If I could give Roach Towing negative stars, I would. This has got to be one of the worst experiences I've had with a business. I will preface this by saying that we just had a massive snow storm, and the plowing situation has been somewhat of a nightmare. My coworker needed to stop by my place to get work done, and accidentally parked in the wrong spot. His car was subsequently towed. Why he left all of his belongings in his car, I don't know, but his wallet, apartment keys, etc. were locked inside and carried off. We called Roach Towing and explained the situation. We spoke to MIKE or MARK and he was one of the nastiest "customer service agents" I've ever had the pleasure of speaking to. He told my coworker to go find a homeless shelter since he was now locked out of his apartment and also said he'd retrieve my coworker's keys if he received $1000 up front. Not only is that heartless, that's ILLEGAL. We went the next day and were told they were closed, despite two men actively working there. My coworker begged the supervisor to give him just his keys - we are doctors and he had to get to work. The supervisor allowed him to take the keys and told him he could not have the car but to return the next day. I left the hospital and drove my coworker this morning to pick up his car. Mike/Mark was at the window and was being super shady about the bill. My coworker had to ask several times about why the fee was so high, and Mike/Mark continued to deny him the chance to look at the bill. Finally, my coworker got angry enough and started raising his voice at which point he was shown the bill. I told Mark/Mike he really could use a lesson in customer service and he then told me as a doctor I should learn to control my temper. The only positive thing I have to say is Steve and Frank who were towing cars were friendly and tried to help us. Mike/Mark acted exactly like the name of this company - A ROACH. I hope my path never crosses with this miserable person again. read more
