Wednesday evening is the first time we visited the restaurant at Sand Hollow golf course/resort. Excellent service, top notch cocktails, but the ambiance is seriously lacking. Thank you for cloth napkins and table top pepper grinder but hold the operating room lighting! I'm speaking to the manager! Handel it! Don't be an amateur! This place should be FULL at 7 pm. Don't you know there isn't anywhere to go out in this town that's half way better than Domino's? Please show the appreciation to your given customers ( all the homeowners in the beautiful community) by dialing in the details. Now as for our dinner: Husbands pasta was on point- love the toasted bread - it was just the right amount and my chicken piccata was so creamy, full of flavor and even better- juicy chicken!!! The veggies were drenched in too much butter ( soupy) And mashed potatoes were also soupy, but both items were well seasoned. A spectacular place to stay, we had no issues at all. We were even able to check in a little early to our room! The rooms were enormous and the bathrooms were large too! The kitchen had all the utensils, pots and dishes to make and enjoy homemade meals. The pool was so inviting especially on a hot summer afternoon. There's a back patio too with a grill and patio furniture to lounge around. The Sand Hollow Resort made it so easy to settle in and unwind. We were only a 5 minute drive away from Sand Hollow State Park where we enjoyed the fireworks and swimming. This resort also has a volleyball court, golf course, pickleball court and even a fitness center. read more

