Whenever I've had a question at the front desk or needed help checking something out, I've never had to wait long. One of the best things about this location is the self-checkout system. It's super easy to use ... you don't even have to scan each book, DVD, or video game individually. Just place everything on the scanner and it checks everything out at once. They also have a great selection of PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch games, which is something a lot of people probably don't realize libraries offer. The DVD selection is solid too. It gives me a little nostalgia of walking through Blockbuster back in the day. Instead of paying for streaming services all the time, I'd definitely recommend supporting your local library. I usually reserve my books, movies, or games online, and they notify me when they're ready. I just stop by, pick them up, and check out. The whole process is really smooth. One time they even called me quickly to let me know I accidentally returned my own video game with the library items, which I really appreciated. Renewing items online is also super easy. As long as nobody else has requested the item, they usually let you renew it without any issues. I personally don't stay long enough to study or hang around, so I can't really speak on the noise level like some reviews mention and rude employee interactions. For what I use it for ... quick pickups and returns, it has been perfect. The parking lot is spacious, and they even have 3D printers available for public use, which is pretty cool. You can also renew passports here, so the library really offers a lot more services than people realize. I've been to multiple libraries in the valley, including the Sahara location, and this library has consistently been one of the easiest and nicest ones I've been to.

Guess we usually come on a saturday, and it wasn't open. Pricing is very good. We didn't find anything. Has well-stocked shelves in many different categories, even foreign language items, which surprised me. I know some languages, other than English. But only fully fluent, about 80%, in one of my mom's languages (she knows four languages, fluently). Noticed that the display cases inside of the main lobby have been moved. This is a pretty large Library.

They had large audio book and DVD selections on the first floor. They had three security guys in the front area. They all were spread out and one of rhe guy was patrolling around which I felt safe. I do wish some people would mute there phones since it is im the library. They had nice artwork fisplay on the way to second floor. Variety of books to read through the second floor. They have a little store with items like drinks and snacks and other stuff you might need . It also sells gas . It has like 5 video porker machines if you wanna play . I got a slurpe and a candy bar and sat on the side where they have a large western mural and some chairs with tables and some books if you want to read something . It is covered and you can just relax and look around the town and the park . The park has clean restrooms also . Sometimes you will see wild burros munching on the grass . Enjoy the quiet and maybe walk around the town . There is even a restaurant there now called Cottonwood Station . I haven't tried it yet .

It's about 12 miles from the Albertsons at W. Charleston and Desert Foothills, where many cyclists park, to Blue Diamond, so it's a popular turn-around spot. We often stop here to use the bathroom (clean), fill up our bottles, and buy some cookies or a popsicle on hot days. They even have free ice, which is very much appreciated when you're sweating like a piggy. If you're lucky, you'll see a bunch of burros who hang out at the park nearby.

Well because I couldn't wait to grab it since I was flying out the next morning and needed it to read for my long flight. I asked one of the cashiers if they had it in stock and where I could find it and she said there was one copy left and where to grab it. I was out the door in the next five minutes. I'm very surprised these book stores are still around since they sell books for much more than Amazon but it was awesome to be able to grab what I needed due to poor planning on my end. I hope they stay in business.

I was invited to attend a Sound Bath here on Friday morning and was so excited to be able to check out this library. It is located in the tiny town of Blue Diamond, Nevada. Blue Diamond sits just outside of Red Rock Canyon. I arrived early as I knew parking was limited. I was kindly invited in once the room had been set up. This library is a one large room broken down into a kids and adult section. A nice couch and easy chairs are there for you to use while looking for your next best read. There were about 15 of us in attendance and we filled the room with our mats, blankets and pillows. This was a great space to hold the sound bath in and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The librarians are super nice and friendly. When I need a quiet place to hide and hang out, I will be coming here.
