This location is very pretty. Very calming. The lighting is great and the premises are clean. Located in a cozy neighborhood in lovely Hoboken. It was rainy and gloomy outside, and it felt very safe and calming inside. I would have loved to spend the whole morning in the waiting room, flipping through magazines and just being in the moment. I was there for a follow up to my lipo surgery and removal of stitches. Premises are pristine and the staff is awesome. The same nurses present the day of my surgery, were there. They were great. Easy check in, easy check out. It was a weekend, so I was not in a rush. I could have napped there. The stitches were removed with no issues, got dressed and another follow up appointment made. The practice is very organized. There are not redundant paper works. Once you become a patient, your info is in both locations and is readily available to the staff. when I went for my consultation in Hoboken, I knew my experience would be great! i was greeted by staff as soon as I walked in the door. The doctor thoroughly answered all of my questions and concerns regarding my procedure. April 7th, I went to the Weehawken office where the doctor performed my eye surgery. In May, I had restylane injected in my eye troughs - the first cosmetic procedure I'd ever had done. In my research of doctors, I thought I had been thorough and decided on Dr. TG Khan of Hoboken and Edgewater. I had found only positive feedback of him online. During the consultation the doctor initially said he didn't think there would be much of a difference if I had the injection done. He didn't elaborate why and, at the time, I respected his candor. I told him I wanted to go ahead with it anyway. He started on my right side where he was decidedly more aggressive than the left. After he finished, I was pleased with the immediate results. The next day I woke up swollen which I assumed was normal. But after the swelling went down a few days later, I was left with pronounced bags under my eyes (a significantly puffier one on my right side) as well as a map of new wrinkles and crepiness. Thank God I wear glasses which hid some of it. When I went back for the follow up, the doctor immediately went on the defensive asking me, "What is it you think you see?" I was flabbergasted, but I calmly tried to talk through everything. He then told me I had absorbed most of the restylane (one month later) and that I actually needed more. More? He also said my face wasn't symmetrical to begin with so one bag being larger made sense. He at no time gave the slightest hint of sympathy or suggested using Hyaluronidase to dissolve the Restylane. I was absolutely disgusted when I left his office. It was his poor technique (injecting over not under the muscle) and his decision to overfill with too much restylane that resulted in the appalling results that I've had to live with for months and pay another doctor to dissolve. Avoid and go to an experienced doctor in the city. PS - after having the treatment done with other doctors, I feel even stronger that you should avoid this man at all costs. read more

I'm new to the area and am very pleased I have managed to find Dr Khan so quickly. After quarantine I was finding it difficult to book in with a skincare professional and was being quoted excessive and exuberant consultation and treatment prices even though I knew what I wanted done. Dr Khan was able to not only see me same day, but treated me at a better price and I was in and out in 25 minutes. I model for work so skin care and upkeep is of utmost importance and I initially came in for freckle removal and ongoing treatment for broken capillaries on my nose. His front of house staff are extremely accommodating and flexible, always working with my sporadic schedule and Dr Khan himself does excellent work with impeccable bedside manner. It's unfortunate that this negative review has to be written. If you are someone who cares about customer service at all, this isn't the place for you. The staff at this facility is truly awful. You can never get them on the phone, no voicemail ever picks up, and then they get your # from caller ID and they repeatedly call you back, over and over and not leave you a vm. Quite irritating. In addition, the have 2 offices. One in Edgewater, and the other that they "share" in Hoboken. But, if you are seen in one office, your files don't get transferred over to the other office, so, if you happen to have a question, while they are in the opposite office, they cant answer it, bc they don't have your file there. Then it takes 3-4 days for them to call you back with an answer. Crazy So, I had a procedure done in the Edgewater office and the work that was done was fine. I went to the Hoboken office 2 weeks later for a follow up, and had to fill out ALL new paperwork (for a follow up??) bc my file was in Edgewater. My appt was for 6:45 (when I made this appt 2 weeks earlier, I was told this was the latest they book appts for the Hoboken office). I arrived at 6:55. There were 3 people in the waiting room, which seemed odd since mine should have been the last appt. At 7:05, she calls another patient to go back for the Dr. I asked this patient what time her appt was, she told me it was for 7:00. When the receptionist came back out, I asked her why a 7:00 appt was being seen before me and she said "The Dr sees them in the order in which they arrive"............What??? HELLO.....do we know the meaning of the word appointment??? So, having had many issues with the staff (when I say "Staff", I think he only has one staff member, as she was the only one I have ever seen, spoken to or dealt with) in the past, I was anxious to see the Dr and discuss this Ludacris policy. I will say, I was quite aggravated at this point. Much like parents who never think their kids are behaving badly, the Dr clearly didn't want to think anything negative about his receptionist. When I told him what she said about the appt policy, he told me he would speak to her, but he said that she had been a long time employee of his. When I asked him how she could be a long time employee, and not know the BASICS of an appt policy, when she is in fact a receptionist, he said "I don't know...why don't you ask her?"......lovely. Meanwhile, all this is happening across the hall from the patient that had the 7:00 appt (who, when I looked across at her was nodding her head at me in agreement with all I had said). There is a lot more to be said, including misdirection by the receptionist for the dosage of some pills I was given after the procedure, but I feel I have accurately depicted the environment and customer service for this particular Doctor read more

