We started with a pool deck area and artificial rocks that were from about 15 years ago. Pretty faded and weathered. I was skeptical about treating them. We talked to a few companies and after several weeks we decided to work with Drew at OCD Concrete Coatings. I wanted to wait a few weeks before posting a review just in case anything changed. As you can see, I gave them 5 stars. Very happy with the outcome and have received several compliments. I will also add, Drew just seems like a good guy. read more

Wow!! Jaw-dropping Wow! That was my reaction seeing the finished transformation after Drew and his sons worked their magic to beautify our hideous portion of driveway concrete that was sadly jackhammered and poorly patched up after the repair of a cracked and leaking PVC pipe 3 feet below the concrete. Drew recommended a stone strip pattern with a textured coat finish and neutral coloring to match our landscape. We asked if adding a monogram as an accent was a possibility, and Drew was willing to take on the challenge. With his exquisite penmanship , he made it our own and gave it such unique character. We absolutely love it! It looks even more amazing in person. Best contractor I've worked with in years! Thanks Drew and sons! read more

Drew was quick to respond and maintained excellent communications from beginning to end of the project. We had a couple of unexpected weather issues preventing the job to move forward, but Drew was flexible and accommodating-- even willing to work on Saturdays to help get it done rather than push us out too far. Thanks, Drew. We'll be using your company again for our next pool concrete project. read more

Chun P. and I love our new home and have been fixing it up over the past few months. It's our first time having a backyard (yay!) but it was pretty neglected when we bought it - and really depressing. The old concrete on the patio was cracked up from root damage and had been stained who knows how long ago and looked awful. At our previous condo, I learned about the wonders of concrete re-coating, and knew that was the solution rather than full concrete demo and re-pour. I was referred to Drew by one of the turf companies I had gotten a quote from, and reached out to him. Drew was friendly, prompt, provided a good assessment of our situation and had a good selection of concrete artistry to select from. His quote was about $200 less than the company I had used at our previous condo! And Drew's color selection and finish was far better - the other company quoted a really basic solid color without frills. First we had JG Lawns take out some problem trees and overgrowth and install turf and river rocks. Then Drew and his sons came over. They protected the fresh turf, and carefully moved back the river rock and set to work! It was a 3-day process and turned out absolutely gorgeous! Drew and his sons were communicative, friendly and professional. The neighbors are stunned at the transformation. It's done so much for my mental health to be able to sit outside in the sunshine and start every morning in such a beautiful place. Drew's work is really artistry - and it's gorgeous! Very grateful to Drew and his family for this transformation! If your yard is sad - call them for a transformation! It's amazing! Turf is 'Coronado,' made in America and installed by JG Lawns. Drew from OCD Concrete did an amazing job on our grind and seal of our concrete slabs floors! You want someone who knows their stuff, Drew is your guy! He was professional, straightforward, extra knowledgeable, and timely. We have 1200sq ft house in which he finished the job in three days. We wanted that industrial flooring feel, and we love the character it has! We had a few rooms which had tiles so in those room you can see (in pics) that it created the tile imprint. And then our dining room has the regular concrete slab look if you didn't have tile. We absolutely love how it turned out. We'll definitely be using OCD again. read more

We got a custom color that we're in love with. Thank you Drew! read more

I had reached out to OCD concrete coatings after I had an issue with the rust-0-leam epoxy self kit. The epoxy coat from the kit was still tacky after I had applied it to my garage floor. Drew was a god send in 1. Removing the epoxy 2. sanding my garage floor so that I could re-apply a new coat. Since I didn't want to pay to professional have the epoxy applied, 3. Drew was so kind to stay after to ensure that I was mixing the chemicals together so that they cured properly and assisted with applying the coat to our floors. We couldn't have done any of this without his assistance. My wife and I truly appreciated the service you provided. Fortunately we won't be needing OCDs services in the near future but highly recommend anyone else who may need epoxy removal or epoxy application to their garage floor. Thanks again OCD concrete coatings for the exceptional service! read more