Stayed in a three bedroom three bath condo for a golf trip. The place was huge. Plenty of space for at least 5 or 6 people. The patio was very nice and it has a huge sliding glass door that you can open across the whole living room. Lots of TVs. Big kitchen area. Good water pressure. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT My husband (26M) and I (26F) stayed at Sand Hollow for our delayed honeymoon the first two nights of our week long time down in southern Utah. We are active golfers and we both played in college. We played the championship course and the 9 hole. Golf course was great but our stay not so much.... We left Monday morning and I forgot my wallet in the room. Miscommunication between my husband and I on who was going to double check the room, no one's fault really. They didn't contact us until Wednesday morning about the wallet and upon receiving it all our vacation money in it was gone. $740. That's a lot of money for us and this vacation was definitely our splurge. ie - delayed honeymoon for a reason. Upon picking the wallet up on Wednesday, my husband first asked if anybody stayed in the room after us (maybe a guest?) would explain the reason for the delay in us being notified. No other guests after us so only staff handled the property and room was cleaned same day. We then informed them that there was money missing and how much. Management said they would open an investigation and would give us a call on Thursday. Now we are not naive enough to think we were going to get the money back but at the end of the day, we did get money stolen from us. It's a terrible feeling. We called them Friday afternoon not hearing anything on Thursday. Manager was out of office. Monday was Memorial Day so we gave the grace of a couple days given Memorial Day and nothing. No calls from them. We follow up the following Wednesday (now one exact week since we picked up the wallet) and it was very apparent from the conversation they had no intent on calling us for an update. Definitely our fault for leaving our property (which is the first time this has ever happened to us) but be warned, don't stay here. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately that's where the positives end. When we first booked Sand Hollow Resort, the staff and our coordinator Miranda seemed very professional. As the months went by though, communication completely fell apart. After multiple emails, we would only get responses days later, if at all. On our wedding day, the staff was incredibly unorganized. My groomsmen and I had to rearrange the ceremony chairs ourselves because nothing was set up correctly. The bathrooms reeked of urine and sewage, and I personally went out to buy Febreze to try to make it bearable, which didn't help much. During the ceremony itself, things looked beautiful, but afterward it went downhill again. While we were away taking pictures, the bar refused to serve drinks, even water, and the lawn games we planned weren't brought out until about 40 minutes later. When we finally sat down to eat, I was the first to get food, and my steak was ice cold, not even lukewarm. Every dish we tried was the same. To make matters worse, we found out that the staff changed our menu items without asking us. Apparently, the batch of roasted potatoes they planned to serve was moldy, and they decided to swap them out without saying anything until after they had already served some. At that point, we had no idea if what was on our plates had come from that same batch or not. We brought these issues to management afterward, and the response we got felt like a complete slap in the face. My in-laws spent far too much money on this wedding to be treated with such poor service and disregard. My wife and I will never get this day back, and it's heartbreaking how poorly it was handled. Let's start by saying that The Rock Bowl venue itself was beautiful and made for a wonderful setting for our daughter's wedding ceremony. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The catering, service, bathrooms, and communication throughout the planning process and event were absolutely disappointing. We booked the venue in January 2025 with Miranda and her assistant, the events manager at the time. She came across as confident and experienced, assuring us she had managed many weddings at this location and that everything always turned out great. We left that first meeting feeling excited and optimistic. However, as the months went on, communication became a major problem. We were not informed when the person we were told to email was no longer employed, meaning several important messages went unanswered. After multiple attempts and several phone calls, we finally got back in touch with Miranda. We eventually scheduled a tasting to decide on our food selections. The food at the tasting was impressive -- well seasoned, hot, and nicely presented -- which made us hopeful for the big day. Unfortunately, what we were served during the wedding was the complete opposite. The food arrived cold, as if it had just come out of the refrigerator. Other major issues included: Appetizer's were delayed and were only served due to brides mother having to get involved Games that were supposed to be set out for guests after the ceremony but didn't happen until we got back from pictures 40mins later. The bar refused to serve drinks -- even water -- for a period of time. Table service was nonexistent: glasses were left flipped over and were never filled. Restrooms were unacceptable -- there was a foul odor throughout the venue, and the men's urinals were overflowing. Dirty dishes and leftover food sat on tables until the end of the event, even after multiple complaints. When these issues were brought to staff members' attention, we were repeatedly told, "We'll take care of it."Unfortunately, nothing was ever taken care of. Most of the servers were seen sitting behind the bar on their phones instead of working. To make matters worse, the shuttle service that was promised never ran as scheduled. Elderly guests were forced to walk from the Rock Bowl to their cars, and even the bridesmaids had to walk from the 10th tee back to the venue after photos because the shuttle wasn't operating. The following day, we met with the event manager's supervisor Brent, who initially appeared very remorseful about what had happened. However, that sympathy quickly turned into disappointment when he presented us with an offer that felt like a complete slap in the face -- an unreasonably small and dismissive gesture that did nothing to make up for the disastrous service we experienced. Overall, the lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability completely overshadowed what should have been a joyful and memorable occasion. The Rock Bowl has potential as a beautiful venue, but until management seriously addresses these issues with their staff and operations, we cannot recommend it to anyone planning a special event. read more

We took a family once-in-a-lifetime cross country trip. Sand Hollow Resort being our midway stopping point for 2 nights. I booked MONTHS in advance & confirmed several times that there would be a pool at our unit as I have a 54 yr old sister with Down Syndrome who has failing eyesight so moving her around is difficult for her & this would be her last vacation. Each time I was assured there was a pool outside our unit. At checkin we were informed the pool in front of our unit was closed for rennovations. I asked for other accommodations & was denied. When I complained to the manager, Taylor she rudley replied via email (not even a personal phone call) that there are "two other pools on property" and that no compensation would be given as the matter was not their fault & out of their control. She closed the rude email with "the matter is considered closed." A phone call in advance would've been nice so we could've reconsidered our options or perhaps reserved a different room at the resort. Taylor most likely does not have failing eyesight or special needs based on her cold hearted response to my request to accommodate or compensate. Walking my sister around the resort looking for a pool or loading her up in the car to drive around to another pool is harder than one may think, not to mention unfair to her!!! DO NOT STAY HERE if you support people with special needs. As a side note, there are notes posted by all of the thermostats not to turn the AC below 72 degrees or the unit may freeze up & a threat of a $100 maintenance fee wrapped up the request nicely. Let me tell you the unit was HOT!! Also, the walk-in shower door does not open the whole way as it is hung too low for the tile making it hard for someone to assist a special needs person. The bed frames are too large for the beds causing a tripping hazard & several stubbed toes!!! We attended The Tribute to Elton John last night. As we arrived they asked us to pour out our water, stating that we could keep our ice but needed to pour out the water!!! REALLY!!! We live in the Desert, HELLO!! If you think something is wrong with our water then ask us to pour it our and OFFER EVERYONE a FREE bottle of water to replace the water!!! I have stayed at Sand Hollow Resort for the past three summers. Each time has been in a different space. First year we stayed in a one bedroom queen suite, second year 3 bedroom double suite, and this year we stayed in a house. Each suite/home is spacious and has everything you need for your stay. We prefer to cook our meals and love that we're able to bbq. The amenities are nice- multiple pools, pickle ball courts, exercise room, etc. something for everyone! This year we stayed in a house that had a private pool and it was really nice to not have to carry towels and snacks to and from the pool. 10/10 would recommend if you're going with a larger group. Everyone had their own space and we loved the open kitchen/dining area. The resort is less than 10 minutes away from Sand Hollow reservoir and a Walmart, has a golf course (there is a dress code), entertainment area for concerts, and a restaurant. The Grille is okay. Food and drinks were not the greatest and service is slow. Views are amazing though! read more