Had a couple treatments and have not seen any results and to make matters worse, they stopped calling me for appointment reminders. Waste of money and time. I can't urge people strongly enough to go somewhere else. Not only did this doctor do a horrible job, he also ripped me off and charged me OVER $7,000 for something my regular doctor charges me under $3,500!! During the procedure he told me it would come in under $3,500!! We chatted and I told him about my kid, that I was a single Mom who'd just moved here, it made me sting a little more when I realized he'd ripped me off. I VERY clearly stated, as I always do with a new doctor that "less is more" I used those very words & said I'd rather come back a second time than get overloaded with filler and spend thousands of dollars. He ignored me because ALL this, "doctor" cares about his pocketbook, NOT your face. I asked about prices over the phone & was NOT advised the doctor would charge me the same amount as my first car. He charged another woman $6,000!! She looks like she had a stroke!! Terrible! Please see her review. I also look older from the inept and careless placement of filler. I wish I'd never gone. No doctor has EVER placed filler in the places he did. Very importantly, the botox wore off within WEEKS and it NEVER looked like I'd even had that procedure! I prefer a natural look, I don't want my forehead to appear frozen but this was nuts! Nada!! My eyebrows & forehead STILL moved all over the place-almost NO difference it was SO slight. I've been getting botox very regularly for 15 years, so I know what to expect & how long the effects last for my body. Unfortunately, it didn't occur to me to count the syringes or add up the prices because I trusted....the doctor. Silly me. The secretary was clearly embarrased to tell me how much the doctor charged, she awkwardly pointed to the total on the receipt I should have spoken up! I cried many times over a few months. $7,000 to look like sh-t. A friend who saw me a few weeks after the procedure said, "What happened! What did you do??" Here is my honest review. About a week ago i went in for lip injection . Got a same day appointment and that was great. Doctor came in with the product opened , he suppose to open it in front of you. I specifically asked for restylane silk ,he said he mixed in with lidocaine but seemed a bit sketchy as I don't really know what he used , he never showed me . Immediately after treatment I noticed lips weren't exactly symmetrical and very pale with white spots from lidocaine I suppose, he said it's just swelling but I can still see my lips are not exactly even. Also it's been one week or a little more and it doesn't even look like I had anything done, back to flat lips so I really think he injected mostly lidocaine and I completely wasted $800! It's really upsetting, you go through all that pain, waste time and lots of money for no results! What's unbelievable is that I'm seeing 0 results Dr. I wouldn't want to revisit and risk getting botched. People have a right post their honest reviews. read more

Reading the other reviews, I see some complain about the "customer service". I have been going to Dr. Kahn for over 3 years. Yes, they are not ass-kissing friendly BUT the treatments and results are stellar. Would you prefer a superficial staff; all smiles and winks but have less than pleasant results? I know I prefer to look amazing and youthful and therefore I keep going back to Dr. Kahn. He is a busy man (busier than a one legged man at an ass kicking contest) BUT will work his magic on you. Huge fan of his co2 laser treatments for my face. He does his job correctly, perfectly and you will be pleased. So what if his secretary isn't kissing your butt on the phone? This is NOT Los Angeles. It is New York. Get over it. Now back to me. I had some sun spots: GONE. Skin was starting to show signs of age: Gone. Why bother with expensive creams or facials at a spa (none of those work) when you can go and get real results. No pain, no gain. Dr. Kahn is the best in NJ/NYC area. Dr Taj Khan has been performing Botox, Restylane and Juvederm on me over the past 20 months. He is the best Plastic Surgeon that I have seen for these injectables. I have never bruised with him as I have in the past with other doctors. His bedside manner is also impeccable. I feel comfortable going to Dr Kahn so I have returned over the years from when he first opened an office in Hoboken. He has several sites because he uses a variety of types of equipment. He has excellent credentials. I have been to fine dermatologists who did a lot of cosmetic work, and I think his injection technique is better than theirs. I have never felt he was pushy, but rather straight forward. You never know how your face will react to a new treatment so it is best to let it have time before judging. If I had lots of money I would go more often. He is excellent and I have never had trouble with appointments. He responds to email. I found that if you stay with someone they will get to know your face and what will work best for you. There are no miracles but experience really makes a difference. read more

Went for cheek filler. I asked repeatedly for him to use a cannula since I have very fair skin and bruise easily. He said I didn't need one and basically implied that he done this so many times before I shouldn't question his techniques. (i.e. arrogant) He went ahead without cannula and gave me a horrific bruise that lasted about 3 months, right under my eye. This guy also tries to upsell any product he gives you which says to me he's more concerned about making money than your actual aesthetic. I've been to far better doctors. read more

Dr. Taj Khan is a board certified Plastic Surgeon, FACS, with a great eye for beauty, he listened to my needs and gave me great looking natural results!
