The ambiance is casual and family-oriented, not too noisy even when full, and (best of all) there's No TVs. Heavenly! I had the pasta Apuli (minus the red pepper flakes), she had the Spaghetti Olio and we split a bruchetta and a cannoli for a to-go dessert. The portions are so large, we needed to-go boxes for both dinners even though we ordered the half sizes! Generous doesn't begin to describe this place. Our server was warm and attentive without 'hovering' and the host stopped by to ensure all's well. We're coming back through town on Monday and I think we'll be back again!

Great little place on US12 in Jonesville MI. The building was built in 1852 and became Rosalies Roadhouse in 1986. This place has a history of the halfway point between Chicago and Detroit and was used as a meeting spot for the mob leaders before they would go to their lake houses, the upstairs was a brothel at one time. The restaurant was started by the owners mother, who will be 80 soon. The atmosphere is quaint with rustic feel. The food is impressive and the service is really great. Rosalies was named a Yuegling distributor. This is a place that offers a good selection and great atmosphere.

My pasta was good and served at the proper temperature, however, my wife wasn't as lucky. The salmon she ordered was fine, but it was covered in scallions that were not mentioned on the menu. Her pasta, supposed to be served room-temperature, was cold, as if it had sat around waiting for the salmon. Our server was fine, however, she could have been much better. I really wish restaurants would realize that customers sitting in their dining rooms have chosen them over all their competition and treat them accordingly. I'm sure we could have had a similar experience somewhere else for the same $50. I wanted to give 4+ Stars today, but am unable due to the entire experience.