If you're from out of state here are some alcohol related tips. -no alcohol until after 10:30 -no alcohol without a food order (unless you're golfing) -you need a table and a server to order food/alcohol on the back patio Now for the golf. -- stayed at the Courtyard home, rooms and home were beautiful. Beds comfortable. View in front of wilderness was calm and beautiful -- noisy, a lot of people have ATV off-road cars (that are baseline as noisy as a giant truck slamming breaks) and the resort doesn't control it at all. In fact the hotel key card has a picture of off-road atv cars. There are no quiet hours. These cars were active at all hours (10PM? 11PM? midnight? Yes, 3am? Yes) and drive right infront of the residences on the shrubs. So the beautiful nature view in pictures is marred by off-road noisy cars running by unpredictably about once an hour. I will say it was about 2-4min blasting noise per hour. So if you're ok with some regular, unpredictable, very loud noise amongst mostly quiet this may be ok for you. It was a lot of quiet but the noise was annoying and disruptive for us. The first night some youngsters had glowing sticks out of their ATVs and felt the off-road cars were circling on the field right in front of this home. (Like stones throw away from patio doors, making a ruckus about every 5-10min as their loop brought them in front of the home.) We called hotel staff about the late night noises and they said if it bothers us to call the police because the fields are public land. So no help at all. -- "resort" is in boonies. We were traveling to Zion and stayed here. A guide in Zion said "I live in Hurricane and it's just 30min away" but we were 45-50min away. This resort company purchased some isolated distant area and tried to make it nice, but fyi that it's extra disconnected from everything. -- The homes offer kitchens but the closest grocery store to get ingredients is a Walmart 10-15min drive away. -- not much of a resort. You can't see the golf green from any of the homes. They had one pickleball court that was crowded and the paddles they give you were beat up. They hadn't installed wind protectors so games weren't even functional due to regular winds. No water bottles, and the fridge water tasted like it had dirt mixed in. Noisy off-road cars mentioned above. -- we left early before our booking ended, (which felt like throwing money away) because the stay was overall uncomfortable. We went back 7 hours to our home where we could comfortably rest -- for reference the homes that are higher up north that look packed together on Google maps are indeed packed together. We drove up to see the vibes. It's completely a standard residential area, with homes next to each other, school kids walking around, teens pulling out their off-road cars. Not vacation feel at all. Which is ok as long as you know it's like going home. Some of the homes on the front edge face wilderness greens which as mentioned above are used by people's noisy off-road cars unpredictably -- "resort" is perhaps targeting only folks who want to play golf and do off-roading read more

