I hired Detroit Concrete Leveling to raise back patio and side walkway concrete to address drainage issues. Their work in those areas was acceptable. During the quote, I showed the salesperson, Lawrence, two sinking areas in my front sidewalk. He said they would raise those areas at no additional charge. When the crew arrived, I explained that sprinkler lines ran along both sides of the sidewalk and asked whether there was any risk of damaging them. They assured me there was not. They then proceeded to cut sprinkler lines at both locations. I left a voicemail at their main office asking how this issue would be resolved. Lawrence returned my call and said Detroit Concrete Leveling was not responsible for the damage based on terms noted on the back of the quote. The work provided at "no additional charge" ended up costing me $499 for sprinkler system repairs. I strongly recommend you do NOT hire Detroit Concrete Leveling. They do not take responsibility for damaging customers' property. If ownership disclaims responsibility, customers should not expect the work crews to show adequate care for their property. If you still choose to hire Detroit Concrete Leveling, I recommend budgeting extra money beyond the quoted price. You may need it to repair damage cause by their careless or indifferent work. REPLY TO THE OWNER'S COMMENTS OF 7/17/26 Michael - I left a voicemail at your main office on the morning of July 9 regarding the sprinkler damage. Later that afternoon, I received a return call from Lawrence, the salesperson. He stated that Detroit Concrete Leveling does not accept responsibility for property damage and characterized my situation as "unfortunate." He offered either to attempt the repairs himself or that I hire a sprinkler company do so. When I asked whether he had any sprinkler repair experience, he confirmed that he did not. Given the extent of the damage caused by your company and the need for qualified sprinkler repair professionals, I declined Lawrence's offer. Your statements that you requested the opportunity to come to my property to inspect the situation personally and that the "request was declined" are false. I declined only Lawrence's offer to attempt the sprinkler repairs. You did not contact me directly, and neither Lawrence nor any other company employee conveyed any request from you to inspect the damage. I could not have declined an offer that was never communicated to me, and your characterization of these events does not accurately reflect what occurred. read more

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the services provided by your company Detroit Concrete Leveling and the lack of resolution regarding my project. I hired your company on May 2nd for concrete leveling and caulking work. Since then, your crews have been to my home twice, and the work remains incomplete despite repeated assurances that these issues would be addressed. My project manager, Lawrence, has failed to properly manage this project. Aside from coming to my home to sell the job, he has never returned to inspect the work, review the damages, or ensure the project was completed as promised. Despite being notified immediately of the issues, he has not provided a resolution. The issues include: * Damage to my egress window well caused by your mudjacking crew, resulting in approximately $3,000 in repair costs that I will have to pay out of pocket. * Damage to my garden hose caused by your crew. They threw it on the ground! * Failed holes on the leveling work that was completed. * Poor-quality caulking work that was left incomplete. * Debris, materials, and a mess left behind by your crew. * A second service visit that still failed to complete the work, with the crew leaving without resolving the outstanding issues or having anyone from the home review the project. What is most concerning is the complete lack of project oversight. Lawrence has never come to inspect the workmanship, review the damage caused to my property, or verify that the work was completed correctly. At this point, I have paid for services that were not delivered as promised and have been left to deal with property damage and additional expenses caused by your company. I have been more than patient throughout this process. I hired Detroit Concrete Leveling expecting professional workmanship, accountability, and communication. Instead, I have received incomplete work, property damage, and little effort toward resolution. EDIT to reply to owners comment: It's important to note that multiple attempts were not made to rectify this issue, and seemingly my issues have and continue to be ignored. If this was the case, on visit #2 (June 15 2026) my caulking would have been completed, my failed holes filled, and the MESS left by your crew would have been cleaned. But no, after a 2nd visit i was left with all of the above not being completed. I now am expected to schedule a THIRD visit to my home, to complete a job that should've been done 7 weeks ago. A job that cost almost $3000 mind you. If this is something you would like to discuss this further - please contact me directly. Thank you read more

Work was completed so quickly and at a reasonable price point. Would recommend them for anyone needing concrete repair

Got 5 estimates from local companies for mud jacking. Not only was DCL the lease expensive, they were professional, friendly and fast. DCL could fit me in within a week, whereas the other 4 companies I got estimates from were 3-4 weeks. I had several areas that needed leveling, front sidewalk, all up my driveway, the walk to my front porch, and my back porch. They did everything under 2 hours. The crew that came were very polite, professional, and efficient. They cleaned up very well after themselves, and kept me well-informed throughout the whole process. I highly recommend and would hire them again. read more

We had our front sidewalk and driveway leveled, and the results exceeded our expectations. The crew arrived on time, explained exactly what they were doing, and made sure we were happy with the finished product before leaving. The trip hazards are gone, everything drains much better, and the concrete looks noticeably more even without the expense of replacing it. They were professional, courteous, and left the area spotless. We highly recommend them to anyone considering concrete leveling, it's amazing what a difference they made! read more

I selected DCL to complete some mudjacking in both the front and backside of our home. The chosen work date (make-up date) conflicted with my work availability. DCL staff said no issue, happens all the time. When I returned that night, I noticed some damage was done to a brick paver walk when the equipment was moved. Nobody said anything about the damage, and Lawrence downplayed it when I talked to him. I sent him photos and his lack of interest was blatant. Be present and be alert. Good customer service may NOT be coming your way if you select DCL... read more

