Great tasting food, huge portions, very reasonable prices, and great service - Jackie is the best!

Enjoyed some delicious food while sitting outside in the sun. Our service was great. Highly recommend the fish tacos!! Yum!

Everything about this place is average with above average prices because it is in a resort. Average food, average service, average decor, average selections, average wait staff. Convenient if you are staying in the resort but that is the only positive. Throw in the pretentious nature of the guests staying at the resort makes for a one star rating. read more

Excellent food and great service. I ordered the peach arugula salad, but they said the peaches were seasonal and so it would have to be replaced with strawberries...well put that on the menu then. The Warriors game was on the Big Screen when we could not find it on in our room. Another caveat is that it's a tad expensive and we had to wait for a table. Other than the DogFish Head 90 minute IPA on tap, there is no reason to go to Sandy's. The food is horrible, the service is incredibly slow. It's not worth the effort to walk over to the pub. At night you can buy a s'mores plate for the kids for $11 and sit at the fire pit. read more

Just came in for dessert, which was accompanied by friendly customer service. We ordered Sandy's Mud Pie, which was very rich and filling, and the Apple Tart with Ice Cream, which was excellent and fresh. read more

The food is ok, as is the sports bar atmosphere, but getting told it's going to take another 30 mins after being told it would be a half hour wait 40 minutes earlier wasn't ideal, especially after being told that a reservation wasn't required. My family didn't appreciate the lecture on dining speed from the host either. Shame, given we usually enjoy coming to this spot. read more

Service was TERRIBLE. Waiter was nowhere to be seen for the majority of our meal. When I waved to him that we were ready to order, he looked at me, nodded, and proceeded to do nothing about it. After he gave us the check, we waited 20 minutes before he came to collect our credit cards. The food was fine, but was not justified by the price. I paid $7 for wings, although normally they were $14. I got a discount because of Happy Hour. I COULD HAVE HAD BETTER WINGS FROM WING STOP. The food there is NOT worth it. We ate here twice and was impressed by the food. My hamburger was one of the best I've ever had, and on both occasions, our servers were very pleasant and efficient. Their beer selection is full of local offerings and prices were pretty reasonable, compared to restaurants down the road in the village. Our problem was with the blondish/brown haired male bartender working inside the bar on the evening of 7/16. My wife had left our Visa Gift Card at the table. Ten minutes later, when she remembered she left it there, I was sent to retrieve it. The nice hostess directed me to the bartender, and I told him about the card. "Credit card or gift card?" He asked. "Gift card." He returned a minute later, giving me the gift card, but he had to inform me: "It's more of a credit card." No, "Here you go sir" or "I found it for you." Just a "It's more of a credit card," like he just had to be correct and show up the customer. I resisted the urge to point out the "Gift Card" clearly written on it. This may sound trivial, and it is. It's just that I worked in restaurants for years and was always respectful to the patrons. But I'm not sure the whole "The customer is always right" philosophy applies to Sandy's Pub. I'm also not sure if I'll pony up $400 a night hotel room fee in the future, if it means I'm going to have to deal with the resort's swarmy bartenders try to prove me wrong. read more

Great views and overall ambience. But awful food. Ate here twice: carnitas tacos, veggie burger, calamari, and the Thai shrimp. Nothing tasted fresh, and I am never hard to please. Too bad because the resort is fantastic but food not worthy of the surroundings. read more

I am rating this one star for the food. If it was just a bar, it was be 3 stars, as the drinks are okay. I had the white chicken chili, but in actuality it's chicken soup with jalapeños thrown in. I had roasted vegetables, it was pan fried carrots and turnips. If you have to eat here stick to fried food and order lots of alcohol to hide the taste. Maybe the burgers are better. All I know is what my family ordered was bad. We ordered the tacos; bad. We ordered the kids pasta; bad. We ordered the club; bad. Only come here if you have no choice. And, sadly, we didn't after a long days drive and hours of snow play, we just wanted to stay on the hotel property. Our waiter was nice. read more

So, the choices are limited at Squaw Creek. Twin Peaks or Sandy's. Was there on 7-29-17 around 7 pm. The service was so slow it was ridiculous. There were probably more workers than customers on the inside dining room. Watched a family of four get ignored for 20 minutes.... weren't even given water. Finally the lady walks up to the bartender who had just been staring at them and asked for a waitress. Bartender calls her over and she finally takes their order. Meanwhile we waited forever for one drink, never got offered a second one and waited forever for the check. They could do much much better. I've had better service at a truck stop. read more

