I called City Window Tint looking for someone to tint my Tesla Model Y. Previously I had called around to other tint shops in the area but none sounded like they had a ton of experience working with Teslas. When I called City Window Tint, the owner, Nelson, was super helpful and was very knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and I felt really good about going to see them. I walked in at 11:30 am and basically got seen right away (it's walk-in only). My car was finished in less than 30 mins. I think I spent more time talking story with Nelson than the time it took to finish my 2 windows. I highly recommend this company. Customer service is top notch and so is the quality of the work and products they use. They even do the clear film for the front of your car to prevent rock chips. This is mainly a review on customer service and price as it hasn't been long enough to give a review on quality yet. However, I went in on May 4,2020 around 3:30pm and got a quote for my Nissan Sentra. The guy I spoke with (assuming he's the owner I never got his name) told me the price and didn't try to up sell me and he was very knowledgeable about everything dealing with tinting laws and helped me with the better choice than what I originally wanted. He wasn't about the money just wanted to make sure that I left the shop taken care of. Unfortunately he couldn't get me in that day because he had a lot of cars ahead of me before closing I'm assuming. But he told me to definitely come back the next day and it's based off first come first serve because they don't do appointments. So that's what I did came back bright and early the next day at 8:00 am. And there was no problems I dropped my car off and around 10:30 they called and told me my vehicle is ready. I am very pleased with the service and I love my new tint on my windows! Prices are reasonable and customer service is superb. So I highly recommend!! read more

Left tools inside and wouldn't fix the bubble issue on my passenger side window. Their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with and would never recommend to anyone read more

First let me say I will not be reviewing the price as the dealership paid the bill as an add-on when buying a new vehicle. I will only be reviewing the very poor workmanship and the unprofessionalism of the staff. I bought a new 2017 vehicle with only seven miles on it so this is not a vehicle with years of wear and chips or anything like that. The dealership hired City Window Tint to tint the entire vehicle. As far as the time it took to do the job, it was quick but poor workmanship usually is. I was given the standard "do not roll down, wash windows, etc for 3-5 days to give the film time to cure" just like from any other installer and told all air bubbles would disipate during that time. After the first three days of 100+ temps, I first noticed the drivers door still had bubbles and a crease in the film. I took it back and was told by the installer "tinting will never be perfect" . I explained the crease looked like a cracked window and insisted that winow be re-done and I would give the other windows the remaining two days to see if bubbles disappeared. The drivers door was re-done and I waited five more days at which time, I cleaned the winows with a mixture of water and a few drops of joy dishwashing liquid. After cleaning, everyone could clearly see there were bubbles still in the film and if you rubbed your hand across the window, you could feel small bumps like pieces of dirt under the film. Being I was supposed to have a "lifetime warranty" I took the vehile back and met with Nelson. Before being able to show Nelson all the defects to see if we could redo some of the tint, Nelson replied "I just want to take it off and let you take it somewhere else" which made me believe their "lifetime warranty" meant as long as you never bring it back but if there were issues with the workmanship the service after the sale is not a priority because they have already been given your money. After that level of professsionalism I did not want him or any of his staff to perform any more work on my vehcile. I would gladly pay extra for a quality window tint establishment to remove the shotty job performed by City Window Tint. So if you are looking for a cheap job in which service after the sale isn't an option, this is your place. But if you are looking for a professional job that has a leftime warranty that actually means something, look past this place. The old saying is true "you get what you pay for". read more
