They have the biggest vegan selection I've ever seen, it's awesome. All sandwiches come hot/toasted unless told not to. I love a toasted sandwich it reminds me of Quiznos but they have a way better selection at this place. I believe they have 176 different sandwiches. So there is literally something for everyone. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner yesterday he was so nice and really geared towards giving great customer service. They were slammed and the staff was a little frazzled which is understandable when your short staffed and have orders piling up. Orders come from the counter, online and threw the Uber eats or post mates I can imagine it's a little overwhelming. I'm a sandwhich fan and have high standards so I didn't expect too much out of this unassuming restaurant. WOW was I blown away. High quality ingredients, winning combinations of bread, meat, cheese, veggies and sauce. I rarely if ever give 5 star reviews. Sandwhich Masterz is by far the BEST sandy in Arizona. I have to point out how gracious and friendly the owner is - he made it a point to stop by the table to see how we liked our sandwiches. I love a good Reuben.....I make it a point to order them at restaurants to see if "they've got the right stuff". Sandwich Masterz makes an excellent Reuben! Great meat, tasty sauerkraut, excellent bread, good "secret sauce". Across the board, of all the sandwiches we ordered, everyone commented on how good the meats were - great tasting, fresh, and the sandwiches are HUGE - we probably could have shared and still been full. My first time, and not my last. My only problem was choosing! They have a lot of choices and I didn't want to choose the wrong thing. Plus, my husband got the French dip and I couldn't order the same thing as him, I needed to try something different. I got a turkey delight. It came with bacon and avocado and turkey. The turkey was very moist, very fresh and for a bonus twist, it was not deli meat turkey. I chose the French bread and the pesto added to it. I enjoyed it all. I even dipped it in hubs au jus. Yum! Hubs got the French dip and it was really juicy and flavorful. I like that they toast it, and that the sandwiches are all hot, unless you request it cold. I kept asking if things came out crunchy, and the bread crunched just perfectly. The man at the counter was the owner, I think, and he was very kind and made sure I was happy with my choice. I think he could sense my inability to make a choice. Lol which wasn't bad, it was just a long day for me and I didn't want to pick something I didn't like. I appreciated that he followed up with me to make sure I was happy. I'd recommend coming here for a sandwich over going to the deli at Safeway or Fry's. read more

Stumbled upon this place while out with my daughter running errands. The staff were so friendly. I ordered the Beverley Hills and my daughter got the BLT. Was headed back to LA when I had asked my cousin (a student here) a place to pick up something to eat. My wife and I had decided on Potbelly, a place she hadn't been to and I had only been to once in DC. As an afterthought, my cousin suggested Sandwich Masterz, which wasn't near his home but just off the highway in the proper direction. Looking at the menu, I was somewhat intimidated....well, that's not the proper word, but it was a bit too much to figure out from so many sandwiches. To keep it easy, I decided on a traditional Italian sub. The sizes are a bit unconventional, so the largest they have is not so much in length as much as in girth (am I gonna be censored here?)--much more meat was smeared between the two pieces of bread. That's what my wife had, natch. Me? I had the regular one with the average amount of meat. I happened to ask about a Philly cheese steak and what kind of cheese they used, and that led to a discussion about steak sandwiches and how every joint under sun calls their sandwich a Philly cheese steak when it's not an authentic Philly--why not just call it a cheese steak sandwich? I grew up near Philly so I know, but few do....but the owner here does. He's kinda a purist to a fault, which tells me he loves sandwiches and wants you to love what he does. We did! If I have one complaint, it's that the bread for the hoagie I ordered was a soft French, not Italian. That's prob a logistical issue with Phoenix, but an Italian sub should have Italian bread. Most people won't fuss about that. There are other bread choices as well. I also should give a heads-up in that many (all?) sandwiches are toasted unless specified. In my world, a good Italian hoagie is cold, though I nonetheless enjoyed the toasted sandwich. In sum, a fine place with a mind-boggling assortment of sandwich choices made by a guy who's a stickler for authenticity. read more

My Ruben sandwich would have been great had it not been rolled up like a burrito. Why you would destroy a beautiful, tasty age old Ruben by rolling it up into a soggy mess that can't be eaten. The soda machine needed cleaned, you could see slime on the nozzles, serious health issue. You can tell you are in an old Quiznos, no attempt to update or change the identity. As far as the menu it's stupid large. I would think having all those varieties would be an inventory nightmare. How could you keep that many different meats fresh? I'm not sure about this place so I won't be back. It's Quiznos 2.0 with a hundred choices. But if they don't clean the soda machine every day I wonder about their slicer!!! read more

The best sandwiches!! So glad we stopped in here today. All the ingredients used were top notch. We will be getting sandwiches from you guys regularly after today. It might be impossible, but we want to try every sandwich on the menu! We had roast beef, Turkey, ham, and an Italian, but the vegan menu looks amazing also.
