I used PP for this visit last week. If I had to pay out of pocket for this meal, I would rather go eat at Wendys. Well. It's an airport yes, but that's no excuse for such terrible service. I came alone and at first the woman seating folks motioned to a table in the middle of two other groups (a little awkward for me being solo) I asked her if I could sit at a small available table by the window. At first she tried to insist I sit in the middle section but when I explained it felt awkward she said I could sit at the window table and someone would be over to serve me in a minute. Well 20 minutes later no one has come and servers are buzzing around every other table. I finally get up and go over to a server to ask if they forgot about me. I watch that server go right up to the very woman who seated me and that woman LIES to her and flat out says "I didn't seat her" and then turns away and marches off in the other direction. What??? Atlanta Airport. To start off ....I was traveling with my family including our puppy Fendi. I approached Maggie a waitress and ask if we can bring Fendi in to there establishment. Maggie replied yes. I replied, we will have the chicken wings. Do you have lemon pepper? Maggie replied what you see on the menu is what we have. I immediately ask to see the manager. Maggie replied sure whatever. The manager, Traci came over and apologized for Maggie's rudeness. She then took our orders. Besides Maggie I have to say it is our first time here not sure if I will ever return to this location. The other person in my party ordered the catfish sandwich and she said that it was great and didn't leave any behind. I was only able to grab a drink right as they were closing (no food), but in the 20 minutes I was there I had the pleasure of being served by Annette (she was awesome and the reason for 3 stars instead of 1!!!) and simultaneously experienced the disgust of watching orders being yelled by some woman with her hand on her hip and her fingers pointing at various tasks (e.g. sweeping up a lone food wrapper on the floor) that needed to be done. I tried to get her name from her name badge but I couldn't make it out (closing manager on 10/18/19 at 10:30pm). At no point did she step up to do any work herself, and I observed each and every staff member moving super quickly to serve customers and clean up/close the bar at the same time (with pleasant attitudes). I'm sorry but this is SUCH a turn off--I have no desire to support an establishment that treats their frontline workers like crap and allows some bigheaded fool to bark and point. We had a three hour layover in the ATL airport, and decided to eat lunch at Samuels Adams in concourse B. The service was good, but the food was not appetizing at all. I had a pulled chicken sandwich with a BBQ sauce on it, plus fruit. The fruit was pretty good, but I would definitely not get the sandwich again. It did not look or taste good. This was quite possibly the worst airport dining experiences I've had in almost 30 years of traveling. I walked up to the host/hostess stand where there was a sign that said, please wait to be seated. I waited there for five minutes and several servers walked by me and did not acknowledge my presence. At that point, I figured it was seat yourself. Now the seating area is confusing, but I got a table a few away from where the server was serving. After sitting there for almost 15 minutes I walked up to the server, a grumpy Asian fellow, and I pointed to my seat and asked him how I could order....he told me wait a second. He proceeded to clean the table and walked away and never came back to me. A few minutes later, he walked another couple over to the table, sat them down, brought them water and took their order. Now mind you those people were not in line behind me. I walked back up to the host host/hostess stand and tracked down another server and pointed to my table and asked him how I got food and he proceeded to tell me that was the food court not their seating area. The grumpy Asian fellow could've easily sat me down at the table he was just cleaning, but instead he just ignored me. After almost 35 minutes I never got seated and left the restaurant. DISGUSTING AND OVERPRICED SWILL! DON'T EAT AT SAM ADAMS! I had only a short time between flights as probably most travelers have. I ordered a beer and a hamburger. The beer was good and was served quickly, but the food took about 30 minutes and it was awful. The hamburger was cold and tasted like the MYSTERY MEAT of my grade school cafeteria. The broccoli was cold and mushy, the server brought new broccoli - hot, but tasteless. I ate the burger only because I was starving and now only had a few minutes to get to the gate. Good food but extremely slow service! For being an airport restaurant, the service is extremely slow. After I was seated, it took more than 10 minutes for a waitress to take my order. She was very friendly and returned a few minutes later with my draft beer. Unfortunately the waitresses don't seem to have sections and they're a little all over. After 20 more minutes of waiting, I had to flag my waitress to inquire about my appetizer, which I assumed would be quick as it was pretzel bites. About 10 minutes later (now about 30 minutes since ordering) I received the pretzel bites and my chicken salad wrap entree. The waitress never checked back and I had the flag her down to inform they incorrectly gave me potato chips instead of the coleslaw I ordered. I got the coleslaw finally after I was done. Luckily I had plenty of time before my flight but I saw three parties walk out while I was seated and I'd likely not return. read more
