While I usually enjoy the Target shopping experience, this is not my favorite location. With the heavy traffic at the nearby Tyrone Blvd/Park St light, entering and exiting this Target can be a challenge. Making a left back onto Park street to leave is difficult and the only other exit is a right turn only onto Bay Pines, headed to the beaches and Seminole. I am not like other girls. And by the at I mean I don't totally j'adore Target (read Tarjay). In fact I would go as far as to say I kinda...dislike(?) Target, generally speaking. Something about an all in one stop takes a lot of the fun out of "shopping" for me. This is irrelevant though. Because the point of this review is to say I had a particularly nice experience using Target curbside service. (Placing an order online and opting to pick it up is a great hack for anyone that blacks out in a Target and walks out with more than they need. Just sayin'. ) I placed an order online and it was ready for pickup within half an hour. Which impressed me most. Picking up the order was easy too. You just pull into the determined spots and use the app to let them know you have arrived. They confirmed my order through the car window-I didn't even have to talk to anyone! This has been by far my favorite "curbside pickup" from a big business yet. They really have streamlined the process. My only gripe is that they used an insane number of bags to pack the order. It seemed wasteful. And since doing curbside pickup keeps you from being able to use reusable bags it was pretty unavoidable. Solid though, real solid. read more

Everything was going alright as I was doing my X-Mas shopping getting various gifts little Jewish cousins. I had a full shopping cart when I bumped into Melissa at HR, I voiced my concerns about the selection the store had to offer. She immediately responded in state of rage, she started shaking and whispering racial slurs under her breath at me. I felt so upset I just left, I have never been treated like that in my life. Normally going into Target, I have had normal experiences, never exceptional, but never bizarre either. This review is more about the employees/management and not so much the store itself. I called the manager about something last week, the phone rang and rang until someone finally answered, a guy who sounds like he is in his early 20's, if that even answers, when he answers he responds to me saying "yo" Because of the yo response, I immediately think that I dialed the wrong number! So I ask the kid if this is Target, he says, yeah how can I help you in a totally disgusted tone. I ask the employee politely if I can speak with a manager, he sighs and says "yeah". I'm thinking, what the heck is going on here, and is this even Target or is the guy playing around? Finally this young sounding girl answers the phone and says hello, I asked her if this is Target, she says Yes, this is Target on Park St. in St Petersburg, which is exactly where I was trying to call. Before I can even say another word, the manager I am speaking with says, I have your information and will give you a call right back, apparently she was in meeting? This was important, so I kept my phone in my hand the rest of the day waiting to hear back, at this point it's around 1pm. 2pm goes by, 3pm goes by, 4pm goes by, 5pm goes by, after 6pm I figure she is not going to call me back. 5 days later I receive a call from this Target store, "FIVE DAYS LATER". I guess she was in a 5 day long meeting? I was not available when she finally called back at 9am, I shadow at a hospital and go to school for pediatrics, so you would think whoever called would leave me a message, No. I have absolutely no clue what is going on at this location, there seems to be no adequate management, employees answer the phone saying yo, ending sentences using the word yeah. I would not last 10 seconds in ANY hospital in America with such disrespect and immaturity. These people need to learn, when you are a manager and tell someone that you will call them right back, and wait 5 days. This is 100% unacceptable and shows exactly why this store has employees who cannot speak a sentence clearly. Corporate need to step in and clean house! Targets are usually pretty consistent - and believe me I've seen my share :) - but this one is gross. Dirty floors, dirty bathrooms, messy shelves, lots of shelves not restocked and straightened. Other Targets in St. Pete area are good. Avoid this one if you can. read more

Decent Target. They do have a Starbucks. That is very important to me. I need me some good coffee to get pumped up when I get my Bulls-Eye On. Note that sometimes you can get really good parking along the North side. I usually come along Tyrone, but find it easiest to make a right on Park and a left into the parking lot. This also gives me a good view of the north side parking. I always keep my fingers crossed that I will get a good spot. I really like shopping at Target. I get the specials emailed to me. I also have a Red Card, so I like the additional discount I get for using it. The staff here is friendly. They also have a good selection. I never recall them being out of what I need. read more