Played on 3/7/25 with a group of 11 guys, (4 golf pros and 4 others in the golf industry) for a bachelor party . The bachelor who is a a PGA pro attempted to contact the club in January for tee times and to discuss greens fees considering the amount of those in our party in the industry, he never received a return call. We arrived to an hour delay due to weather, hit some balls and then went in to the restaurant in the clubhouse (which is very underwhelming for a #1 ranked Utah course). This is when our experience went downhill quickly. We sat down and ordered some food and drinks at which time there were only 3 other tables. An hour later we still did not have our food and watched other tables that came in after us receive their food. The starter (Laura) which was the only highlight of our day, approached us as we were next on the tee. We informed her we were waiting an hour and she went into the kitchen to have them box our food to get on the course. We waited another 20 minutes to receive our food. Someone in our party approached the kitchen manager to discuss our terrible service and wait and his only response was "we are having ongoing issues". In the mean time, we come to find out that the operations manager is sitting directly behind us and was either oblivious to what was going on or just didn't care. He was approached by someone in our group about the issues and his only response was "thanks for the suggestions". Now, the course was beautiful, however is definitely not worth the $250 greens fee. We were not informed b y anyone in the clubhouse that there were a large number of tee boxes under repair, thus many holes we shortened considerably by the tee box placements, some on the most scenic holes leaving out the experience of playing them from where they were meant to be played from. Unfortunately, my driver shaft cracked 2 days prior and while I was able to borrow a driver from Sky Mountain (great service) the day before, I was told by this resort course that they had no demo or rental clubs. How does a resort course have no demo/rentals? Needless to say, I would never play here again. I suggest you fire the operation and kitchen manager and get competent individuals to run this place. read more

Some ups and downs with this one. Course is pretty nice but don't expect the grounds crew to stop doing what they are doing or even look to see if you are about to hit a shot. On 5 different occasions we had grounds crew drive right by us or mow right as we were teeing off/hitting a shot. Pretty cool that all they care about is getting to where they need to go and not about waiting for the golfers to hit. This is the nicest golf course in Utah for good reason. The back nine is so beautiful with red rock formations lining the fairways . The course was in great condition. The carts were fast and worked well. The snack bar made good food and were priced nicely. My favorite course in Utah! read more

In originally booked online a 2 bedroom king condo but when I called to change the arrival date the type of condo I booked was not available for Sunday. They had a 2 bedroom double double available for Sunday - Wednesday. I asked the guy the size of the beds. He said the master has a king bed & the 2nd bedroom has 2 queen beds. When we got into the townhome the master had a full size bed & the 2nd bedroom had a full size bed & bunk beds. Our daughter & grand daughter with us & the grand daughters didn't like the bunk beds. For a big place the fitness center was really small & didn't have much. It had a. Ok kitchen. My husband liked the golf course but we won't stay at the resort again. Clubhouse Grill is horrible with mandatory 18-22% gratuity. 5 couples and food is subpar at best. One hour wait for....deviled eggs?? Golf course is great - bag drop guy makes you get your own bag and points you toward your cart then walks away??? Why do you pay this guy? The rooms are clean and location is great but until they fire the manager of the grill - a 10 minute drive gives you MUCH better options. Pigs Ear Bistro...your welcome. Staff was friendly - but we were ready to spend a lot of time in the Grill because of the reviews...after 4 nights and 5 days we went there one time and NOBODY wanted to go back. The room was comfortable but was not clean. When we arrived the entry floor was sticky and there were cookie crumbs on the floor. We called the front desk and ask for them to come clean or for a change in rooms. The person was nice but said they could not change our room as they were all booked for the night. About 2 hours later we got a text that they had cleaned the floor. When we returned the floor was clean, but unfortunately that is when we started to find all the other things in our pictures. Lint in the dryer filter, shampoo on the wall in the shower, dirty plate in the kitchen, spills in the microwave, who knows what floating in the ice maker. I would really question ever staying here again. The beds were comfortable, we enjoyed the pool and it's location is good for State Park stuff. But I would have expected more at a motel and this is a "resort". read more

