This was my first visit to Dr. Branovan and after an easy check in process at the front desk, I saw the doctor. He looked in my ear, throat, and put the camera device through my nose. We had a question and answer back and forth of my symptoms. He explained what he thinks is wrong with my ear and suggested treatment with antibiotics, two nasal sprays - followed by a CT Scan of my sinus. He then told me he knows exactly how I am feeling - as if my ear is under water when someone is speaking to me and he was spot on. (It made me feel great to hear him say that because it's a big fear when you don't know if a doctor can really understand what is bothering you). Additionally a huge thanks to Tatyana at the front desk for helping me with the CT Scan process and pharmacy information. I really don't know why anyone would give less than 5 stars. Because they waited a while? I personally didn't wait - and was seen on time but even if I had to wait - isn't that a testament of how good the doctor is that so many people want to see him? I just can't say enough good things about the experience and am excited to cure this problem which has been an annoyance to me for years. Thanks guys!

Instead, he immediately attempted to perform an endoscopy without my consent and billed me over $1,000 for it. This was entirely unnecessary for a routine sinus infection. They also invoiced for 45-minute visit when it literally took 5 minutes I left the appointment with no prescription, just a book recommendation on Amazon. When I later messaged the office about worsening symptoms (yellow/brown mucus), I was told I had to schedule another visit--less than a week after my first appointment. Only after I said I would have raised the issue with my insurance did Dr. Tandon call me later in the day, saying he could not prescribe an antibiotic without a CT scan but he would have done an exception For reference, I ultimately resolved my infection with a $6 antibiotic prescribed elsewhere.

I saw Dr Tandon yesterday with a flu at 102.2. My body had been in pain from head to toe and I was miserable. His nurse (Erica) was a sweetheart and was very hospitable as she told me twice "If you need anything, let me know" This is patient care! When Dr Tandon came in, he got right to business and asked me about my symptoms as well as discuss what I've been feeling lately. He makes eye contact and is very forward in his approach. This is a doctor who LISTENS and actually shows care. He's efficient and talks with you as he performs anything so nothng comes as a surprise. Book an appointment with him today. Dr. Wu and her staff left such an impression that despite numerous moves, I entrust her with my care and commute from Passaic County, NJ. The wait times are relatively short (usually 15 minutes maximum). The doctor and all support staff are so understanding. Dr. Wu is knowledgeable, compassionate, sympathetic, and understanding. She took the time to listen to me and take appropriate action. She promptly explained to me numerous differential diagnosis for my complaint with use of diagrams and models. She took the time to educate me and walked me through all the necessary testing and referrals for further imaging (otherwise could have been very stressful). She was thorough and efficient with her initial diagnosis but did not stop there - she addressed numerous other underlying conditions such as chronic sinus infection which was causing years of frequent headaches and difficulty breathing. She is extremely knowledgeable with insurance providers which was essential to ensure appropriate coverage of all treatment options to reduce any stress on my experience! I was on IV antibiotics Teflaro and and IM injections of Rocephin for bad bacteria infections with other doctors--nothing helped. But they refused to take my tonsils out--not a common practice for adults I was told. But if you are super sick and constantly have to be on antibiotics why wouldn't you? Dr Finley has been nothing short of amazing. A super smart, kind and caring ENT surgeon (looks like a young David Byrne from the Talking Heads). He removed my tonsils using the latest plasma technology. Post Op he said I had bad tonsillitis and it was a good thing we removed them. While I am one day into recovery the right side doesn't hurt at all. He said my left was far worse even though I thought my right was. Still painful but happy they are out. I highly recommend him and his staff and his personal assistant Julia who is so attentive and professional. Everyone at Northwell has been great and they are in a beautiful new downtown building at 7 7th Avenue. They won me over.

Being the person I am, I wanted to go to the absolutely best doctor there is. I did my research and found Dr. Kuhel, not only that, but, I consulted with a cousin of mine who is a professor of medicine at Emory University Medical School and asked him to do some research for me. He also said Dr. Kuhel came out as number one. I scheduled my appointment with him and am glad I did. He is a fairly quiet spoken gentleman, but knew from the very first visit and the symptoms, that I had Primary Hyperparathyroidism. He scheduled some tests and then shorty thereafter the surgery.
