After I was refused service, I called the salon from my car and attempted to book an appointment as a new client. On the phone they did not mention any appointment issues and they said I could come in right away. I'm a Black/African-American woman, and it is clear they were not too booked to take me for a simple pedicure. The salon just did not want (or care) to patronize me in their establishment. I'm 33 years old, and in my life I have never ever been refused service or treated with such overt prejudice. My advice - if you are Black, a person of color, or if you care about people who are Black or POC, do not come here.

The place is very nice inside, lots of nails colors and polish to choose from. They have comfy massage chairs for the pedicures. My issue with this place is I felt like they were rushing. Well, they were. It was a little busy. My pedicure was great! I loved the massage I got and the hot stones that were used, that was a first for me. I hadn't had my nails done in almost two years and it's been way longer since I've had a pedicure. I was expecting better quality for the amount of money I paid. It's only been a week and the shilac (not sure that's how it's spelled) I got on my nails is already chipping!! Thought it was "suppose to last longer". I went in to get my eyebrows waxed. They asked immediately if I wanted a pedicure too, and I said no thank you. The staff was incredibly rude after that. After a long wait, I was brought back to the "waxing room" that is a bench with random beach towels on it that were not changed between customers. I had a bad vibe at this point, but I had come this far and needed it done. A minor error is one thing but this was a MAJOR screw up like she did not have a clue on how to trim a head of hair.
