I walked in and instantly knew this was the right salon for me! I was immediately greeted by my new stylist Crystal who asked my name and who my appointment was with. Initially I was nervous to walk through the door because I hadn't been to a salon in almost 4 years. Do to many bad hair experiences i decided to stop damaging my hair and let it grow out. During those 4 years I did not dye or cut my hair. After so much time had passed I was at lose to find a new salon where I could get my beautiful locks back on track. Crystal made me feel right at home as if we were old friends. I explained to her my previous hair trauma and my anxiety about cutting my hair. She was very nice and comforting and most of all listened to my needs! Good communication is an important skill a GREAT stylist must have. The whole process did not take long. Crystal washed my hair and massaged my scalp (my favorite part of the experience) she followed up with a gentle blow dry. Before she began cutting we discussed how much time I spend on average each day styling my hair, what type of hair style I wanted & how many inches I wanted to trim. By this time I was so relaxed I was able to sit back and listen to her styling tips. Since i have very long hair straight hair my curls don't tend to stay in, but with Crystal's suggestions and techniques my curls lasted until I returned home from a night of dancing. I had a very pleasant experience with Crystal. Her suite shop is located on ground floor at a very nice condo complex. The ambiance of the place, her shop, and restroom gave off a spa like feel. Even other businesses and clients were very welcoming when I walked down the hall. I was in town visiting a friend and soon as I walked into Crystal's shop I was greeted with open arms like I've been a long time client. Crystal was very patient and helpful. I was there for 2 hrs, which included wash, conditioning, blow drying, trim, and flat ironing. The time also included a break for me to eat, restroom break, and Crystal taking pics of my hair length by my request. I have natural thick kinky hair...and Crystal knocked that out in no time and my hair never been this smooth. I was VERY impressed. At a point I forgot she was doing my hair because she was so gentle. Gentle is key with natural hair because people rush and damage and can damage my strands. I had been growing my hair for 6months and just had moved to Phoenix i didnt think there was anybody dealing in natrual hair out hear and i thought i mite be out of luck trying to get dreads but something told me to look online a see if there is so i did and this shop AnuMe came up i checked out the photos and read the reviews and it instantly got me excited i called Crystal answerd the phone i introduced my self then it was on that day we set a time for me to come by so she could check out my length of my hair and plan how she would work then we set a time to fit in between my bizzy working schedule. I have never written a review before but been soo happy with this salon I had to write one!!chrystal is the most sweet, caring and patient individual that loves what she does. I had never had human hair installation before and asked a lot of questions before going to see Chrystal who accommodated my schedule after only 24hr notice. I had my hair appt at 9pm and left the salon at about midnight. Given that this was my first human hair install getting the full head, I had the wrong closure and Chrystal tried to make it work. After a week, I told Chrystal I didn't like how the closure looked and she was very patient in guiding me where to buy a good closure. I went back to her and she fixed my hair for me. I'm soo happy with my hair and can't praise her enough. She's soo friendly and makes you feel right at home. The salon is upscale and soo Beutiful. You won't regret calling Chrystal!! I had not had my hair relaxed in a few months and I really needed to get it done soon. I kept waiting and waiting until I finally stumbled upon AnuMe salon. I saw the reviews and immediately knew that I wanted to contact Crystal and talk to her about getting my hair relaxed. I called her and she was very friendly and approachable. She asked me about my hair and I sent her pictures. Then she quoted me an excellent price, especially for hair like mine (very thick and long). I went in to the salon only two days later and everything went perfectly! She was very gentle, worked really fast, and my hair looked amazing once she was finished! I hadn't been in a hair salon in many years so my hair was in drastic need of some TLC. My hair is relaxed but has a lot of breakage so I wanted to get a cut to get it healthy again. I was super nervous because the last time I got my hair cut it was bad. Being bald would have been better than the last cut I had. Let me say, from the beginning, Crystal put me at ease. She was thorough, patient, communicative and very personable. Most importantly, she listened! She knew that I was anxious and worked with me cutting little by little until I was comfortable with the length. We probably went through 4 rounds of "Is this cut short enough? No? Ok shorter," before we were done. She had a good attitude through the whole experience and never made me feel rushed. I am in love with the end result and can't believe that the hair I have now is actually mine. I Googled "black hair stylist, Phoenix, AZ" and found Crystal. I was in town for the Final 4 and had my go to style for my natural hair but REALLY wanted my hair done by a professional since I hadn't seen one since 2010. I called in the morning on 3/30/17, and was actually sitting in her chair within an hour and a half. She was very thorough and fast, (my husband couldn't believe I was done so quickly), even though I got a wash, deep steam conditioner, major trim, (more like a cut b/c my ends were so bad,) and my hair straightened. And as far as the results go MY HAIR IS STILL SUPER STRAIGHT! Sure the edges have curled up b/c of shower water hitting them but even through 3+ days of rain, my sweating and the humidity from showering the rest is as it was when I got it done. I hate to even wash my hair but it's been 11 days so it's definitely past time! lol! If I am ever in Phoenix again you can bet I will be looking up Crystal. read more

