We were at a friends and needed to get some dinner so we all decided to find somewhere…read more Our friend lives about 10 mins from here and said we should try it She was so right. The place was awesome. I'm judging from small town feel where everyone knows everyone. They didn't know me of course but they made you feel welcomed and wanted. My initial reaction was oh it looks small But once you get inside it really opens up I chose the fajita chicken wrap with fries and gravy. Amazing food. I didn't hear a single complaint from the table which is very rare One server so if it's busy. Be patient. It's a small family run business and it says they are hiring on the board at the entrance!! I took my pictures of my food like I normally do then tried to put them on yelp. The restaurant wasn't listed. I've added it and requested it be reviewable from everyone. Hopefully if you're reading this you'll give them a chance!! It's amazing. Trust me. Oh and to top it all off. Right as we're leaving. The friend we were with sees a guy named Steve. He owns the joint with his wife I'm assuming. He goes inside and grabs some balloons. Then blows one up and low and behold makes my daughter a freaking poodle out of it!!! She was amazed and asked if we can go back and get a kitty!!!

You have to go to sample the excellent home cooked meals. Prices are very reasonable. They also do an excellent job of catering. Never had a bad review, from anyone that I have recommended to go.

I gotta say this was a nice find. We were out and about. Wanted some dinner. Started looking around…read morefor a close place. And found this place. We got there around 5:00p on a Saturday. People already eating and drinking. Deceivingly large. Walk in and bar is to your right. To the left are tables and such. We went to the bar. The bar had a good amount of people. We ended up close to the windows on the other side. It was fine. Bartender came right over. They have a good selection of alcohol. Flavored vodka's. I got salted Carmel with coke. Delish! Kathy got cucumber vodka and sprite. Very refreshing. We got menus and asked bartender to recommend some items. He said wings good, burgers good, chicken and waffles and Mac and cheese. Funny we didn't get any of those. Kathy got the brisket dinner. I got the rueben with a salad. Both good. And prices were good too. They came out in about 10 mins. Salad was good. The Rueben was hot . I ate half. Good amount of corned beef not too skimpy. Kathy's. Brisket looked amazing. And it was good. Brisket tender with side of baked potato and broccoli. BBQ sauce on the side. And a loaf of bread. All for $12.99. She ate half and took home too. It was good and filling. Bartender was nice and informative. Place had a good mix of people. Looks like a nice hang out. Prices were good. Drinks good. Can't complain. I'd definitely go back and try something else.

In response to Milen D's recent review of Firestones(which I witnessed)…read more I honestly can't decide what's more embarrassing: your experience at the restaurant or the fact that you thought this review was worth posting. You apparently walked in expecting the entire establishment to revolve around your very specific demands, got disappointed, called someone a "clown," accused them of lying, and then produced this barely decipherable masterpiece of nonsense. The staff didn't fail you--you failed to understand where you were, what they offered, and apparently how restaurants work. And judging by the grammar and coherence of this review, I'm not sure you were in any condition to be evaluating anyone else's performance. Being unhappy with a meal is one thing. Throwing a tantrum because a restaurant didn't conform to whatever bizarre expectations you had in your head is another. Do everyone a favor next time: stay home, lower your expectations, and let the adults enjoy their dinner without having to witness another episode of The World's Most Confused Customer. The restaurant got one bad review. You got permanently immortalized as the person who wrote it. I'd say one of those is considerably harder to recover from.

Firestone's Kitchen…read more This was the BEST pizza I've had in Erie as a traveller looking to settle here. I've tried 3 others, mostly very flat on crust or flavor (all independent places). Firestone's pizza has an excellent char, solid sauce and flavorful toppings. The restaurant also has a beer/wine store, and a eye pleasing meat counter/butcher. I have no complaints - friendly service, fair priced pizza for excellent quality, and the liquor section has some charm to the decor. ***From the road, look for Gordon's (even though Firestone Kitchen is the eatery). Gordon's is more prominent from the road.