Far from a Resort I stayed there this past Fourth of July weekend expecting a pleasant/accommodating stay, it was far from that. The room had a few discrepancies that I was able to look past and others that I had to bring to managements attention. The most obvious was the balcony was covered in bird droppings and after requesting it be cleaned several times I was ignored. The front desk person "Amy" promised to call me back, yet never did. An iron was missing from the room and was never delivered by housekeeping. There were numerous broken items in the room including a balcony and sprinkler head that appeared to have been activated at one point. All in all, one of my worst stays at a hotel or "resort". If anyone is looking to book a room here I would suggest not to. Book a room in St. George or Springdale and save yourself the unpleasant stay and hassle of dealing with the staff. read more

This is not a resort. We stayed in only what could be described as apartments. 7 apartment buildings. No room service, no housekeeping, no vending machines. The restaurant was 2/3 of a mile away from the 7 apartment style buildings (I had to drive up there to pick up my to go order so I used my odometer to check distance). The room was clean but the elevator, stairs and hallways were very outdated. And it's like a timeshare. You have to take out the garbage or they charge you. If you turn down the AC, you'll get charged. They automatically charge you $100 for "incidentals" and if the room is in good condition (trash taken out, etc), then they will refund you. This is not anywhere near a resort feeling. I would not stay here again. I like resorts where I can walk down to the lobby and sit at a bar, or go to the gym. Or call housekeeping for more towels. This is not any of that. Very disappointed. I would not recommend unless you are renting a house and have all your groceries with you. read more

The course starter/marshal was the rudest I've yet encountered. He interrupted my group on the 3rd hole as I was about to hit my ball, and he did that 2 times after. No rules where being broken he just didn't like our pace of play which for a 4some we where actually speeding through.....and the group behind us was waaaaay behind. This was my first time playing here traveling from California paying top dollar to play. Dissapointed that the marshal was rude and kept interrupting my game ruining my shots midway. The course, the greens, the scenery was priceless though!!! Absolutely gorgeous. I would love to come back here again and bring new people to check out the course, as long as the marshal isn't being a jerk and understands common courtesy. read more

This is a review for the concert venue only. We did not golf, stay, or eat here. I came here for a really intimate Kenny Loggins concert. It was only 12 rows total! I didn't know much about the venue as I had never been, but it was outside. It was absolutely gorgeous. It had unfortunately rained the hour before so the staff had to diligently dry off all the chairs before we could sit down. Getting to the venue itself is a little weird. They have a dirt road you can walk down (which we did) or they have golf carts that can shuttle you back and forth. I'm not sure why it's not paved. We wanted to eat before the concert but their only restaurant was only doing a buffet, and nothing else, which was kinda weird. Down at the actual concert spot, they had snack foods but nothing of substance, which is a bummer. The food situation was pretty disappointing, considering the concert was 3 hours total. As for the concert it was great. We were in the 11th row (of 12 rows) but we had a great seat. It is outdoors though so it all depends on the weather. Towards the end it got really cold and there are NO heaters so layer up. We had a few layers on but I really wish we had brought blankets too. I'd see another concert here although I'd eat beforehand and come prepared. The venue is not really close to any restaurants and the food options onsite were disappointing. read more

Ok if you come to golf we give it 5 s! The course is unbelievably gorgeous but..... the hotel is a mess. Honestly the restaurant was good too and the servers deserve kudos - so come golf and eat, then run! The dark halls have stains the size of platters, the patios and chairs are dirty and splattered with bird poop, the carpets in the room are spotted and not vacuumed under the beds or furniture, but here's the kicker... After a shower I noticed water on the floor from the shower curtain and took my washcloth to wipe it up (SEE PHOTO) OMG!!!!! This is Covid time right, hotels are "doing everything to meet all cleanliness standards for our health and safety" right? W R O N G. We called the front desk sent the photo and told the nice young gal to have our room deep cleaned the next day. Nope never happened. So we call for the manager. Nope never hear back. The meager housekeeping staff looks like high schoolers and we all know what their bedrooms look like right?! We did not want to ruin my birthday getaway (7hour drive) so we let it go....it was obvious that they had no care or concern about customer satisfaction or pride in their properties so it was a sad losing battle. If they put 1/2 the attention to the rooms as they do to the putting greens it would be awesome! Do not come to stay here....come eat and golf then head to Zion the la Quinta looks great read more

