This shop stand behind their work. I have been going to sanford for almost 8 years now. Essentially when they first opened up. They always welcome each and every customer with respect and treat every car with the utmost care as if it was their own. Recently, I had them do apply paint protection film (PPF) on my front end of my Audi TT last fall and due to unforseen failures from the PPF, they told me to come back and in the spring and they will redo it. I did just that and they redid it and it exceeded my expectations. This alone shows me that Leah, Reef and the sanford team stands behind their work. While my vehicle was in the shop, they kept me updated and it was very easy to get updates (via text) and they are always and readily available to answer any questions with a lot of patience! My review change was due to my most recent experience with this location. Disclaimer it's NOT the work that was done, I am very pleased with it as I was the first time around. It's the communication and change in pricing that I am displeased with. When asking a price and conversing about it leading up to the work being done I expect to pay what was discussed and if there has to be an increase in rate for whatever reason then that too needs to be discussed prior to work being done. My personal experience was being quoted one rate and then being charged $50 more because the job was "tedious/ hard" - which ever (tint removal). I don't like to be taking by surprise esp when I mentioned coming in for removal and replacement. Idc if it was $5, it's the principal of it all. Many people like to throw in a curve ball and think it's ok and it's really not. So ! I say all this to say. Yes I am still very pleased with the work, but the communication and changing of rates last min I am displeased with. Not to mention I had to wait an hour after my appointment time was changed last minute on the day of. Do what you will with this rating. The work here is good, but I would definitely confirm pricing more than once. And it's not one of those "if you're broke just say that" situations because that def isn't the case. I have a 10 year old car which I pamper, only I hand wash it and I change the oil every 2-3k mi I did a few services at the shop, and will review each briefly... BUT, the most annoying part wast the constant mishaps that happened , scratched tints, scratches on car, and the part which was really frustrating was when they redid the tint they damaged, and left the car all smudged and car interior dirty.... it's detail car shop, how do you just let a car leave dirty ? Services I did: Ceramic pro: 4 stars : they don't tell you that you CANT use WAX once you apply the CERAMIC PRO.... so that's a heads up Painted calipers: 5 star: no complaints, about a couple hundred dollars Headlight restoration: 5 star ... comes with lifetime warranty ... Car washes-- 2... these are when errors happend scrarches Under the hood detail--- 4 stars So as you they are good at doing the job.... Professional experience @Sanford Auto Spa from the time of booking. Everyone was welcoming and provided a great service for my window/tailights tints, badge removal and were punctual with my appointments. This is not always the case with other vendors. There's also a nice waiting area with coffee that I used while waiting for my vehicle, and I never waited more than an hour at any given time for each of my appointments. Prices were on the higher end of things but I didn't want to take my new car to some of these other places to save a few bucks and find out they dented or scratched my car, or I didn't get exactly what I was looking for. I was referred to John at Sanford Auto Spa by a co-worker and I had to thank my co-worker for the reference. I only went there for my fenders to get rolled, which I should have done from the get go, because I didn't the inner side of the fenders that needed rolling were a bit mangled. John, took his time to straighten them back out then went on his way rolling the fenders. As he was rolling them he knew they needed to be pulled also and went and adjusted them as needed. He did such a great job, no more rubbing at the front and a super happy customer. Very nice guy, and he will be seeing me alot now that I see the other work he does. Hands down best detail shop around. They take care of your car as if it was there own. I remember the last time I was there they saw a little mark u could only see when u look at at car at a certain angel and in a certain light and they didn't just let it go they took the extra 5 min to get it out and make sure the car was 100 percent before leaving.
