Kopec, MD Would Squarely Land Given Her Treatment Of Me and Others I Know. There were virtually no decent dermatologists in Bayonne, NJ. when I first sought care. My 1st. office visit with Dr. Anna Kopec was in 1990. A friend and colleague of mine was seeing her. She was my treating dermatologist for many years. I found Dr. Anna Kopec's demeanor to be rather off-putting. She seemed to be terminally virtually ill-tempered. She never smiled and was borderline nasty. She always seemed like she was playing what I would term "Beat-The-Clock" -- always treating you with one foot out the door, she would race to get as many patients in and out as possible. I overlooked her ill nature and behavior for many ears, but in the latter years, she grew nastier and became abusive in her behavior. It was then I decided to terminate her as my treating dermatologist. I now knew why my friend and former colleague, a former patient of Dr. Kopec, told me 20 years prior that she "she could not stand Dr. Kopec".

I regret that decision every time I look at my botch stomach. Surgery Day Prior to the surgery Dr. Marco Jr. gave me a bunch of pain pills to take (instead of being put under general anesthesia) I watched Dr Marco Jr numb sections of my stomach, break up the fatt and than suck it out of my stomach. The process is quite disturbing. When he injects the fatt into your butt he doesn't numb your butt (to prevent it from swelling) It's extremely painful, and I have a high pain tolerance. After a 6hr surgery he brings a mirror in the operating room to show you your new butt. I immediately started to cry, the amount of pain I endured and the money I spent was not worth it. Dr Marco jr got angry at my reaction to the BBL surgery and he stormed out of the operating room. The nurses got me up to dress me, their was liquid pouring out of my 3 liposuction incisions. I almost collapsed, the nurses through me on the operating table and wrapped a "dog wee wee pad" around me with a ton of tape. I had the surgery on Friday and my follow appointment was Monday. Post Opt Appointment When Monday came around they had no record of my follow up appointment. I waited over an 1 hour to be seen for my follow-up appointment. When you have a BBL you can't sit down, you are pretty much standing or laying down for 3weeks. I was standing in the waiting for an 1hr, not to mention dealing with the pain, physically and emotionally. After surgery the demeanor of the doctor and staff changed, the customers getting consultations become their priority. My follow up appointment consisted of me taken before and after photos. I I told Dr Marco their's still a Noticeable amount fat patches in my stomach.Dr Marco jr. advised me I needed to wait, when I brought up the concern regarding my butt being smaller than what we discussed prior to the surgery. Dr. Marco did want to take responsibility for his botch work, giving me timelines that weren't going to resolve terrible fat extraction, and my butt isn't going to get bigger. Several weeks later my stomach was healing uneven and deformed. Follow-up appointments During a follow-up appointment, I met another patient of Dr. Marco, (in the waiting room) we begun talking about our surgery experience as well as follow up appointments. I told her It honestly been a nightmare dealing with Dr. Marco and his staff. Dr. Marco past by in the waiting room didn't acknowledge me. Dr. Marco senior wife, asked me to follow her into a private room. She began yelling at me, she asked me leave the facility. I am a patient that literally just had surgery and she wants to discontinue services. I refused to leave the office, she threatened to call the police Post surgery it is really crucial that you get the medical attention you need, kicking someone out of the office when they need to get a deep tissue a massage and see the doctor is extremely dangerous and unprofessional. She told me I was not allowed to talk to the other patients. After months of tearful Follow-ups appointments, finally Dr. Marco Senior decided he would perform more lipo to fix the fat patches, but refused to do a fat transfer in to my butt. My second lipo experience was performed by Dr. Marco Senior. I waited in the operating room for 3hrs. It was so freezing and I had not timeframe when the surgery was going to begin. I was given the pills right before the doctor walked in, which didn't give me enough time to work to become fully numb. I did feel a couple needles puncturing skin stomach ( he was extremely impatient) The results of the second surgery wasn't any better. Dr. Marco Senior suggest that I might need a tummy tuck, my stomach has always been flat (I don't have kids/ or extra skin.) My last follow-up Dr. Marco Senior gave me some advice he advice was "don't get fat".

After a few weeks, the rash started to get worse and didn't go away. I sent this place an email with pictures of my face and told them that ever since my facial treatment here, I developed a terrible rash with pimples. They answered the following: 'Hello, This is Jessica from Skintology medspa. I did your facial when you were in our office. It looks like your skin may be having a bit of flareup from rosacea. The products that we use for facials are ZO skincare products which are medical grade.' ... like ok so what if medical grade products were used? They still caused an allergic reaction to my skin. I wasn't expecting to get my money back or anything but I was expecting at least an apology or something from the Med spa. Anyways, I ended up having to go to a dermatologist (another expense and time out of my day) and he said that it did look like a rosacea flare up from the skin care products that they used at the facial. I've been using a steroid cream that was prescribed to me by the dr (also another expense to buy the cream). The rash has not gone away and it's been well over a month. I don't know if at this point it will ever go away. I'm traumatized and I'm never going to get a facial ever again. I'm embarrassed to show my face; I used to have the clearest skin and now it's just a mess.
