I was very impressed with this company I had a tight timeline to get the work completed and not only were they able to meet my deadline they did it a week before. Dylan came out and measured on Sunday. He gave us a clear and concise estimate on the work with different options to choose from We could either get the complete patio and pool surround done or do it in stages which because of our deadline we choose. They came with a crew and completed all work yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately we have worked with other companies in the past. Don't go to any other company but this one. I talked to several contractors and decided on Raise it Rite. They were not the lowest price but seemed to talk a good story. The person that I talked dealt with during the "shopping" period (Tony) never showed up to do any work. . . Hmmmm? The workers were kids who appeared to not know their business. I was about to call this company as I seen them doing work in my neighborhood. I was leaving my sub as the crew was leaving and one of their trucks cut me off from be able to turn out of the sub. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I have a set of concrete steps that had started to pull away from the porch leaving a 2 inch gap and also sinking down about 2-3 inches. I thought that concrete leveling would be the right trick to close the gap and raise the height of the steps. I called Raise-it-Rite and had the gentleman come out for a quote. He told me that he may not be able to close the gap, but he would be able to at least get it closer, probably an inch. He quoted me $600 and I said to go for it. Then on the day of the job a different person called me and said that he was looking at the steps and wanted me to be sure that I knew he wouldn't be able to close the gap, but would get it closer. I told him to go ahead, understanding the risks. When I got home, however, it was a different story. The steps are now lopsided with one side about 2 inches higher than the other. The gap is exactly the same width and the steps now angle back towards the house. The two walkway concrete pads were also raised (without telling me) and this caused two large chips, plus significantly widened the gap between the concrete pads and pushed one of them into my boxwoods, making the pads uneven. When I called the company they told me they would knock $50 off the bill and to fill the gaps with polymeric sand. What a joke! I was willing to take the risk of not closing the gap on the steps, but i was not willing to have the steps and walkway come out significantly worse than when they started. I would not recommend this company and would stay away! read more

Totally misleading quote! Quote said $300 and my husband & I asked them to go ahead and do the job. We were left with a $600 invoice- double the quote!!! He said the total at the bottom of the quote was not a total - but rather should have been added to what was above! I would have never had it done for $600!!!! Now I have a big bill that was NOT WORTH IT! The guy argued with me on the phone when I explained we were under the impression it was $300 - I was even wiilling to split the difference and he just refused. I asked several other people how much the quote was for - and they ALL said $300. This is a RIP OFF. It looks terrible and we should have replaced the concrete instead. SAVE YOUR MONEY. We will address this in small claims court. read more

We had some leveling issues with our driveway about a year ago. Tony came out and explained the process he would use to relevel and seal our entire driveway. They did a great job and cleaned up after they completed the job. They took the time to explain what they did and that they warrenteed their work. I am the husband, and never agreed with you on anything. Matter of fact I am also a small business owner and my written estimates have one total amount due for the job, not oh well it said in the upper right hand corner..... Obviously I could have people look at your quote and have them comment on it as well, which my wife did and wrote that she did. All of which thought the quote was $300. I never agreed to take a negative post off either, as I felt that slight of hand was used during the estimate and actual billing of the work. Also black mold all over the cement? That is absurd as well as totally irrelevant. I do not understand if we agreed to anything you said that it took you a year to post anything as if we would have forgotten. read more

I wanted to us a local guy. Tony was courteous and said all the right things. I used him. Little did I know that instead of him, a group of three kids did all the work. He showed up for fifteen minutes to get them started. . . never came back until check time. During the process they severed an electrical line to my lamps in front. It cost me $600 to fix. I took him to court and won $250 as a settlement. Tony gave me the check and I went immediately to the bank to cash. A stop payment was put on it so I could never get reimbursed for the damage that I incurred. VERY DISHONEST!! read more

I was considering replacing my driveway due to base wash out which left cracked concrete that had sunk 2-3" in places. Tony and his team leveled the drive then followed up a week later with sealing all of the joints and cracks. Tony told me it will be functional not necessarily pretty however after the crack sealant was installed I could not be happier and it saved me a thousand dollars. read more

Just for clarification, it was 65 days because quote was in winter and was told we had to wait until frost line lifted over a month out (about 30 days). The other 30 days was a result of timing on my part. The caking of the driveway was discussed over the phone but wasnt in contract (this could have been discussed vs just saying maybe later customer). I did write the cauking in since we discussed it and noticed it wasnt in the quote. I followed up with company after a few weeks and was told to sign contract. I signed contract and returned it. I was then emailed saying they were too busy...maybe in the fall. Nowhere on contract does it state quote has a shelf life. If it did I would have made it more of a priority. Bottom line is this company may have hundreds of happy customers but I was thrown to the curb with a "maybe in the fall". Never stated these are special prices and never stated they expire. I may be one of the few but I was not pleased at all. read more