It is nice to shop at Target. Except this one. Employees here are afraid to say hi to you and to get help here with anything is like pulling teeth. The cashiers are never enough. It's always nice strolling up and down the isles at Target. I saw that one of the books I've been wanting had a 20% off sticker so I looked on the cartwheel app and saw it was $9.59..awesome! We went to check out and the cashier Henry was awesome, very friendly. The book rang up full price so I mentioned it to Henry and he called over one of the "top leaders" Dylan I'm pretty sure is his name. I told him the price was ringing up full price and he replied that the 20% off was taken off the retail value $16, which clearly doesn't add up 16-2=14 not 12. And so I show him the cartwheel app with the correct price. He looks up at me and gives me this super creepy stare then has Henry ring it up for $9.59 but with a very rude tone. He tried to hide his annoyance for being wrong but it was blatantly obvious. No apologies or anything just a quick half smile that quickly disappeared once he turned away. He's definitely not in the position to "lead" anybody. read more

Nice, clean Target. Fantastic alternative to Super Walmart across the street. I've never had a bad experience there. It's fairly close to where I live, so I do come there often. Staff is very friendly, polite, and helpful. You can find the same stuff as at other Target stores. Every time I used registry machines when buying things for my friends' baby showers and such, they worked fine. If something I looked for was out of stock at the store, someone has always looked it up and told me what other location has the items. read more

All I can say is that we left a whole shopping cart full of items at the checkout because we were not able to download the Target app which is required to get the discount.. it's ridiculous! There is NO reception in the store to download the app , not to mention the only people with smart phones can do this which means my retired father couldn't do it!!! We were under the impression at the checkout that it would just be taken off. Well that's not the case so we left everything in out cart and we are off to Walmart. Worst experience ever! I can't review unless I select a star but this store is a NO star because of this girl named Christina who was so RUDE to me it was unbelievable! I hate this store now. I went to pickup my online items I purchased for a baby shower and also found an item that I had to buy at a register on the night of 9.6.19. I used a self check out register and they were locked so I could not ring the item. This RUDE girl(Christina) came up and yanked the item from me and said I needed to enter the price but she didn't even ask if I needed help. She watched me go from one register to another and didn't say a word. I didn't have time tonight to complain to a manager in person but here is my complaint about this obnoxious girl(Christina). She is the girl who was at the self service register and she needs to be coached and taught a lesson on how to be kind to people. These registers were locked and she could have helped me with by entering her associate code to unlock instead she rudely punched in the code and yanked the item from my hand. I was disgusted with this employee's attitude. I will stay away from this place. Worst experience ever! I normally only like going to this target... Since they always have the things I need... Holy rudeness bat man! Everything that was done was done with an attitude... I felt like I was being treated crappy... I have never complained about this place, even though they only had 2 check out lines opened, still no complaints , and when they opened the third one, she didn't even bother to turn on her light... I had an item on clearance and she disregard the clearance price and my app that I handed her... I just had an awful experience with a lot of attitude... Do not do a registry here, especially a wedding one. The computer system was down for a long time while guests were shopping. They change products and styles do often that many items were not available. They offered 10% off for us to buy remaining items on the registry(a ton of stuff left over because of their tech difficulties) and then refused to give us the discount on most of the items because they discontinued our original choice. We weren't trying to substitute different brands or styles, mostly colors(they discontinued BROWN towels and wouldn't give us the discount on DARK BROWN of the same towel). I've also never been treated so rudely by a manager. Will never shop here again read more

While this Target is not as large as some of the others in the area, you can often find items here that you can not find at other Targets. The store itself is laid out like most other Targets and I love that they have a common layout between stores. We rarely have to wait in line at this location since there are almost always enough cashiers. While this is not my favorite Target, it is a nice backup option. read more

I'd like to start by saying I've never had a problem at this store until now. I went to Target to get another pair of Mossimo pants that I fell in love with as well as a bathing suit. Well I ended up with a cart full of items as I worked my way to the fitting room where I had my problem. The attendant (Carolyn) treated me like an idiot when I asked how many items I could bring in with me, then ignored me the second time I went back (I had more than 6 items to try on) and accused me of cutting the line in front of another woman. I'm a young looking 46 year old woman so I'm sure she thought she was being rude to someone younger who wouldn't complain to management...she was wrong. I went right to the Customer Service desk and the woman I spoke to was NOT surprised at my complaint. I was then informed that this wasn't the first time someone has complained about her. I buy most of my clothes at Target, especially my work clothes. It's time to do something about this woman Target because I won't be buying anything if I see her in this store.
