Entering the showroom in Shelby Township quickly tells you that you are dealing with a quality business. Quality people, quality service and quality products. We walked in without an appointment and were warmly welcomed by Sherry who juggled her calls to accommodate our needs. We had attempted to contact many other companies when requesting quotes for our new patio deck.... many of which never even returned our calls. There was never a time where any Biondo employee made a promise they could not keep. It was important to them to know that we could believe in them. In fact, they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with their work. It was obvious when watching them work that they were a team that liked what they do and (maybe more importantly) that they liked each other. It was a marvel watching them move from task to task without having someone tell them what to do. Angelo and John are very proud of the people that work for them. We were amazed at how they poured and skimmed our deck on day one, cut and cleaned the aggregate on day two and sealed and cleaned up on day three. Our experience with the Biondo Cement team was exceptional. We started by visiting the showroom and working with Sherry to start the process of procuring our stamped concrete patio.. Sherry was extremely helpful in explaining the different products and finishes available. Next we had a 3D rendering made by Kevin (designer) so we could get a feel for how the finished product would look. Once we finalized our design we received a quote for the job. We accepted the quote, put down a deposit on April 13 and were put on the build schedule for early June. Biondo called ten days after we put down our deposit and advised that an opening occurred in the build schedule and that they could start work on our patio on April 26. The work was completed by the end of the week! The patio is beautiful and exactly as designed. We were very impressed by the construction team, led by the owner John Biondo. The team arrived at 7:30am sharp and by 10:30am our 13 X 30 patio was poured. The team members were extremely professional, courteous and have great passion for the product that they build. I was told the sprinklers were going to be pulled and capped off, they were not. They did pull some out and not capped and some they just poured concrete over them. When I called I spoke to the ladies at the office a couple of times before they got John on the phone and he did send someone out the next day. I have explained to him that the sprinklers that are covered are under the new driveway, I trusted them, he said he fixed them and left. When my husband came home he uncovered what was fixed to make sure that they fixed it and sure enough, there was still a leak. All they did was find a line and cut it and added a sprinkler. Never found the end to cap it off, so obviously there will be some kind of leak under the driveway. Also in front of our house as soon as you step off the porch the sidewalk is supposed to be tilted a bit so water would run off, well water just sits there. It has been 2 days and John hasn't called me back, so we will see about that. Quality of work, very poor, we are very unhappy with the finished product even if it's not stamped it shouldn't look like crap. I would NOT recommend this company even to my own enemy. read more

I never take the time to write reviews, so this was important to me to let others know our experience. Please do not use this company. We did and were extremely disappointed. They took an entire summer season to give us a firepit on our stamped concrete deck and this was after numerous phone calls and the threat of media. We also got our driveway done through them. We were told by this company what was compatible with our driveway and what was allowed to drive on it on the specific amount of time. They also gave us a warranty. We called them a year later to speak of our driveway already crumbling and they told us it was our fault because we used salt (which we did not). We had other reliable contractors come out to look at the driveway in the meantime and they all said that it was Biondo's fault. It had to do with the cement mixture. we tried to call them and just speak with them about this and they did not honor their warranty, did not come out to look at the driveway and got rude over the phone and hung up. read more

We had our back patio, front porch, driveway and half garage done by Biondo and they did a fantastic job all around! The entire staff and crew are very professional, hard working, patient and very easy to work with (and believe me I am very particular about the details lol). We used all the services they offer - stamped concrete, exposed aggregate and regular cement and all three projects were reasonably priced and came out more beautiful than we could have imagined. My husband and I are both thrilled with the results and we have had nothing but compliments from our neighbors. The work was done extremely quickly but no details were left unturned. The crew went above and beyond to clean everything up (it was a huge mess to clean!). Biondo installed a new exposed aggregate patio and walkways for our home last summer (2019) and did an outstanding job! We receive compliments all the time. We're very pleased with the exposed aggregate because it's very durable and requires little maintenance. We chose to add the sparkles and it looks absolutely gorgeous! Not too flashy and it really adds a beautiful and unique look to the finished product. As for the Biondo staff, we can't say enough kind words! We had an excellent overall experience working with Biondo on our new patio. The estimator was very professional, transparent, and helpful in helping us come up with dimensions and design for our patio. We just had our patio done by Biondo. Let me emphasize, they did NOT disappoint!! They sent a 10 man crew to get it started on day 1. It was framed out, cement poured, and stamped all in a matter of 6 hours. These men worked very hard and very fast. Day 2, they came and cut, and power washed the cement. They even power washed my driveway that got dirty from the machines. Day 3 (last day) they stained and sealed it. And it is absolutely gorgeous! The whole crew were so nice and respectful, did a great job cleaning up any mess. Sherry was so informative and helpful! She used her magical powers to get it done in time for my birthday party. I recently had Biondo replace my driveway and walkway. Their work excellent. They are very sloppy. There was a lot of cement waste in front of my house and my neighbor's. Have them clean up all the cement waste while it is still wet. It's easier. They won't do it unless you tell them to. They also sprayed cement on my tree and bushes. Since it dried out I cannot clean it off any more. Clean it while it is wet!! I hope my tree will not be too badly damaged. HAVE THEM CLEANUP BEFORE paying the balance. Hire them for their good work. Get on their case to clean up immediately!! read more

We had a beautiful patio done with Biondo Cement. From the quote to the finish everything when smooth. Sherry called and informed us what the next step was. the crew was very friendly and asked us about the placement of some of the work. the work was done and completed in 3 days. the end result is gorgeous. we had exposed cement with a dark border and sparkles through out the patio. We contracted Biondo to remove our old Deck and replace with a new patio. From start to finish the project was handled professionally. All facets of the job were done on time and without incident.
