High-end gourmet market and sandwiches. Excellent quality and a huge variety of hard-to-find foods…read more Grocery parking in the back. Handicap access too, and a rear entrance, Outdoor seating available. The Pastrami on onion roll is absolutely delicious. Will happily return. Very similar to Momma Mia market in Spring Valley. Btw, don't 4 get 2 bring ur wallet; you're gonna need it, lololol.

Cool local market that had a wide variety of offerings, from snacks to sauces etc. It was fun…read moreexploring all the aisles and looking at the unique items here. This review is for the experience we had at the deli. If I could give negative stars, I would. It was our first time visiting, and we were unsure of the ordering process (if there were order slips or if we ordered at the counter etc.). When we went up to ask, we were laughed at by three guys who were working. The guy who ended up taking our order made a snide remark about how it's not that hard to order and we don't need to act stupid to get his attention. This was entirely off-putting, and yet we still ordered when we should have walked out then and there. We were taken aback by his remark and after ordering, he scoffed because one of them was vegetarian. He turned to his buddies and said "what's the point of going to a deli if you're not gonna order any meat!", loudly enough that we could hear. The service was god awful that we almost threw out the sandwiches, and honestly could've made a better one at home. Veggies tasted old, barely any cheese, avocado was nasty, and the turkey was way too salty. Won't be back.

I really liked this place located at Liberty Station…read more I had avocado toast which was done well, with marinated vegetables, tomatoes, & sliced thin radishes. I asked for a very thin slice of bread, which they accommodated. Most of the sandwiches which I saw had super thick bread slices --about 3"which, imo is not the proper way to make a sandwich, but it's cost effective----looks big on the plate but filling is small. Busy at lunch on a Saturday, but quality food!

At $15 for the pair, I expected something memorable. Upon arriving around high noon on a Saturday, the café was bustling, which only heightened my optimism. Feeling generous, I left a $20 cash tip at pickup. In hindsight, I should have sampled the rolls first. Visually, they made a strong first impression: a generous swirl, a glossy blanket of icing pooling at the base, and one adorned with plump raisins. Unfortunately, the substance did not match the presentation. The dough was noticeably dry, lacking the soft, pillowy tenderness that defines a truly exceptional cinnamon roll. Even the abundant icing could not compensate for what was missing within. Final verdict: 6.5 out of 10. Respectable, but not remarkable. The ambiance and popularity suggest Con Pane has its devotees, yet these rolls did not earn my loyalty. And so, the search for San Diego's finest cinnamon roll continues. -- Captain 619
