My receipt stated a new fuel pump had been installed as well as an electrical ignition switch. We had to pull the fuel tank our selves and discovered a new fuel pump had not been installed as I was charged for. Comer charged me over $250.00 for work not done. The actual fuel pump costs 75.00, we installed the new and the truck runs great! My anger stopped me from dealing with Comer, decided to tell all the folks I know, be careful when dealing with this business, they are not honest. I simply will not patronize Comer's. I contacted Terry on Monday morning and he was straight on with the recovery and repair of the truck which was finished by Tuesday. Terry kept me updated throughout and fixed it for half the price I expected. I was unable to recover the truck until Saturday and Terry immediately offered to collect me from the airport after dropping off the rental (100 mile round trip for him) which saved me the cost of a Taxi back to Gatesville. When I got home I looked closer at my rim and noticed that the rim was completely scratched up. I have a brand new car, with zero damage on any wheel. So I called and was told to bring it in the next day. So I did. The guy told me that in all his years of working, when using the tool that removes the tire from the rim, it always damages the rim. (I literally have that on video) so apparently every wheel they've ever fixed has been damaged by this machine. I cannot imagine a company would make a product that knowingly damages clients property and think it's ok. The guy took my info and said they'd call me. Never heard from them again. Called today and was told they would refund my money and try to buff it out. To me that's not acceptable. So I get that it's a minor thing and obviously doesnt effect how my car drives- however it's the principal of the thing. They damaged my car and refuse to fix it. It's not right and they need to retrain everyone how to use the machine properly.