I recommend this hotel to everyone, it's quaint and cute, and not much extra to upgrade to a full apartment size with a full kitchen. The VIEW is incredible. Only two hours from Vegas with limitless fun. The lake is best in spring and early summer with less algae but if you do come in later on, bring swim shoes!! Lots of ATVs, kayaks, jet skis and boat rentals. The hotel is on a gorgeous golf course. There is a nice pool (three) and even a cute cafe and golf shop. We come every summer. Rooms are clean over looking either the pool, or golf course and mountains. Definitely will be back for my yearly weekend trip. read more

golf course was in good condition only reason I gave them 1 star. had no tv in main living room for 3 of our 4 nights. when they finally got it turned on we still had to use 1 remote to operate 4 TVs in our 3 bedroom condo that was 550 a night. They Never brought additional remotes even after saying for 2 days they would until the day before check out. Was promised of a refund of at least 1 nights stay by management was then told that the person that told me this was not authorized and I was given no refund for anything and when we left I was charged an additional $200 deep cleaning fee on top of the $200 fee that was built In and we had 3 people staying in a condo that could accomidate up to 11 people and left the place spotless did all dishes took out all trash etc.. Avoid staying at this place at all cost they are total scammers. food at restaurant is also absolutely terrible as is the service everywhere at the resort DO NOT STAY at this place read more

This is one of the best place if stayed honestly. It has everything you can ask for, everything was cleaned before we arrived. They let us check in early without giving extra money or giving us a headache like most places do. My kids loved it so much... the price was perfect. We ate at the clubhouse for lunch on delicious! (Party of 7). It was busy, but staff were hussling! A server with braided pigtails was really hussling and pleasant. The young man at the front (tall, thin, blonde) was so friendly and helpful. He seated us, got us water/soda, asked a server to get the alcohol drinks, (as he was under age). My party and I were staying in the Vista Retreat house. Yesterday (10/21/2021) at 5:36 pm, I called the front desk and spoke to a receptionist. I told her that the propane tank was empty and that we were BBQing. She stated that she would send somebody right over. At 6:36 pm, I called the front desk again because a new propane tank still had not arrived. The phone line went to a messaging service and I left a detailed message of the conversation I had with the receptionist and my phone number to call me back. The propane tank never arrived. Today (10/22/201) at 10:54 am, I called the front desk and spoke with a receptionist and explained to her my issue. She stated that she was sorry and the situation should of been taken care of yesterday and she'll send somebody right out with a tank. It's currently 2:10 pm and we still don't have a propane tank. The propane tank finally arrived around 4:35pm. The customer service has not been good and extremely disappointing. UPDATE: On 10/25/2021 I received a phone call from a Manager from the resort. She was upset about the situation and stated that she will talk to her staff about their customer service. read more

I would put 5 stars if the restaurant had been open for everyone. They had an event. However we were able to get a take out order. Just couldn't sit down to eat. Got the Veggie wrap and it was delicious. Got the house chips which were homemade potato chips. Great meal! read more

