It turns out my card didn't work when I checked in. BUT I found out about it in a very rude manner and AFTER I CHECKED OUT. Teach this woman to speak to customers POLITELY! We go on vacation to have positive emotions and we don't want to waste our nerves on people who were poorly raised. Dear owners of this wonderful KOA, please fire the rude employees! This is simply nonsense! If my card didn't work when I checked in, how did I get the key and how was I able to live in a cabin? She also forgot to scan two bottles of Pepsi, and before that, she forgot to scan marshmallows and a bundle of firewood. The employee is inattentive and rude, raises her voice, and behaves insolently and aggressively. It's their fault they don't know how to process payments properly. Also, during my two days at the KOA, they sent me two strange messages, not the most pleasant ones. This employee ruined our vacation! We're leaving stressed and in a bad mood, with bad memories of this place.

This is our favorite place to camp. We have spent a week here the last two years in our Rv. Last…read moreyear we brought our teenagers and dogs and this year we came alone for a romantic week away. We kayak and canoe and love the fact that we can launch from our campsite. The marina is also nice and has docks that can be rented cheaply for paddle craft. This year, we had a beautiful and spacious site right on the river. I literally woke up and could see the river right outside our bedroom window. Wonderful! The staff is friendly and helpful and the campground is quiet, especially during the week. They have WiFi now and this year started an online reservation system, so you can pick your own site. The only drawback is that there's no sewer hookup for overnight campers, but this is made up by the very reasonable rates and the perfect location. If you kayak, you need to try this campground.

I normally stay in my own camper for 10 days plus this trip was only three nights so I decided to to not bring a camper and stay in one of there tiny homes... first one key for three adults ! Patio furniture was absolutely filthy, bedroom door wouldn't latch and would not stay closed vent in bathroom leaks when raining hard .. it's over the toilet so just opened lid and it dripped in toilet. Shower was small no night stands or anything in bedrooms other than linens. Worst part one key !! Got separated from group in complete downpour and stood outside of tiny home waiting for them in the rain . Asked office if they had another key or could let me in I was told No .. disappointed to say the least. I would recommend staying in your own camper here

I've been going to Cedar Point for 30 years, never would I have considered staying at a KOA in all…read morethe years. We probably could've stayed in the cabins and still pay way less than any hotels around town. I could not believe how close this was to CP. We literally turn out of the KOA and was at the light where the giant sign is in less than 60 seconds. The grounds were clean and our spot was very centrally located and it has a paved patio, a gliding bench, built it fire-pit, table with chairs and umbrella. We were easily able to come back to the campsite in the middle of our trip to eat lunch then go back instead of paying $20 for hot dog and fries, which was another big plus. I was also super impressed with the amenities. It has a pickleball court, which I've never seen before but definitely worth noting. Because it's one of their Halloween weekends, they had trick or treating, a mini carnival games thing that sells food and include games like tire toss where you're tossing heads into the tires, etc. At night, after it got dark, they literally set up a haunted house, which apparently was pretty awesome. I stayed back to watch the dogs, but I could definitely hear screams and clowns banging on some metal barrels and made it pretty legit. Being October, their 2 pools were obviously done, but there were 2 pools! We're definitely staying there again when we go back.

He also had a very nice gift for my daughter. We had VIP service, and Corey found out we were in town for a funeral, had a very nice gift for my daughter to make the trip a little easier for her. Room was immaculate. No complaints there. I mean, just immaculate. All the VIP service this time was phenomenal. Definite upgrade from when we were here in May '25. Seemed to have got their feet under them, and exceptional VIP service. Dealt with Aaron on valet a lot. He was phenomenal. Customer service, showed me around the VIP lounge after hours, just grade-A representative of the company. But by far the best interactions we had were with Darius Watson, the bellman/valet. Not really sure what his position was, but best customer service that Kalahari has ever had has come from Darius Watson. Otherwise, absolutely fantastic trip. Everything was grade-A perfect.

This is a nice state park with camping, the Glacial Grooves, a beach, some boating facilities, a…read moreshower house, hiking, and public bathrooms. Plenty of parking for cars, boat trailers, and golf carts. We were there on a Friday afternoon, so it wasn't super crowded and everyone was kind of spread out across the beach. We saw a blue heron, and my friend fell asleep on her towel. We also went back to hike some of the North Loop trail. A good time was had by all, minus the incident with the poorly behaved off leash golden retriever. There's almost always one of those, though..... Note that the beach is not technically dog friendly, but there were a few there.

We saw some great wildlife on our walk - turtles, water snakes, and raccoons. There are some rougher latrine style restrooms available near the beach. We camped here 4th of July weekend and had a great time…read more This is a big campground with several sections. The signage makes it easy to find your spot. I will say the spots are somewhat smaller compared to other Ohio state parks we stayed at. The slots are not angled so it can be tricky to back in. They do offer lots of pull through options. Inside the campground there is a boat launch, lots of extra parking, shower houses, camp store, game room, and nature center. They don't offer a lot of activities but there were a few. My kids just loved riding our bikes up to the beach and playing in the lake. There is a nice bike bath that makes it easy to get there. There is no food in the area so bring your own or be prepared to drive.

We knew going in it could would crowded and a bit noisy and that has not changed but we could live with it. This year we were on a site that bordered an access road literally 20 feet from our front door( site 216). We have camped here on this site a few times in the past and had no problem but this year one Camper host three or four times a day drives past not slowing down and leading his large dog. First it is a danger to any who is in front of the camper and also with his fast speed and running dog gets every dog around upset. Please address this situation

The small pond had no fish (as I heard they all died due to an aeration issue), but my 4 yo still had fun tossing his fishing pole in the pond.
