I purchased (3) mens t-shirts.There was one I got for my husband that referred to drinking & even though he only drinks non-alcoholic beer the shirt was very fitting. I purchased another one for my grandson, can't recall what was on it. I don't have the shirts in front of me. Z had shown me one of a drinking skeleton that I didn't care. He showed me another drinking one that I really liked. I was purchasing that one for someone in my family as a Christmas gift. I double checked my receipt before I left the area & I was charged for an extra shirt I didn't want. Z was gracious enough to oblige me & accepted the return. As we were driving a distance away I decided to look at all my items. I was so disappointed to see in my bag was a tee that Z showed me & I didn't like at all. It had on the back this big hugh medallion of Madeira Beach. I didn't care for the color of the shirt, what it said & the design. I've been calling the store but nobody picks up. I need something to be done so that I may get the correct shirt I wanted. I don't know if there's a way that I may contact you to see how this mishap maybe corrected. One of my favorite spots to keep my eyes out for treasures is Second Time Around. Second Time Around is run by a sweet family. They operate very simply and efficiently. The store accepts cash and card. They are also very friendly! When I found my couch I was not looking for it (which is typically the case when it comes to thrifting). When I saw it I got super excited but held back on the purchase. A few hours later while driving the town I realized the couch and I belonged together. So I called Second Time Around just before they closed-they took my card over the phone and allowed me to seal the deal! This couch is just one of many purchases I have made at Second Time Around. Art, lamps, etc... The store is not strictly second hand furniture. There is also a full clothing section. They also feature the work or local artists and curators. Different vignettes are setup for these "vendors" so to speak. A lot of the pieces in these collections I find to be overpriced. I appreciate that the folks take time to set up their booths and make boutiquey little shopping experiences. But for me a good thrift store needs to be a little more of a search and a lot more bargain. Second Time Around uses Instagram to post a lot of inventory. If you're on the search for something this is super useful. Oh! And for the time being they are offering curbside pick up so we can still shop in isolation!

I did find a new color eyeliner (for me) in the brand that I like (less than the competitor). Unfortunately, the shade I tried and loved on my hand didn't work for me. I stopped back a couple of weeks later and found a color that was fantastic (60 day is their return policy). There was a 50% sale on selected prestige brands that day too. Checkout in Kohl's. The line was huge (black Friday) but it seemed to be going fast. An employee pointed out self-checkout - awesome. Five minutes and we were walking to the car. We will be going there again soon. Fortunately, I also took a photo of the shipping label from my return email and the bar code there was readable with his device. His machine printed up a shipping label which he slapped on my package and then it printed up my receipt. The biggest problem with shopping online is returning the merchandise if it doesn't live up to expectations. Kohls makes Amazon returns simple, friendly, & easy.