Before calling Detroit Concrete Leveling, we called a competitor of theirs and they came out, looked at what we wanted done and gave us a pretty high estimate, but tried to explain why their service was worth what we thought was too steep of a price. After that 'no thank you' sky high estimate, we found Detroit Concrete Leveling. Please forgive me for not remembering names, but the gentleman who gave us the estimate arrived 15 minutes early, which was nice. Who wants to wait around for someone if they're late, right? After walking him through (no pun intended) on what we needed done, he presented us with a very reasonable quote. We accepted the pricing and he said they were about 3 weeks out for appointments, which was fine for us since it's prime season for outdoor work to be done. After a week though, we received a call saying they could come that day if we wanted it done early. Yes, of course! They two guys were very friendly and professional from start to finish. We had our front door steps raised, a few slabs raised near the front porch, a couple more on the main sidewalk and a section of our garage floor raised too. The entire interaction from initial phone call, to the estimate, to the work being done was A-1. If you're looking for a friendly and professional company that offers very fair pricing along with a solid reputation, look no further and give them a call. We highly recommend Detroit Concrete Leveling. read more

Great job. On time, great price and good job on a challenging project. Great cleanup, too! Would highly recommend! read more

Detroit Concrete Leveling - Extended driveway. - Masonry/Concrete Near Me - Clinton Twp, Michigan

These guys were awesome! We needed the front steps on my wife's elderly Aunt May's home replaced, which was challenging because she is in Detroit and we are in Chicago. From the first call, working with Detroit Concrete Leveling was a pleasure! Their were both polite and efficient in setting up an appointment for an estimate around my limited availability. The estimator arrived precisely on schedule, and provided us with a comprehensive and reasonable written quote, with no pressure. We scheduled an appointment for the work, and again, the team showed up right on time. They were extremely polite to Aunt May, completed the job quickly, and removed all the old debris. Aunt May now has a beautiful new set of front steps that are strong and up to code. She (and I) couldn't be happier! I wish all contractors were as great to work with. Detroit Concrete and Leveling gets my highest recommendation! read more

Detroit Concrete Leveling did a good job at a good price. The estimator and scheduler were professional and efficient.

The guys got a 4 star rating because they chipped part of the stamped surface when they drilled. Other than that, they did a fantastic job, very conscientious, on time, and polite. read more

Overall they did a good Job. Left a couple oil stains on the drive from their machine, but they were a reliable company and did the job as they said. They were able to fit me in on the schedule in two weeks which was very nice. Good professional company. read more

We had leveling done to some sidewalk squares, the garage floor, the patio and a concrete pad on the side of the house. They also sealed along the edge of the house where the concrete met the foundation. We have had a lot of rain since they did the work in May and there has been no water in the basement since they completed their work. My neighbors' sidewalk still has puddles long after my sidewalk puddles have drained away. It definitely made a difference. My sidewalk and concrete are all old (30 to 50 years, I believe) so I was not expecting it look perfectly level when done. However, everything that was leveled is working much better than before and the price was very reasonable to me. Lawrence, Cliff and Ted did the work and they were all professional and friendly. read more

Cody came out on time to give me a free estimate to level the sidewalk from my driveway to my patio. Cody and his staff arrived at the scheduled date/time, which can vary due to weather. When it rains, they aren't able to do their job and it pushes their schedules back. Cody and his staff came and he talked me through the whole process, answering any questions my Husband and I had. He also cleaned and caulked the area where the concrete and house meet, to ensure no water seepage. I had a couple other quotes that were cheaper, but after researching the products used, DCL had the most worthwhile product. They use limestone, which will harden underneath the concrete, rather than dirt/topsoil/sand which can wash away. To caulk, which is extra, they use a material that attaches well to the concrete and the side of my house which bends easily, instead of tar, which is not recommended. Overall, I'm truly satisfied with their work, how quick and efficient the staff was. They cleaned up after their work and made sure to go over what they just did and any suggestions they had to keep our sidewalk clean. read more

From estimate to job done, our experience was great. Cody was very thorough with explaining what would be done when he gave the estimate. Then Zach and his crew were great the day the work was done. Called for a quote, and Cody promptly issued a good price. An appointment was set-up, and the crew showed up on time and had the job completed in a few hours. I would highly recommend this company for services rendered. Thank You. read more

I just had my drive and sidewalk completed. From Cody to salesman to the installing / leveling team - I was very, very happy with the job. They were very professional and pleasant to deal with - including a great job of cleaning up. I would use them again in a minute and will recommend them to my family, friends, and neighbors without reservation. read more

I will admit that this is an expensive proposition than going down to your Home Depot and buying caulk and doing the job yourself. There is a process they do by first grinding/removing debris from each of the seams to caulk. The y then mix the epoxy caulk (two ingredients) together which they carefully trowel into the concrete seams. This is a far superior product than any caulk that you could buy yourself. Jim & Lawrence are very personable and profession individuals who are eager to please the customer is my observation of them. I would highly recommend them for any service they provide :) read more

Very prompt in calling you back, getting the job done and makes a huge effort to make sure you are satisfied. Cody is very knowledgable.