I contacted Drew (OCD) for a quote for our outdoor front entryway where we had sections of new and old concrete. We wanted the area to match and sought a cheaper alternative to tile, but something that looked nice and (for lack of better word) expensive. I want to mention that we also had a quote from a competitor, and the owner of that business wasn't very friendly and seemed disinterested in the project from the start. I'm not sure if it was too small a job, but our meeting felt rushed and I knew I didn't want to work with him once he drove away. Drew came out and had a very friendly disposition, was great at explaining the process and options, and sent me a quote that evening. The quote with OCD was just over half the price of the first quote and uses the same products. Drew was always timely once the project began, easy to communicate with throughout the process, and seems to have a lot of integrity so we are so happy we went with him. I HIGHLY recommend OCD to anyone looking for this type of work. The final product looks fantastic - even nicer than we had hoped/expected! read more

Drew transformed my patio room floor. It was in miserable condition before he ground, stained, and sealed it, making it exactly what I hoped it would be. On top of his superior workmanship, he was very professional, communicated thoroughly, and did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. He came out to my house last week to provide a quote, and finished the job yesterday. I couldn't be happier with the process and the outcome. read more

I am a consulting engineer and work from home. My garage is fundamental to my business. It is more than just a place to store things; it is a workshop and a place of inspiration. I spoke with several contractors about putting an epoxy floor in place. Most said, "Yeah, we can do it. Here's the cost and timing." Drew went several steps further. It was more that just cost and timing, it was about what I wanted to do with the space. He put in the floor I needed, and created the space I wanted. And he did it FAST! read more

OCD Concrete Coatings - Happiness is an epoxy floor from OCD Concrete Coatings. - Flooring Near Me - El Cajon, California

We had a backyard patio that was colored with red powder during the finishing process many decades ago. Over the years, the powder deteriorated to the point that it would get on our shoes and be tracked back into the house. OCD quickly determined the treatment needed and smoothly ground the top of the slab to remove the powdered layer. They also power washed the driveway and applied sealant to both surfaces. We were very happy with the results. Both areas look great. In addition, Drew the owner was very friendly and easy to work with. Using Venmo to pay for the work was very convenient. read more

I was considering a garage epoxy when I saw Andrew (Drew) doing an installation at a neighbor's home. They seemed to like him, so after speaking with him and obtaining an estimate I hired him. He arrived precisely at the time and date he promised and the job progressed just as he described. By the end of the week I had the beautiful finish that I hoped for. I appreciated the work so much I decided to ask him for an estimate for my front entryway. It progressed just like the garage epoxy job and I was quite pleased and satisfied. I have since had many complements on how well it looks. Drew may be new with his own business but is clearly experienced and professional at what he does. He does the work himself, unlike many contractors where you get the sell job from the owner/company and then never see them again. He is polite and professional and a genuine pleasure to work with. Significantly, he is also very careful about making sure everything is cleaned up at the end of each day and especially at the end of the project. I already have in mind my next project for Drew. When you discover someone like him you look forward to the next time. Thank you, Drew! read more

Drew and the team at OCD Concrete Coatings saved us. We made a mistake in believing a generic flooring guy (in this case, someone who had good tiling reviews) who told us that he could provide us a grind and seal concrete floor at a great price. Four days later and we had a mess on our hands: swirl marks in the concrete, uneven grinds, missed spots, inconsistent sealing - ugh. We called Drew and he fit us into his priority schedule. Talk about night and day - professional equipment, prompt and courteous services, and full explanations about strategy and process. Our floors our beautiful now. Drew is a solid ethical businessman and an artist with the concrete. Highly recommended. read more

From the first text with owner Drew (on a Friday night nonetheless) it was very clear he was far more skilled and knowledgeable about concrete than other contractors I spoke with. We had a disaster of a project started with another concrete company and contractor and needed an expert to take over. Seeing the machines OCD had compared to what the other contractors used was night and day. They've invested a lot in speciality equipment to get the job done right. He and his team were incredibly professional, careful and neat in their workmanship (not something easy to same about concrete demolition!). They worked tirelessly even with some curveballs to get the end result we desired. Truly went above and beyond for customer service both on site and at the end of the day anytime I had questions via text. Drew is very talented with artistic and custom finishes. I highly recommend OCD and will recommend them to any friends and interior design clients who need concrete or epoxy work of any kind. They totally transformed a mess of a space and were a pleasure to work with. So uncommon these days! read more

I typically do not post reviews, but Andrew and his crew at OCD Concrete Coatings are exceptional. The cost of the job was fair, and the results were outstanding. While speaking with Andrew you will find him to be down to earth and will patiently answer your questions in layman's terms. They are punctual and accessible. I cannot tell you how many times I have given money to a contractor, and they go on to disappoint on one level or another (when it's too late to turn back).
