They answered all my questions and offering options and insights that I had not considered. I share a fence line with three neighbors. FTF gave me a detailed breakdown of what each neighbor's share would be. This made approaching my neighbors so much easier. They handled all permits and were great about keeping me updated. FTF threw out my old fence. They carefully cleared bushes and landscaping, preserving several that otherwise may have been removed. I removed four mulberry trees from the property and FTF coordinated and worked around the tree company with no issues. I especially appreciated how flexible Final Touch was--just prior to the start date I decided to add a small separate fence around my side door and an eight foot gate to allow for improved access to my backyard. These changes did not delay the project and the additional cost of these changes was very reasonable. Overall, my new fence exceeds my expectations and I am very happy. My three neighbors are happy and I have been getting compliments from passersby. I will be following up with final touch in three months to seal the wood when it is ready. I had read this "review" of his when searching for a fence company and was pleasantly surprised when the owner came to my home. His knowledge of the product line and his willingness to work with our budget was beyond what I had received from the four other companies I received prices from. The work crew that arrived on time was pleasant and very professional and considering the amount of work that was completed in less than 5 hours you would not even know that the fence was installed today. Cleanup was complete, no mess, no damage to any of the plantings the were along side of the newly installed fence line and my most pleasant surprise was the fact there was no cement residue or stone left over from the footings installed. We live on a corner and have noticed several vehicles slowing down to look at the fence throughout the afternoon. I asked them to take my once single gate and turn it into a double gate. I read the other review and was concerned, but I had little choice. My family fence experience: They were on time, organized, clean and professional. They took time to make sure I was happy with the job they did. This will be long, so if you want the TL; DR: DO NOT USE! We had someone give us a quote and we decided to go with them. They called to say someone would be coming out Monday. No one showed. No one called to inform us of the delay. We called and the secretary said someone will be out the next day and she literally just hung up on us. Tuesday came and went with no one showing up again. We called to cancel but later that day they called begging us to keep them and knocked off a couple hundred bucks. They claimed they were having a hard time finding people to work, which made sense due to the Covid/unemployment situation. So on Wednesday they came and all was looking okay. The job was finished on Monday, but they left all of their garbage (old fencing, screws/nails, etc) on our property AND left our gate looking like this pictures posted. Not level, uneven, and absolutely unsafe. We can't let our dog in the backyard. Can't trust our toddler to be kept inside the yard. We called the owner and he agreed it looked awful and the garbage left behind was unacceptable. He stated someone would be coming out that day to haul away the trash and look at the gate. No one ever came. No one ever called. So now we posted a negative review on his Facebook page and he decides to block us. Apparently someone saw them and called to ask what was included in the price, which the owner Bob said hauling away old fencing/garbage was included. Then this person asked why he didn't haul away our job and Bob got loud with him threatening to "knock teeth out" and that he was part of a motorcycle gang. Go view the FB page "family Fence LLC" and see for yourself! It's absolutely incredible to me that this company won't stand behind their work. I have called multiple news outlets in hopes of getting our story out there and that no one else gets screwed like we did. His crew were professional and showed up on time every time (driveway gates are a 2 step process). For that 6thStar.. about 6 weeks after the fence work was done, my neighbor called and said that my new fence had damaged her driveway gate. I called and asked Lester what I could do about it, he told me not to worry that he would come and check it out. In fact, he called prior to going out, so that I could be there and we could all be on the same page with any issues and resolutions. Smart. Upon inspection of my neighbors gate it was quite clear his installation of my fence had nothing to do with her gate not swinging freely. Her gate is old, the ground has settled, one of the posts is cracked, and some of the yard has encroached. But none of that matters, shes my neighbor, I value the relationship, so her concerns are mine as well. Right? He could have explained the mechanics and installation process to my neighbor and I, and it would have been up to us to resolve the issues with the fence, (i.e. me fixing it) and that would have been the end of it. Lester took it upon himself (with the help of a crew member that he brought with him), without me or my neighbor asking, to trim the bottom slats of the gate, re-mount the hinges of the gate, and, take the time to make sure that the whole structure, (posts, latches, hinges and all) were flush and functioning perfectly. Honestly he left her gate looking (and obviously functioning) better than when he found it, just as he would for any paying customer. He did all of this in 24° weather.

They expected us to pay them without actually seeing the final product and I know why...they knew it looked bad. No way is that proper. They just wanted our money that we were happy to give if they fixed it for free. We ended up paying them (not to fix the fence) because we NEVER want to see them again and to be honest, I really don't think they'd fix it properly. They are the most unprofessional contractor that we've ever worked with. They scream and threaten you instead of talking like an adult. Also, I had neighbors all around us that said when putting up the fence, they were yelling at each other very loudly and used profanity. How embarrassed we were. They also have a very badly prepared contract. They didn't follow the guidelines of the contract at all and when we showed it to a lawyer, they said it was a very weird and a weak contract. Be aware of that. Also, they just are not in any way, reputable. So disappointed and feel sorry for them because if they don't know how to be REAL contractors, they will end up with no clients. Make sure you get signed payment receipts and make sure to have them line item it. The only word I have to describe this, is that they are far from properly handling the issues (a lot of yelling at us without reason). They ruined our fence by making decisions on how to put it in without calling us and explaining. That would have made this go so much better but they won't budge.
