My very old Kenmore dryer stopped heating up and wouldn't stop when you opened the door. After watching too many youtube videos I knew I couldn't figure out what was actually wrong or how to fix it. Most of The Technician On Refrigerator service Don't Have Any Idea About How To Properly Repair The Frig. They Send Us A Technician With the Name Of "Boris". He Came & I explained To Him The Frig Does Not Get cold Enough & Does Not Freeze .He Said He needs To Change A Few Parts, Namely A Fan & Thermostat.He Charged Me $70.00 For visit & Said If I Decide To Repair The Frig The Total Cost would Be $460.00. Later On That Day He Called Me Again To Say That He Can Change The Quote To $420.00 Total ( Crediting For Original Service Call $70.00, Which Is Standard In Industry). I Accepted he Quote & Next Day He Showed Up With Two Parts ( Later On I Knew That Parts Are Available On Amazon For Less Than $50.00). He Spent About 30 minuetes & Changed The Parts. He Quickly Demanded The $350.00 Payment . I Gave Him a Check But Before That I Asked him, Please To Stay On For A Few minuetes To see If The Frig Is Working Property Or Not. He Was Very Rude & Demanding Payment ,As Quickly Possible-As He Needed To Go To Other Jobs. I Asked Him There Is Another Noise Coming From Back Of Frig, But He Assured Me That Noise Is Normal. Next Day I Called Their So ,Called Office & Spoke With Andrew About What Has Happened To My Invoice, That He Promised Day Before To Send, For The Job Also Promises Of 6 Months Full warranty, Which I Have Never Received. I Also Mentioned That Noise Is Coming From Back Of Frig Still Very Loud & He Needs To Send Other Technician To Inspect The Loud noise That "Boris" Previously Had Said It Was Normal. About 2 Hours Later "Boris" Showed Up Again & I Told Him That Noise Coming From Condesor Fan. He Looked At It & Said That He Needs Change Condensor Fan Blade., Which It Will Cost $8.00 Plus $160.00 aditionally For Labor. First of all ,He Was Totally Wrong Again About The Fan Blade. It Was Not The Fan Blade That Was Faulty. It Was The Fan motor That Needed to Be replaced. When Next Day , I Ordered Both ORIGINAL Fan Blade & Motor From Amazon, Which It Cost Me $30.00 Total & Then Asked him To Come & Replace It , He Refused To Do That & Send Me A Few Dragatory Text Messages. The Frig Is Supposed To Be On Warranty For 6 Months But They Don't Honor Their Own Warranty At All. I Finally replaced The Fan & Motor By A Highly Respected AMERICAN OWENED Company " Angelic Appliance Service" For less Money & He Also Spending Checking & Repairing The Frig For Over 1.5 Hours Total Time. Apprearently What I Gather Information , There Are A Lot of Newly Arrived RUSSIAN CON, MAFFIA STYLE People, Ripping Off A Lot Of People Here In LA & SAN DIEGO COUNTY With No Or Little Experience In Repairing Frig, Stove, Air Conditiong, Washing Machines, Etc ( They Call One Another In Russian Language To Ask Questions About Repairs). They Are RUSSIAN (& Sometimes They Claim They Are Ukrainian) They Have Many Names Under Apprarently Many Different Mobile Numbers , Constantly changing, With No Proper Physical Addresses , Ripping Off The Public . What Most Of Do Is They Claim That Some Parts Are Faulty & They Need To Be Changed , Expecially Most Expensive Parts Like Computer Board. Next day They Show Up With New Parts , Take So Called ,new Part Out Of Box & Install ,Then They Put old Part In The Box For Next Customers & take It with Them, Which the Old Part Wasn't Faulty In The First Place & Frig Or Other Machine ,Didn't needed That Parts Replacement & Only Needed Minor Adjustment Or cheaper Parts. We noticed that our Refrigerator just died and we didn't know what we were going to do. After a few calls I was able to talk to Alex. He was very nice explaining how if someone came out it would be a fee $69.99. He said that would be a deductible. He made a call, was able to get someone out to look at our refrigerator and they would be here between 5 & 7. We thought perfect. We received a text from Tim C and that they were on there way. It was almost 6 then. Which was fine we weren't quite sure what we were going to do. The Refrigerator was just not working and everything was defrosting quickly. After a little bit of time they told us what was wrong and gave us a quote. We were like ok that's not what we were looking to spend. We told him we would just go out and get a new Refrigerator. I mean ours was already 14 years old. So we paid the fee. After they left we decided we would just have them fix it. We let them know and they called and ordered the parts. Tim apologized that the parts would not be in for a couple of days. If it came in early enough they would be here to install it. Which they did but then they came across another problem. Something with the starter for the new compressor was not working together and they would need to order that part. Before they left Tim C said that they found someone who had the part and if they could get it they would be back asap to finish up otherwise they would be back the next morning. They got the part, installed it that same evening. Refrigerator was up and running again. We can not say enough about these two men. We felt comfortable with them and you could also tell if they hadn't gotten the parts they wouldv'e felt really bad leaving us with no refrigerator still. So it was a little more than expected but we highly recommend this company and these men. They take pride in their work and seem to be really nice guys as well. Came out twice to repair a dishwasher that ran continually but wouldn't shut off. Reportedly replaced control board, which didn't fix the problem. Came out and said there was a problem with moisture because the water sensor was the cause and we need a plumber. Got a second opinion...bad control board, no leak or moisture. Called ServiCenter to let them know, but they just said it would be another service charge to come out. The worst customer service I can imagine, and I can only guess they never even replaced the control board in the first place and charged for it. read more

I was house sitting for my family members for the past 2 weeks. I live in Los Angeles, so you can imagine what was going through my head when I woke up yesterday morning, walked into the kitchen just to find a giant puddle of water on the floor. I opened up the refrigerator to find both the freezer and fresh food section are warm, everything is thawing out and beginning to spoil. I began to search for appliance repair companies online and calling one after another without any success of getting one out same day. This is a sub-zero built in refrigerator, which apparently can only be serviced by a sub-zero specialist and every company I'd call either couldnt work on them or didnt have one available for a minimum of 4 days. After calling half a dozen or so repair centers I was finally able to reach these guys. The representative stated that they can have a specialist come out on the same day from 12-4. I instantly agreed. They told me they charge 69$ for a service call and estimate. If I decide to do the repairs those 69$ will be applied towards the repairs and that they will call me 30 min prior to arrival. At 12:15 or so I got a call that the tech is on his way and will be there in half an hour. Sure enough in 30 min he was here like clockwork. The techs name was Alex. And honestly I am taking the time to write this review because of him. I mean this guy was something else. Very polite, courteous, and extremely knowledgable in his trade. It took him about 2 min to diagnose the unit and conclude that the compressor isn't pumping freon through the system and it will be costly to repair. But since this is a very expensive built in unit, that would be the cheapest option by far. I needed a new compressor, freon, and etc. He gave me the best deal he could which I later found out was way cheaper than anyone else would do it for and got the unit up and running same day.
