But they refused to take my tonsils out--not a common practice for adults I was told. But if you are super sick and constantly have to be on antibiotics why wouldn't you? Dr Finley has been nothing short of amazing. A super smart, kind and caring ENT surgeon (looks like a young David Byrne from the Talking Heads). He removed my tonsils using the latest plasma technology. Post Op he said I had bad tonsillitis and it was a good thing we removed them. While I am one day into recovery the right side doesn't hurt at all. He said my left was far worse even though I thought my right was. Still painful but happy they are out. I highly recommend him and his staff and his personal assistant Julia who is so attentive and professional. Everyone at Northwell has been great and they are in a beautiful new downtown building at 7 7th Avenue. They won me over.

By that point, my conductive bones had eroded, making this a very challenging situation. Dr. Sperling was extremely clear and thorough in explaining the risks involved with another revision, and I chose to proceed fully informed. I experienced immediate improvement in my hearing after surgery, and at one month post-op my hearing continues to improve. This was truly a salvage case after several failed operations. She is not only highly professional, active as a researcher in her field, up-to-date on all the latest advances and break-through, and an excellent doctor, but she treats her patients as human beings. I'll finish out my allergy shots as the staff are pleasant, efficient, friendly, etc. There are -0- allergy shot options in the area but I'd still rather travel into the city for a clean patent waiting area, rather than receive counsel from a physician on the "importance of a clean home environment" after having sat in a patient waiting area that was so neglected. I personally just made a $1000 payment as per my insurance responsibility ~ and that single payment might easily be applied toward wood flooring. Look elsewhere for a professional allergy practice.

He sent the drug prescription directly to the hospital's pharmacy via computer instead of giving a hard copy of drug prescription. Unfortunately when I went to the hospital's pharmacy, the drug was out of stock. So I was trying to reach Dr. Weber during a weekend but no success. I called the hospital and explained my situation. The on-duty doctor couldn't reach Dr. Weber either. So ended up I have to suffer my spinning for at least 2 days. Finally on Monday, he sent the drug prescription to my preferred pharmacy but without any notification until I called the pharmacy to confirm. 2) My audiologist informed Dr. Weber about my facial nerve stimulation situation after the cochlear implant surgery which she couldn't skip some electrodes and active the sound processor. So I went for an x-ray. I sent emails to Dr. Weber to ask about the result of the x-ray and he advised that the radiologist is on leave and needed to confirm few issues with him after his return. He promised he will get back to me. However I waited and waited, sent him emails, made phone calls and showed up in person. Then he apologized to me and said he didn't receive my emails and somehow found them in his junk emails. He advised that the cochlear implant is in the right position and everything is fine but that's not true. I went for a second opinion from another ENT and was informed that the internal components of electrode arrays were too long and it touched my facial nerves. 3) Because of Dr. Weber's careless mistake on the cochlear implant surgery, I have to go thru another unexpected surgery to solve the facial nerve stimulation.

Dr. Glaser help my dad after he lost his hearing in his left ear. The evaluation process was quick and painless, the doctor sent my dad to do a hearing test which was done immediately in the same facility, than the doctor set down with us for 20 min giving my dad information about all his options and answer all of our annoying questions. I was very impressed with the doctor's patience and knowledge. My dad was very worried when we came but relieved when we left and that's all that matters to me.

I filed a compliant to the billing office/compliance team about the experience and they ended up on Dr. Glaser's side based on Dr. Glaser's note and opinion. I officially filed a compliant to my insurance provider and hopefully other patient would not need to go through the same experience as I did. Go for Dr. Tandon instead of Glaser.
