My husband and I went for a date night and played squid games. I was not expecting the characters to be our heights and my character looked like a hobbit and my husband look like a giant! It was so funny! I enjoyed the experience! I would go back if the price is right, I know it's a little pricey so it won't be a common occurrence. The staff was very pleasant, made sure we knew what we were doing and patient. The place seemed really well kept and looked like it had 4 different rooms to use at a time. They have a bunch of different games to choose from as well. They gave a link to a small video of our experience in the room. That was fun, too! read more

I survived Squid Game... barely. If you've ever wondered what it feels like to betray your friends under pressure while screaming in a headset--look no further. Sandbox VR gave me everything: adrenaline, chaos, and a front-row seat to my own fight-or-flight response. From Red Light, Green Light to that terrifying glass bridge (you'll see ), I was fully immersed--and slightly unwell. The VR gear was super realistic, the staff was friendly and hyped us up, and yes, I definitely squatted more in one hour than I did at the gym all week. Would I return? Absolutely. Would I survive next time? Doubt it. Pro tip: Stretch beforehand, and choose your teammates wisely. read more

Super fun!! I recommend this for date night or bday party or just something to do away from the norm !! Beware, if you like to get super interactive you will be sore lol ! Price is ok definitely a treat at 60 a pop but worth it !! Also the headphones weren't working as far as in game comms with my teammates and that sucked cuz I was trying to make call outs :/ hence the 4 stars .. other than that .. I love it and will be back! If it happens again with the comms idk I probably would complain next time and get a compensation cuz that's why you're there is to have fun with your friends !! read more

1000% do not recommend this place for hosting a party. From the start, trying to schedule the event over email was frustrating. There was a lot of back and forth, only for them to "forget to follow up with me," which pushed our booking back by an entire month. When the party day finally arrived, we were told that we had not booked the package that included food. This was extremely frustrating because I was very clear in my emails that I planned to serve pizza, drinks, and cake. Instead, the $55 food and drink fee apparently covered snacks from Japan (which were actually kind of cool) and water. The clean up fee for having food is another $50. When we arrived, the initial assistant was amazing. They acknowledged that they "always have issues" when people book through corporate and genuinely tried to fix the situation. Unfortunately, their shift ended shortly after, and left. Maybe I'm used to other venues where you have a dedicated host, but ours disappeared soon after the games ended--walking away from what would have been a generous cash tip. There is no designated party room, and there was very limited seating for parents. We were placed in a corner walkway, which felt cramped and inconvenient. When the kids were done with the games, they sat on nearby benches, only to be yelled at by another employee for sitting in the "wrong" area. Since those benches were closest to our table, I reasonably assumed they were available for our group. It made the experience feel awkward and unwelcoming, as if hosting our party was a burden to all of the staff. The rest of the time there we never received a smile or greeting from any staff besides the initial person. I even brought extra drinks and pizza for the staff as a thank-you, but I ended up giving the extra box to our guests instead. My daughter even cut a slice of cake for the host but after she couldn't find her she just left it in a break room. The place itself is cool, but I would not recommend it for large groups or parties. read more

Our first visit here was surprisingly great! Not knowing what to expect, I invited my lil fam and mom. She hates scary stuff so we chose the curse of Davy Jones, which appeared kid friendly. I wasn't able to see the preview on the website, but turned out she couldn't attend. Thankfully we were able to switch up the game and kiddo chose deadwood phobia. In this psychological horror type game... you run into zombies in some medical facility ..looking to save some team members taken..,walls close in (claustrophobia),you run into zombies , nasty clowns appear (coulrophobia), more zombies, large nasty hands come out to touch you (Haphephobia?) , zombies, moving left, right, ducking, watching your 6... ZOMBIES lol got to boogie down at the end. We were given a link with video clips to remember and share the experience. Fun time! read more

We were greeted by Miss Yasmin, super sweet very patient with us and thoroughly explained the entire process. I decided to take my son and my husband with me because they both are gamers and I figured they can compete against themselves and I would just be a standby but instead we all joined in Yasmin helped us get set up. We were excited but optimistic on what to expect. I have to say we had a great time. I really felt like I was emerged in the game. We played squid games and it was really fun. I'm not that good at it, but I did give it a good shot. If you go, I suggest you wear something light shorts and some tennis shoes because it does get very hot in the room. You have the vest on plus the goggles plus the earphones they do have fans, but it still got really hot afterwards they give you these cute little videos that you can use to post of all the different games and then they highlight the winner. It's a really cute place. I would definitely go again With a bigger group. I think this is a great team building location. Thanks yasmine for a great time. read more

