We were getting desperate for a meal. The first place we stopped look disappointing. We left in a hurry. While looking through Yelp for another option, this food truck popped up a few blocks from our location. We have tried a few food trucks in Santa Fe. The experience was good so we thought why not. We pulled into the lot to see a vacated building. Nope that wasn't it. Around the other side was a brightly painted food truck. Cars kept coming into the lot. A good sign. The owner spoke little English so my high school Spanish came into play. To be safe we ordered one taco each; chicken and beef tacos. More people pulled into to pick up orders. The owner gave us a pager while we waited. There is nowhere to sit so be prepared to take it away. The food was hot, came with a side of beans and radishes. We also got a Mexican soda which was interesting. These are street tacos and the size is small for what you pay. He also offers tortas and enchiladas. The food was good and surroundings were subpar. Once again, I'll add different states have different types of regional food and the tacos. Here are absolutely unique and very good. I went with several different tacos and they were all really good. Totally different from what we get in Houston Texas region but they were good nonetheless. The hot sauces were absolutely full of flavor, made to order, and absolutely spicy. They were extremely hot actually. We only could use a little bit of the spice because it was so hot. But very good for sure. My girlfriend went with a hot dog, and she absolutely like that as well. It was totally different but very good. Very happy. We stopped off at the taco stand. Very unique food at a decent price. The customer service was OK. Not the greatest but not the worst. Everything you'd expect from a street taco truck. All the flavor and great portions. On this occasion I ordered the beef and pork tacos. Both were prepared fresh and were flavor-packed. The give you enough meat and double tortilla, so you could make two tacos out of one. I ordered four tacos and easily could have been 6-7 tacos after dividing the tortillas. Customer service was good. Can't go wrong with this kind of taco truck. I will check them out again the next time in Santa Fe. read more

Appears to be a family owned taco truck open late. It's in a parking lot with a liquor store ( which was perfect since I needed wine). Carne asada tacos slapped. Expensive and inconsistent. I've been to sanchez tacos multiple times and with every visit I grow more and more tired of these chain of taco trucks. This last visit I got 8 tacos de lengua and a carne asada burrito which i expected to be great considering I forked out $40 for the entire order. Once at home, I realized I didn't get any salsas and only two lime slices for all my food. Ordered 2 quesadillas. $$$26.00 for a FOOD TRUCK off St Michaels in Santa Fe. No avocado , no sour cream, no lettuce. No side of beans or anything. Just meat (which was good) a little cheese as a binder, inside a cooked tortilla. Maybe I got charged extra because I am not a regular and they do not have prices on the stand. But wow... We spotted this truck in front of Pep Boys on Cerrillos Rd. Ordered 4 Asada tacos, and 2 al pastor and a cheese quesadilla. Amazing tacos, and the quesadilla was terrific! Big portion of meat on all the tacos could have easily have been double the number of tacos with the meat provided. Very fast service as well! read more
