I love to explore Costco whenever I'm in a different town as they always have something my local Costco doesn't carry. We went a bit after 3pm on a Tuesday and there were a lot of shoppers. One thing I noticed immediately is their separate liquor section and there were a few items I had never seen before which is always cool. I was very excited to see they were giving out samples of Caribbean beef patties as I've never had them and was curious what they tasted like. The dough was buttery but the filling wasn't as flavorful as I expected. It was still pretty tasty tho hubs didn't care for them. So I ended up having his sample too:) They also had frozen Japanese fried chicken which I had never seen at a Costco before and I probably would have purchased if I wasn't traveling. We did find a nice pair of swimming shorts for the hubs for only $12.99! This is why I love Costco. People were very friendly at this store. As always, had a fun time exploring this location.

This is strictly for the gas operation. I got here at 7:29 am only to find a line of cars waiting there as tho it were midday. Many of 'em were just milling around not pumping gas. Well, it turns out that the bonehead running this place didn't turn on the pumps! It became obvious that he was late for work. Why? Because the cones, etc. had not been set up yet; he tossed them into a shopping cart and pulled 'em out of the shack after he turned on the pumps at 7:33... This is the same moron who LAST week changed the prices on the pumps a nickel higher; sign out front still read a nickel a gallon less. Another customer called out the attendant on it. His reply "I forgot to change the board!" The customer asked whether they'd honor the lower price. "No; it's still cheaper here if you try to go somewhere else!" So at the very least, the people who run the store should be aware of this fellow who can't seem to run a gas station right. I'm sure there's more to it than meets the eye, but showing up on time and getting things properly set up is what one SHOULD believe as a no-brainer! Uh oh...I may just have stumbled upon something. This particular "something" is a brown haired, bearded B U F O O N...This was only in the last two weeks. Let's see if management is paying attention to this page!!!

We stood in one of the shorter lines to check out, but it became one of the longer lines as we put our items on the belt to check out. One of the employees came up & opened the check out lane next to us. That's service! The store has Christmas items already (9/30/23). It has sales on paper products & clothes, all in stock. We got the huge Bounty towel bundle for $5 off, which was a deal. We looked at a hoodie for $15 on sale from Orvis. It was very warm looking, but bulky. I chose a lightweight Eddie Bauer zippered hoodie for $17.99. I looked for replacement toothbrush heads, for $5 off, and saw the small print - online only. That's okay. With free shipping, it's fine. Duracell batteries were $5 off, but Costco batteries were the same price for more batteries. We read that Duracell makes their batteries, so we chose Kirkland. We used our bonus bucks to pay for everything. We earned them for purchases for the last quarter. They are always helpful. With the crowds and the parking sometimes hard to find, it is still a good place to shop! Next time we'll go on a week night for fewer people & easier parking.

This place scream American excess. Long line. Big carts. Packed parking lots. Huge products. Free samples. Absent customer service. It is very overwhelming, so be prepared. But most everyone knows what they're getting into when they visit. Some of the prices are amazing. The meat is hard to beat price-wise I will need to be strategic with my visits.

Our membership started back in 2008! My husband went to refuel, and I was waiting for him at the entrance. I urgently needed to use the restroom, but the staff asked me to show my membership card and refused to let me in. That was extremely rude! Us

    Scratch in my car rim

BE CAREFUL with the tire center . I had my 4 tires changed two weeks ago( I had a nail on one of my tire and I decided to change all the tires) and they scratched my driver side back rim. I made a complaint with the store manager and he was trying to tell me that the scratch was old( it was NOT old, they DID IT there.) All the rims were greasy all over, they didn't have the courtesy to at least clean the rims. I filled out a claim and corporate denied my claim. Now I have a car, that I bought 2 weeks before I went to this location with a big and deep scratch in one of my rims. So my advice to all the customers thinking to use the tire center, take pictures of your tires and rims before you drop the car to this Costco location. They are very unprofessional and this was unacceptable.

We were here on a very specific mission, one son was looking for ghostbusters toys and the other was looking for pokemon cards. One of the employees told us that they get the most calls from people looking for pokemon cards. So I don't bury the lead, they don't have just packs of pokemon cards, but they do have a set that includes multiple packs for $60. We ended up getting that for my older son and I've been giving him a pack every couple of days. I was little nervous about our mission to find ghostbuster stuff. There were tons of star wars stuff and a lot of funko figurines. We did find ghostbuster funko figures, but that wasn't really what we were looking for. Eventually after walking around a bit, we did find three small ghostbuster items. I think they're meant to be kept on a desk, but my son has been playing with them like they're toys. I haven't seen ghostbusters so I'm not going to describe this well, but they are items to track and then trap ghosts. He was ecstatic that we found them, so mission accomplished. If you're looking for comic books then this is heaven. If you're looking for specific toys, it may be hit or miss, but for us it was a hit. This is definitely a place worth checking out.

The room is full of frozen meats and poultry and dairy, and a great selection of fresh seafood on ice, a two-aisle-wide section that includes whole fish and huge shrimp and scallops. However one actually gets to handle and see the stuff rather than picking something at random on their website. The two salespeople in there were helpful and friendly. They let us know that their sausages and cheeses have small discounts (save a buck here, two there) for purchasing two of the same category. One can mix and match among sausages or among cheese types for the little discounts too. That said, it still ain't cheap by any means. After all, it's still Hickory Farms. If you're looking to hit the mother lode of snack gift boxes here, you'll come up kinda dry. However for a few small charcuterie items, basic HF snacks and SMALL assortments of their stuff, well here U go! It can help get the mind thinking of what Christmas gifts to send Grandma or Uncle Pismo back in Iowa, Indiana or wherever. As they were dealing with phone traffic (they do have a phone, BTW), they offered friendly advice to folks also. This store does not ship, BTW: so if you wanna ship that box of summer sausage or assorted pretzel snacks back home, go online instead. You'll STILL get an idea of what to send if you stop in and try a few of their items for yourself.

What arrived was an all-digital Xbox, in very banged-up condition, despite being listed as "very good." On Christmas morning, my son couldn't play the disc games Santa brought him. It was heartbreaking and completely avoidable. I contacted GameStop on 12/26 and was told I must ship the Xbox back before they would send the correct one, and that I could not exchange it in a physical store because online and retail are "not connected." Weeks later, I still have not received the return label they said was required to send it back. I had no choice but to purchase the correct console elsewhere so my child could actually use his gifts. This was a major failure in quality control, customer service, and basic accountability.