Great service and ambience. Subpar food. We ate dinner outside on the patio which is BEAUTIFUL, but be warned, when the sun disappears behind the mountains, the temperature nose dives. Even in August, it was chilly. We had nachos and fresh baked pretzels for apps. Pretzels are awesome! I highly recommend....one is enough for two people. The nachos were bad, doused in sour cream, guac, and jalepenos which hid the fact that there was very little chicken on them. "Plain" wings tasted like they had a hot sauce hidden in the breading, and there was nothing mild about it. My fish and chips were three very small pieces of overcooked cod and about a pound of waffle fries. Lastly, my son had a childrens salad that came with an orange vinagrette that was over the top for a five yr old...too fancy for a kids menu. We sent it back for a regular house salad with ranch dressing that was acceptable. We went here based on the previous yelp reviews and were completely let down and disappointed. read more

Surprisingly good for resort restaurant food. I read the reviews prior to going to dinner. I was skeptical but the food was great. service was outstanding. A lot of the staff was college age but I was shocked at their maturity. A really wonderful experience. In our 5 day stay we ate three meals there. Great food with awful, dreadful service. The hostess is utterly incompetent and is incapable of setting proper expectations on wait times. She told us to come back in half an hour to put in for our table , and when I did, she said it would be another two hours. No one should come here until they fix their reservation system or actually deploy one. read more

Great bar with good service and good food. Stayed at the resort for business (3 days) and this was the best food on campus. Had the smothered tots and burgers. Very good service at the bar,they are attentive, knowledgeable and courteous. Watched NBA finals game while we ate and my friends enjoyed the selection of local beer on tap. read more

Ordered the Hamburger. Food pretty good. Service very friendly. Ordered a Bloody Mary, usually great at the other bars in the resort but this one just lacked something. The hamburger was definitely oversalted. Can be noisy, but it is pub. The large screen tv definitely lacks resolution. In fact, kind of hard to even watch a game on the smaller tv's. Do not think they are high def. want a great meal at the resort, go to six peaks grille. read more

WOW! What can I say? Not only was the food JUST what our big family of 6 needed after a long day of hitting the slopes but man was the service absolutely outstanding! Our server (Jackie I think was her name?) recommended the Signature Rodeo Burger and man did she get it right! We ordered 3 at the table and I couldn't recommend it enough after a long day of skiing the fresh powder! We told her to surprise us with a great IPA pitcher and she brought out the Knee Deep Hoptologist 2IPA which was amazing; my sister in law who isn't much of an IPA fan loved it so much she drank the pitcher to herself (dealing with the kids all day may have played a role in downing a whole pitcher to herself HA) and we had to order another one - Jackie sure knows her drinks! Five stars all around for this great post-slopes pub! Hitting this place after a day at squaw is our family's new tradition! Cheers to the food and A1 service! read more

Really bad hospitality in a restaurant at Resort at Squaw Creek,which is supposed to be an upscale luxury resort.I usually am not a fan of negative reviews but the whole experience felt really crappy. I called these guys at around 9:25 pm when my baby girl had a craving for some late night s'more, and was there at 9:35 pm. I was asked to check with the bar,and they said they could do it , after which I waited for another half n hour, and my daughter slept, during which they kept looking but no one showed up. The restaurant/bar didn't even seem busy. Ruined my night after a beautiful ski day. read more

Hotel staff kept raving about Sandy's Pub so I thought it would at least be better than most overpriced resort fare. Not so. It was completely lacking in flavor; steak in steak sandwich was rubbery, kids Mac n cheese was Kraft, calamari was awful w bottled Thai chili sauce served on the side. read more

Sandy's recently changed their menu and it rocks. I had the brisket burger - wow! Talk about a way to satisfy a burger craving. The fries were well seasoned too and not overly salty. Outdoor seating is convenient and fast, and happy hour from 4-6 was a great way to get some snacks in after being at the pool. I eat at Sandy's at least 2-3 times every trip I make to Squaw. read more

overall a very comfortable place to enjoy a meal, sporting events on several large tvs - good place to go for guys i guess. food was just ok, ribs were tender but the sauce was just not very good. server was nice and accommodating, but had to find other staff to help out with my requests moderate prices, would probably go back but just try something else on the menu next time read more

This review is strictly based on the hospitality level at this restaurant in what is considered to be a luxury resort! Our visit to Squaw Creek has been amazing, until we tried to order dinner for take out. I called Sandy's Pub from my room, asked to order and we would pick up, and a person named Heather said they don't do take out orders on busy nights. Huh? Their website clearly says dine in or take out...soooo? I called the front desk, who said they would reach out and have the restaurant make an exception and they would have them call our room. They did not. I decided to walk down myself, the restaurant was busy, but the bar was rather empty, I asked one of the bar keeps if I could place a take out order, he said no problem. Now, while I believe there are times when this type of request can be challenging, the truth is, Heather should be trained properly and told that we don't turn down business! This resort is swarming with families with little kids who don't want to bust down the doors after 7pm...saying we don't do that, frankly is offensive! Your in the hospitality business. Your in a lovely resort...your not representing them very well! Is this really a policy? Do you really turn down business because your busy? So strange! read more