I LOVED THIS PLACE. It was an awesome experience. I was worried I would get dizzy or feel strange but this VR was very comfortable to play. It was expensive to play for such a short time though . We paid 120 for less than an hour of actual game play for 2 people. We played the game with the dragon and I think I was a good choice. I got super sweaty playing this game and I am a runner so it's Def intense. I had a great time here. I Def wanna come back and play the other games, but it's pricy. It's definitely a must try experience tho. read more

Amazing experience! I've never done VR before and was unsure if what to expect. The second we walked in we were greeted and escorted to the digital sign in. The girl was super nice and answered all of our questions. She took us to the back and explained everything in great detail. The game was so fun! We did a zombie one. After it was over another girl came and helped us get undone. She escorted us to the front where she showed us our videos and gave us our extras. It was overall a very cool experience. read more

First off it is very expensive to not have had the best experience. Our room was moved over because of malfunctions, it took over 45 mins to get us started from when we first got there. They handed us vests etc that were still sweaty from the previous party- they tried to say they cleaned them off but we never saw that. Also we had to reenter our info and explain which guns we wanted to use multiple times because of the system issues and in the end atleast two of us out of 6 ended up with guns we didnt want to use including my son the birthday boy and they didnt think to mention it until the game was over so I was left unaware. I most likely wont be back. Too many issues. read more

Wow!! It is an unbelievable experience! I was in San Antonio for the winter, and I went to go try out sandbox VR. I was thinking about doing the Amber sky 2088 one and it was pretty fun. It was really immersive, especially with the fans and stuff. The guy who was helping out was really nice. It was a very unforgettable experience! If you're in the Dominion area in San Antonio, I would definitely recommend at least trying it out! read more

I found this place on tiktok. I was looking for something fun to do with my sister. Tiktok had a promo and so I took up the offer! This is a new spot to take your friends and dominate some zombies! Elijahwan was our host for the experience. He was wonderful he took care of us! Our end of game photo wouldn't load and was advised I'd get a email of it. He provided a great experience! This was super cool! Super fun! Girls if you're coming make sure to wear comfy clothes! It will get your adrenaline pumping and you will sweat lol! Must try it out! My husband and I made a reservation for 10pm, I guess because it was the weekend we thought there would be other guests but there wasn't. So it was just him & I playing the squid games. The first worker that approached us was energetic & friendly the girl that gave us all the instructions not so much. She seemed annoyed when we didn't understand an instruction she gave us and also felt like she was rushing us. Being late I guess I understand it was the end of the end and she probably wanted to just go home. As far as the game & the experience it was just OK. Idk if it would have been different if we had other players with us or not but the games are kind of boring and it goes by really quick. My friend and I bought gift cards for our husbands. We tried to make the reservation online but end up calling and doing it over the phone. There is some kind of kink in the system that won't let you redeem it online. They did say we can just show up but our times wouldn't be guaranteed. That said aside, the actual experience itself was great. We did Deadwood Valley. So much fun!! They even share several live videos that are hilarious! I saw someone complain about it in a review but lots of other places would upsell you that stuff. The fact that they included the footage was amazing. You will be sweaty at the end! We will be coming back for sure. I will say that the workers were friendly but Lessley could use a little more positivity in her life. She seemed dull. We were happy that a young gentlemen took over. He was very fun and engaging. He had a little moustache/beard and longish hair. Restrooms were super clean too!! read more

I'm giving a sympathy star for the fact that I have played VR sports in a professional environment so I'm also promoting the growth of this movement. When you come into this establishment, expect the same welcoming embrace as you get with your favorite Escape Room. This is the perfect experience to have when you have a group of friends without having that "clusterphobic" vibe. The VR equipment is by Vive, so you have a decent field of view but it makes up for it with the feet trackers. The face guard should be upgraded with the silicone add-ons to promote easier and better sanitation and increase the lifespan of the guards. The game was pretty fun, we chose the zombie one, and the after game credits was a treat. The location itself also pretty allocated to its surroundings, you just have to know how to navigate the Rim. At $55 a person the price isn't too bad, but with the little hiccups here and there in game there's definitely room for improvement. Overall 4/5 stars for tiny fixes, but the +1 for my own bias. read more
