Awesome experience only because a guys that works at rotisserie. He always has fresh chicken for me and man when I tell you Sam's chicken has been so very good since he started working I MEAN IT everybody. His coworkers say his name is Tee but I never got to ask because how busy he is but he's pretty awesome at his job. THAT MAN NEEDS A RAISE!! All jokes aside I hope he has so many blessings in life, also want to thank him for how polite he was to my little girl very respectful. read more

Why have I not reviewed this place yet?? I love my local Sam's! They have everything I need here and it's easy to get into compared to the other Sam's down the way. Staff is friendly, place is always clean. The only thing I don't like is the new self scanning kiosk they added. I like when the cashiers are there better. They also stopped serving Nathan hotdogs at the food stand. That came really handy during Harvey! I've also noticed they started selling a lot more of the Member's Mark brand wine. It's not bad but I prefer the old ones they used to sell. But these won't stop me from coming back. Love my Sam's! read more

The main reason I like Sam's club is that they have great deals on tires. They often have buy a set of 4 for the price of 3 on certain brands they carry a few times through out the year. They also have great prices on alot of other stuff. Only store in the area that sells the new Cosmic Crisp hybridized apples I was looking for....as in the ones you eat; not the tech stuff. read more

Although I much prefer the other large warehouse store (Their initials might rhyme with CC), Sam's in the only real option if you live on the Gulf Freeway south of Beltway 8. With that being said, when we do go to Sam's, we go to the Texas City location. If is MUCH MUCH MUCH easier to get to than the El Dorado location, which is currently buried behind road construction and the resulting traffic jam. The Texas City location is normally pretty clean and well organized. As normal, I find myself buying more than what I went in for originally. The staff is normally helpful. Also, in case you have not heard, Sam's now takes all forms of payment including AMEX. I am normally not a fan of buying an extended warranty. However, on TV's I have learned from experience that buying an extended warranty will normally pay off. The TV warranties at Sam's are priced based upon what the TV cost. I think $499 and less will cost $49 and more than $500 will be $99. That will extend your warranty by four years. Read the details in case it has changed but if I remember correctly, those are the numbers. All in all, for a Sam's Club, I give the Texas City location 4 stars. I took my Ford F series truck to Sam's today to get new tires. Come to find out they are not able to install tires on my truck. They don't have the necessary equipment to do the job. It's hard to believe that they can't install tires on the best selling vehicle in America. This is Texas, who can't put tires on a truck? The answer is Sam's. The staff was very nice and it's not their fault that they don't have the proper tools to do the job. read more

Undermanned, the service they provide is great. Waiting for someone to help you because they are playing duel roles, not so great. Hire someone to work the front and answer the ringing phones already. My guess is every missed call is a missed customer for this location and there are a percentage of walk ins that leave as well. Helpful staff, easy to follow store layout. Had the new Sams app on my phone so as we shopped , I scanned everything to the basket. Had a little trouble with check out, but that was operator error. The wife and I had a great afternoon shopping, went with the intent to buy Thanksgiving supplies, and ended up Christmas shopping. read more

I am in LOVE with this Sam's Club -- although that I have to argue that to me, it lies in Texas City and not La Marque. I stopped going to the Friendswood location due to the aisles always being sparse, lackluster customer service, and I could never find what I set out to buy. the truth is the Friendswood location has gone down hill. My search for a specific item led me to the La Marque location and I am so glad it did! This seems to be a newer location but the people working here make you feel like it's been here forever. It's super clean and very well stocked. It is smaller compared to others around town but they don't lack anything that those other stores have. I love that this is an in-and-out experience (cashiers are working multiple lanes) making it an efficient shopping trip. The staff and the well kept store justify my 13 mile drive to this store.... I currently have a membership through my employer but have had a private or work membership for over 20 years ... I had a cart full of items and tried to check out and they said my companies membership had expired .. I had to go to customer service l.. She was not polite .. She questioned who I was and said "are you sure you are on this account?" Well duh there is my card with my picture on it you gave me. I tried to call my CEO to see if I could just pay it with my company credit card but he did not answer . I asked for a day pass just for that day since our company has had a membership for over ten years and I was sure it was just an oversight by accounting . She refused and told me I had to purchase a $45 personal account to buy my items .. I had a full cart .. I had been shopping 45 minutes lol.. Seriously?????? Chalk this up to why I go to Costco 99.5% of the time .. Today I was just supper busy and went to this place instead .. Just rude and stupid customer service I ended up buying a personal membership on my iPhone and then checking out using the scan app.. Be as rude as you want lady .. Omg, they suck! They have no idea what they are talking about. We have a flat tier, they sent us someone who could not even hear properly and rambled random things. I was there yesterday and took a sample of pizza from contractors that are serving. Girl Brittany was so rude because I took a piece from 2nd row she scolded me in front of customers. I put it back and she grabbed it and threw it in trash and said I had contaminated it. I was humiliated and embarrassed for the way she talked to me. I reported her to her manager. He was not apologetic just a thank you for telling him. I will never go to this store again. I have been a Sam's customer for 27 years and never have I been treated in this manner. read more

I love Sam's and have had my membership for many years. It's your typical Sam's Club and it's not many bad things to say about this location. I find this store to be clean and the inventory is always well stocked. My only complaint is the check-out process takes a while because it seems there are never enough cashiers. I am pretty sure she thought her face would break apart if she smiled. Wouldn't scan the heavy few items in the bottom if a cart because "she" had to transfer them to a cart. She didn't. We have had good service from this clean, bright store. Our most recent large purchase was a mattress. When the gal at the front desk saw our disdain for the newly disclosed 99.00 delivery fee (we live 4 miles from the store) she asked if we'd like help securing it on the top of my SUV. She and two male associates proceeded to help us get twine and take care of it. Had it home for free and no waiting for it to be delivered. Three excellent employee's to have. I arrived at Sam's Automotive at 1015 am for an 11 o'clock SCEDULED appointment with Jeanine for 4 tires. I waited 30 minutes to get to talk to sales associate she said appointment my husband Greg made with HER, "Not in the book". She said 4 cars were in front of me at 1038 am. She estimated a 2 hour wait. Dante associate 2485 took over. At 1230 I asked how much longer, and was told AGAIN 4 cars were in front of me- 2 hours had passed. My car had not been touched! They gave NO explanation and NO apology. I left my 2 young daughters with a babysitter so they would not have to wait with me! I asked for a refund of my prepaid bill and left DISGUSTED. I DO NOT recommend anybody take their car their for service. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love Sam's club and would hate to let one worker ruin my experience. I come 2 times a week and love how nice and efficient it is. However, I went to self check out and a worker was being really rude. The machine didn't take my form of payment and she snatched it out of my hand to try it. I asked a simple question and she caught a bad attitude with me and ruined the experience. Overall, I love the place and how clean it is. Just that time was a horrible experience for me. read more
