After that, almost every time the weather was horrible, the power went out and my generator didn't come on. They had me go out in cold, heavy rain in the dark to try and get it started, my power is out, yet again, and my generator is not working! Called them and the person in the phone ran me through the routine and still did not come on. While outside working on it, you co hear all the Generac generators humming amd the lights are on in those homes. I was told that a service call would be almost $300 because I didn't have a "service plan" that apparently they put together AFTER I spent over $14,000 on this generator. So....my recommendation is DO NOT BUY A TRI-STATE GENERATOR!!!!

Atmos energy came out to test the line and with his testing equipment showed a gas leak the technician said the gas line was loose. I might add that when I was at seventh grade my family's house burnt to the ground because of the exact same thing a loose gas pipe to the stove. OK, there was some arguing on the phone, but it wasn't from me and when I got on the phone, I asked the office manager a few questions and she kept telling me about her policy. I'll tell you where the problem lies after her telling me how ethical your company is, I asked her if you're so ethical why didn't you not pull a permit then the office manager hung the phone up on me that's where the problem is and the fact that you work with crooked contractors if you want to know the truth I liked you, but there's something very wrong with this situation

I'm surprised to see the number of positive reviews due to my current experience with this company…read more I am new to the area and our contractor helped to set up the work to be completed by Napps. They wrapped a short outdoor pipe with weather stripping, placed a plastic piece around a valve box for a washing machine, and changed out a toilet and vanity (which we provided). The amount of time they recorded was 7.5 hours to complete these tasks. The time plus expenses recorded cost $1,161. I was shocked to see the bill, considering what was completed. I spoke with my contractor and he stated we shouldn't expect to be charged for more than 5 hours. I called and spoke with Napps and was told they tried to fix the old toilet (which didn't work) and I was being charged for that time also, but they would take off the cost of the parts that didn't work. After more deliberation Napps agreed to also remove 2 hrs of the time initially charged. Although they did remove some of the initial charges I am still very dissatisfied with paying over $800 for such a small job. Buyer beware.
