We hired Minez Concrete to pour a brand new, 200ft long driveway with curbs - one of the final stages of a lengthy and painful custom home build process. I paid extra for a sand finish. Not too happy with the way it turned out . The slab is uneven and lumpy in a few areas, with some brush marks visible, and already cracked in a couple of spots. They also failed to properly mask our garage door before the pour and ruined the bottom two panels with concrete splatter, which had to be replaced (they did cover some of the replacement cost). After the slab fully cured, I asked Oswaldo to come back and pressure wash the driveway a few times, but he never showed up to finish the job properly, which was disappointing. Their pricing is reasonable, but three stars is about right, considering the quality.

Palm tree roots had taken over the underground pipes along one side of our property, causing flooding and pooling every time it rained. Not exactly the water feature we had in mind! The solution was no small undertaking. It required cutting through concrete along the entire side of our property, locating and bypassing the compromised pipes, installing new drainage pipes and drains, connecting everything to the curb, and finally, pouring and finishing new concrete to seamlessly match our existing hardscape. SK Concrete handled it masterfully! Their crew arrived on time, was courteous and professional, communicated clearly throughout the project, and worked diligently to ensure every detail was done right. They also built a flat bad for the air conditioner and were easy to coordinate around with the AC vendor for disconnect/reconnect. Filiberto was friendly to work with and provided a reasonable quote for the work. He gave an itemized quote so we were able to decide what portions of our goal we could achieve with the funding we had available. The final cost exactly matched the quote I received. The team showed up on-time. They were very friendly and required no supervision. The project was cleaned up perfectly when complete. We requested a quote on November 13, began the project on December 10 and did a final walk through on December 30. That was probably a week extended due to delays (with my AC vendor) in moving the AC so the concrete could be poured and the Christmas holiday. I could not be more ecstatic with the final product. I was in need of someone to reassemble my bathroom after a minor mold problem came up.
