Don't go here, rude staff and poor quality.
Would give negative stars if it were possible. I came here twice within this year and both times (they were months apart) the employees were EXTREMELY rude. My first encounter was with my friend and my boyfriend before heading to jazzfest. They ordered the tomato and basil special. They were out of basil, so my friend had asked since they were out of the basil that maybe he could get some extra cheese or a different topping. They said no, which isn't the issue, but rather that they were very snarly and rude to him for asking such a simple question. I had a bit of my boyfriends pizza and I have to say, that the quality was pretty poor. The sauce was lacking, the cheese seemed hard, and the tomato was far too mushy, not to mention no basil on the tomato and basil pizza.
Anyway, just recently, on my work break I decided to pop in and inquire if they had jalapeno poppers.
The man in the restaurant told me yes. So I asked how much. He told me that he doesn't know, and that they're for customers. I thought that was an odd and confusing thing to say, as I am clearly there AS a customer. so I said "well what if I wanted to be a customer and buy some?" He then proceeded to tell me that they had them but he didn't know how much they would be.
Then he pointed to the array of toppings and pointed out the jalapenos. Okay whatever, it's a misunderstanding. I kind of chuckled, feeling awkward about the whole ordeal and him talking to me in such a bizarre way, and said as friendly as I could, "well that was a weird conversation, hah, hah" to which he replied "No you're the weird one"
Okay?? Well even if you thought that I was being rude, you still don't insult a customer like that.
I am going to tell all of the students at my work not to go here, unless they feel like getting belittled and insulted, just for some sub-par "pizza" which I'm sure they don't.
You work in a pizzeria, there is SO much competition and you can't even just be polite? Sometimes, just being friendly even with shit quality food will bring customers back. It's a shame, really. read more
