I was told pumping would be about $400 on top of addressing the problem. They came first thing the following morning (7:30am). Marvin pumped only what he needed to assess the issue. He found the electrical connection box completely submerged. He drained it and added sealant to reduce the chance of future fluid intrusion. He tested components and pulled and manipulated the pump. He ensured all worked well and tested three times to be certain all was working well. He was professional and personable. He gave me some easy to follow maintenance advice as well. This was a time some companies would take advantage of the customer (immediate need of service). In the end, the limited pumping (only what was necessary) and the quick work resulted in a change well under the $400 quoted. It is nice to find service providers who are honest and don't take advantage of their customers.

I did that, thought my problems were solved, but within an hour of having the water on the leak was back. I then decided to give Rub A Dub a try. Aaron came by and, unlike the other two, went to work to find the leak. After some bush-cutting and rock moving, he determined the connection between my copper and PVC pipes had broken in the yard, and he repaired the fitting promptly. Thank you very much for your help. I think I will be using this company for all plumbing needs going forward.

They told me that my water heater's mother board was bad and was obsolete / no longer available. Thus, the only option was to replace the entire system at a cost of nearly $5K. Feeling stuck and taking their word for it, replacing the unit is what we did. A couple months later, my second tankless system (same make, model and age as the first one) went on the fritz. Troubleshooting this system, it too was a motherboard problem, yet this time (not with Rub-a-Dub), a replacement motherboard was available for $300, a far cry from replacing the entire system at 16X the cost! Needless to say, this was a pretty frustrating realization to have about Rub-a-Dub's service call and recommendation. They definitely got me! :-(

The we had a home inspection to sell and the inspection said it was not draining properly. The attic was getting wet the unit was not level and the furnace vent was crimped and could cause a carbon monoxide issue. Husband called they were to come the next day. I call at 5:30 next day to ask when they were coming. He told me the issues were a problem with the house not their work Inspectors were asshole and don't know anything. He kept screaming at me I said 2x we need to end this conversation but he kept yelling. I hung up. 10 minutes later he called back with a blocked number and screams for about 4 more minutes so I hung up. He called a AGAIN and left a very hateful voice mail. I will pay someone new to fix the issues they caused.
