I have no idea how I had not been in Sand & Soul before, I just happened to park in front of them…read moreduring my latest trip to John's Pass. I popped my head inside and quickly realized this was my type of store. Cute clothes, jewelry and accessories. Walking around I saw several cute pieces of clothing and they had this super cute/simple one sleeve sweatshirt and honestly, I would have liked it more if it didn't have Madeira Beach written on it. Nothing again Madeira but as a local I wouldn't wear something with a local city/town on it around here, maybe if I was off on vacation but still doubtful. They reeled me in when I got to the jewelry area, especially the rings. Several were cute and it was difficult for me to pick. They are reasonably priced at $12 each of 2 for $20. I went for the deal and picked out a gold and a silver ring. As I was walking out, I noticed some earrings that I didn't see before that were super cute but I was being good and didn't buy them. I have more earrings than one person could ever need. While I was still in the area, I decided to take a look at the rings that I bought and put one on since I didn't wear any out that day. I immediately ripped off the tag and then realized that I accidently gave the employee the wrong ring. I had read another review on their return policy so figured I was stuck with my 2nd option, but I did decide I would pop in and see if they would exchange them, even with the tag off or if I would just have to buy the other ring (it was the one I wanted the most). The employees greet me again with a smile and said "back again huh" jokingly. When I explained what I did they just said grab another and only confirmed the size so they could put on the proper tag to sell again. This is a store I will check out each time I am at John's Pass to see what new stuff they got.

Magical boutique in Pass-a-grille. I am a huge fan of the clothing and accessories. Most of the…read moreclothes are made in Italy with all natural fabrics. A lot of "one size" drapey dresses, and silky pants. They also have incredible handbags and freshwater pearl necklaces. The gals working the shop are fun and helpful. They make you feel beautiful without being "salesy." The shop is really tight and bursting at the seams with things to discover. Because of the close quarters they are only allowing 6 guests in at a time. Which hey-makes the experience feel that much more special. You can expect to pay $75+ for most clothing. And accessories start around $30. In addition to gorgeous new pieces there is a small collection of vintage and up-cycled leather and animal hide goods. The dopest black cowboy boots are there as of 4/16/21...if you're a size 7ish you might want to jump on that. This will become a new go to shop for me. Looking forward to the many years of wearing these timeless, oh-so-delicious-on-the-skin garments.

Basically shot us down,"I don't want short term renters in MY neighborhood!" Then, when I was ready to purchase something, I had to get their attention b/c they were discussing "decorating". After giving my appalling experience some thought, I reconsidered my purchase (I can't support a local business in a town who is rude to visitors) and decided to return it the following day, only to to be told, "Store credit only"! I hadn't even removed it from the tissue in the bag! She hemmed and hawed and finally gave credit on my card. I have a feeling that store credit is not good for a year or more until I return next year. Out of town visitors, please beware.