I just bought extensions and I needed someone to install them for me and I wanted them done in such short notice. I saw reviews on Crystal on Yelp and even though I never previously had gone to her, I called. I called Crystal on a Saturday night 5 minutes before she closed and she was so kind and sent me photos of her work! The next day I called her back, Sunday, and she was able to fit me into her schedule Tuesday!! I am so in love with the results of my hair. She did a great job. I'm very tender headed and I have to say that the braiding process didn't hurt one bit. She's so personable and you feel like she's one of your friends. Throughout the installation process she gave me tips on how to maintain and take care of my hair which was so very helpful. $200 for extensions may seem pretty extensive but I promise you, Crystal was so worth it! This was my first time at at Sa'Nia Salon, Crystal is a excellent hair stylist. She was very gentle washing my hair, blow drying an silk pressing. She was so smooth I didnt know when she was finished. I have gray hair and gray looks dull and yellowish if not washed with the right shampoos. When I got home and look at my hair in the mirror, I was like she's good and she knows hair. My hair was so soft and my gray was absolutely beautiful, it had a gorgeous silver finish. I loved it. I liked everything about Sa'Nia salon and Crystal. The salon is only 15 mins from me, the location is in a lovely area, the salon is neat and clean and Crystal is very professional, pleasant person and an excellent hair stylist. I had searched for a few months for a salon and finally decided to check out Sa'Nia salon. I first stopped by to talk to Crystal and get an overall idea of what she was able to do with my hair. I've been getting hair extensions done for a long time and I've gone and seen so many different stylist because some have moved some where not to my standard! But I'm so happy I've found crystal she is the best stylist I've ever had! I've never had anyone do my hair like she did! People where coming up to me asking where I got my hair done all the time she made my Extentions look so natural people thought it was my own hair! They lasted about 8 weeks and I could have probably gone longer but my hair (I did not buy from her) started to get thin! Do you have children with thick curly hair, and you want them to look their best?! I recommend an appointment with Crystal at AnuMe Salon. I had taken them to franchises and even Scottsdale. I have even seen the results of some other trusted stylists, but I was truly impressed. The professionalism, speed, quality and care taken was a pleasant surprise. I'm glad I took a chance on this salon. My kids also said that their hair never came out this good. My oldest said that she could finally feel her head underneath her hair when she laid down. Hi! Crystal is awesome! I moved to az alil over a year ago from philly and have been looking for a stylist every since. Im really funny about who I let install a weave on my head. So I was alil nervous about letting someone new do my hair after several trial and errors here in the valley.Then a few days I found crystal at Anu me in Tempe. She is really sweet and made sure I was comfortable she made sure the braids werent to tight and she was even willing to redo them multiple times until it was perfectly comfortable for me. I have gone to Crystal a few times now. I am a Dominican female and I have very thick ethic hair (Afro Latina). She knows how to comb my hair correctly and I feel ZERO PAIN. The process with her blowing out my hair has been completely painless. Most salons try to pull through my curls in an unhealthy way but crystal has had the perfect touch!!! I was shocked at how nice she handles my hair. Ultimately, my hair comes out so slick, smooth and sustainable. I have been going to salons since I was 11 and I am 34 now. Crystal did an amazing job on my hair this past Sunday. First of all where I come from your hair does not get done at a salon on a Sunday. I needed a last minute hair straightening and she fitted me into her already busy schedule and did an amazing job straightening and trimming my natural hair. Today is Thursday and it still looks as good as she did it on Sunday.I am very picky when it comes to my hair. I will redo it when I get home if it is not done right. First I want to start with, Crystal is AMAZING!!! She is so sweet and super friendly. I absolutely love how my hair turned out! I was nervous about getting my hair done by someone new. I have had issues in the past but today was incredible. Crystal was on time and I was the only client she was working on. She did exactly what I asked for (wash and flat iron). I have long thick natural hair (about rib length) and she took the time to comb through my hair in sections. Best of all, I was done and out the door in an hour and fifteen minutes!!! I went to this place today to get my hair healthy before I put my braids in. Nothing fancy. Crystal is so nice and she was on time. Her salon is located in a beauty professional building in Tempe, NOT someone's house! I simply got my hair washed, deep conditioned, a protein treat, trimmed, and blow dried(not in that order). My hair is severely damaged partially to me ruining it with at home relaxers and partially to the very dry phoenix weather. By time I left her salon my hair was soft, healthy looking, and manageable.
