I'm surprised to be the first to review a restaurant that's been around since 1944, but happy to do it.
This is located in a non-touristy upscale part of town. I was passing by, hungry, and met a large friendly dog in their nicely blocked off outdoor seating area. See photos.
They have a fairly extensive tapas and ala carte menu, including a rare paella that can be ordered for one person.
The nice waitress apologizes for being late with the bread, because it was still baking. As indeed it was.
As in most places. The menu del dia is the best value and quite good. It's not in danger of a Michelin Star, but pretty good. Portions are large, some of these menu lunches could feed two, but I think that isn't done.
A starter (mine was a full bowl of gnocchi) a main (fresh local fish and two roast potatoes) with a drink (wine, beer or soft), desert (choice of cakes, and fruit salad) and coffee. For under 14 euros, tax and service included .
Nice spot to chill and write yelp reviews. Alas, the nice big brown lab left already. read more
