back. read more

What a fantastic experience we had with this company. Stephanie and I went back and forth via email for a couple weeks. She scheduled all the winery reservations for us. I must add, this was no easy task with Covid. Somehow she pulled it off. It was so nice to have that taken off our plate. Then, the day of, Kira was our driver. She was AMAZING! The day was potentially going to be a challenge because 30 min before our pick up time, the electricity went out throughout the entire valley. Kira and Rockstar made some calls, and the consensus was, let's go check it out. They felt confident the wineries would honor parties with reservations. So we went for it, and had a wonderful day! At every winery, Kira would let us all unload, then she would go ahead of us to make sure our reservation was all set. Additionally, she kept us on track to make sure we were on track for our next reservation. She had a delightful air about her and really made our day. Thank you Rockstar and Kira! read more