Check-in / Front desk is inside the same building as the Golf Pro Shop and restaurant. Hand sanitizers available as you walk in. No one other than restaurant workers are wearing a mask. I don't think Utah has a mask requirement. Easy check-in process. We had a King Bed room. It was an end room so it was right next to the building entry door and easy to access. It had a small patio with 2 chairs that looked out towards the road and then the golf course. The room itself was large and spacious, and seemed very new. It had the standard dresser, TV, 2 chairs, 1 arm chair, closet and ceiling fan. Would have been nice if it had a small sofa since there was so much empty space in the room. The bed was comfy, but only had a sheet and a super thin comforter. The pillows were small and a bit lacking. There were no extra pillows or blankets in the closet. (I didn't think to ask for extra until the last day.) The closet only had 3 hangers in it. (Had we stayed longer I would have requested more.) The front entry of the room has a small bench and hooks to put your things. Also in the front entry, there was a small fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker and a Frigidaire Ice maker. I was unimpressed with the ice maker... it didn't generate but a handful of small 1-1.5 inch cubes and was super noisy so you couldn't run it at night (while you slept) to have ice the next day. The fridge was very much appreciated so that we could keep our drinks cold and not need ice. Given the size of the room and front entry, you'd think the bathroom would be bigger. It was pretty small (imo)....meaning 2 people could not be in there at the same time unless 1 was in the tub/shower. Tub/Shower combo with a curtain - standard size. Toilet was next to the tub/shower. The counter with 1 sink was reaching distance to the toilet. The counter did have shelves under it so we could put our toiletries under instead of clutter up the counter which was good. I think because of Covid, there is no housekeeping. So, if you want fresh towels, you have to go up to the front desk to get them. We used the pool areas that are in the complex. The pool closest to our room was what I would term a "Family" or a "Kiddie" pool. It was very shallow and seemed to be geared to be more kid-friendly, and did not have a jacuzzi. So, we opted to go down to the middle pool which had a jacuzzi and was a deeper pool... 3-5 feet gradient. Some of the loungers and chairs were broken / in disrepair / falling apart. I get it... they get a lot of use and are in the hot, baking sun all the time. Just be careful where and how you sit. There are bathrooms at the pool. Note: you need your room key to get into the pool area. They only have 1 restaurant on the resort property. It's a typical golf course restaurant and serves the usual fare of breakfast, lunch / dinner foods... easy-to-eat, on-the-go... breakfast sandwiches, deli sandwiches, hamburgers and the like.... although they did have salads and pizzas on the menu too ... (We ate a breakfast and a lunch there.) When they have golf tournaments or special events, you may or may not be able to eat at it. There was a golf tournmaent one morning that took over the whole thing so that there was a bit of a wait. It would have been nice to be warned about this the day before, so that we could have adjusted our timing or gone elsewhere. ("Elsewhere" being about 15-20 minute drive since this resort sits away from things a bit.) And then another day, the restaurant closed at 3pm for a wedding/special event. Thankfully, we were made aware of this beforehand so we made plans accordingly. While we'll definitely golf here again, I doubt we'll stay here again. For the price we paid ($195/nt), I was unimpressed with the quality of the amenities (room, pool, restaurant). read more

We were attending a friend's wedding; we booked our room online, unfortunately the discount wasn't applied and my credit card was charged..ok no problem, I'll address it when we check in two months from now..if we remember. We checked in asked about the wedding party discount, front desk gal gave us $5 off for one night....uh, the rest of the wedding party had a $65 off discount for. Jr. Suite, we only got a double, no worries, must be a mistake. Asked again, called the manager and at the end of the conversation, she wanted to charge us more! So zero stars for organization, zero stars for customer service, negative stars for COVID safety and PPE's. The rooms are older and outdated, pictures are nailed to the wall, air conditioning unit is mounted in the bedroom- noisy and needs to be replaced, coffee maker with no coffee nor k cups, need outlets and UBS outlets, tub is chipped, shower head needs replacing, again rooms need updating badly. Nice views, but the resort has 7 buildings of rooms, an entire section of 3 bedroom resort rooms as well and only one small restaurant, the Grill. The restaurant I was told, was slow service and took over 30 minutes for a sandwich. Our other friends reserved a jr. Suite, it wasn't available when they checked in, our other friend's reservations were canceled or missing for some reason (resort's disorganization!). If I could give this place ZERO stars I would, don't waste your time, resort....more like LAST RESORT! read more
