It was a turn around trip and I need my alignment fixed ASAP! (Especially since my kids were with me). I was looking on yelp and came across this place! The staff was extremely helpful, and they made sure my wheels were fixed before I hit the road! The wait time was ridiculously fast- I love efficiency. There were a lot of cars there, a good sign they have the public's trust and man, do I understand why! With their great prices, exceptional service, nice conversation, and a job well done I HIGHLY recommend this shop! A 30$ oil change? Can't beat that! And alignment going from 59.99-69.99 it's affordable for even the tightest budgets! Look no further, these guys are trustworthy and honest (something hard to find in this industry).

I honestly had high hopes for this place. I'd seen their work on Instagram, and some friends…read morerecommended them, so I thought I'd be in good hands. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with a mechanic. PROS 1. Affordable prices: Definitely cheaper than a dealership. 2. Strong social media presence: They post videos of their work, which some people might like for transparency. 3. They seem knowledgeable: Based on their work online, they clearly know what they're doing. CONS 1. Terrible communication: I dropped my car off at 11 AM and didn't hear anything until I texted them at 5 PM. No updates, no calls, nothing. 2. Disrespect for your time: If I'd known they wouldn't even start on my car until the evening, I wouldn't have wasted my entire day without it. I live far away and had to arrange rides back and forth. 3. No clear process: After the inspection, I didn't get a proper report, just an Instagram DM listing what was wrong with my car. There was no real explanation or discussion. 4. Unprofessional behavior: When I finally went to pick up my car, the mechanic wasn't even there. I had to wait another hour, and a kid ended up handing me my keys. 5. Ended up costing more: I had to take my car to another mechanic because I couldn't trust them to handle it, so I wasted even more money. I feel so disappointed, not just because of the wasted time, but because I went in really wanting this to work out. There's nothing worse than feeling like your time and money don't matter to someone who's supposed to be providing a service. I read the reviews and noticed this has happened to others too, so it seems like a pattern. The mechanic knows what he's doing, and it's obvious he cares about building his image and growing his business. But they need to work on respecting people's time and communicating better. I personally won't be coming back, but I truly hope they improve, because they have the potential to be so much better.

ALSO P & J replaced a part without telling me till I got there to pay for their quoted work. P & J did not offer to return any replaced parts to me. When I requested they return the starter that they replaced, they said I would have to pay for it. Any of the other replaced parts were not available to me, as they threw them in the garbage, and the garbage man already picked up. The mystery part that they said was broken, was a part that had to be taken off to replace my starter. I was only told that when I went to pick up (& pay) for my vehicle. Oh yeah, they were to schedule a tow, I never got a contact call. I called my own towing co, so I could have it towed there. So now, my car has other problems, I called them to take it in again, then I slept on it and thought, why take it to get shafted again?? am not taking it to P & J.

I started a Yelp Project, asking for quotes on auto service I needed to have done. Willie of…read moreAutotech Services provided one of the quotes, and I ended up making arrangements with him to replace the control arms on my older Sonata. At first we had a couple communication problems but in the end I was very pleased that I went with Autotech Services. Autotech Services is a mobile repair service, which was a big plus for me - I didn't have to leave home to get the work done. Willie arrived at my residence to do the work and here's where our communications proved to be out of synch -- he'd understood me to say I had the parts but that wasn't the case. No matter, this was resolved immediately by his going out of his way finding and getting the parts needed for the repair. Armed with the right parts, he completed the work expeditiously. He also discovered a problem with work done by a previous mechanic and resolved that issue. And he noted and fixed a problem with the battery tie-down that wasn't part of the work I'd hired him to do. Bottom line is I'm very happy with the repair -- the suspension noises I'd been hearing are gone, and it was cool that he took care of the other issues he found along the way. I'm very pleased that the rate he charged to do the repair was very reasonable. Parts plus labor were a little more than half of the quote I got from a chain repair place. Willie was friendly, polite, and pleasant, so a personality bonus on top of the other good stuff. Full disclosure -- I tend to stick with businesses that have lots of (positive) reviews but this time I didn't worry about review count and I am glad of it. Give Autotech Services your consideration for your vehicle repairs.
