Pretty generic Sams Club, if with three benefits. First is the cheapest consistent fuel costs in the area. Second was excellent inventory; stuff that's commonly out of stock was indeed in stock, including our staple food items. Third, there were a lot of associates who were able to answer questions quickly and easily. This compares to other locations where they're absent or seemingly understaffed. This one has actual people to help you find things, and this is good for this reason: it's not laid out like many Sam's Club stores. I liked the help. Prices are what we expected and slightly lower than the Indiana Sams we normally go to. read more

The cafe is terrible if you're ordering a whole pizza. I came to realized it is a specific associate that doesn't tell you how long the wait may be. she takes your name for the order but doesn't call out the name whenever it is ready so your order may be done while you're still sitting there waiting for your name to be called. Anytime I go and order a vanilla sundae they run out of vanilla and asked if they can substitute the rest of chocolate I don't want chocolate that's why I asked for vanilla. I've always been a loyal Costco shopper and never really a fan of the Walmart stores. I happened to see a Groupon for a $15 annual membership to Sam's and figured why not. It's definitely very similar to Costco in the items they offer and even the setup of the store. What I do like is they have a big selection of snacks, their toy selection is pretty large although a good chunk of things are knockoff brand. They have a few items that Costco doesn't have so I'll definitely be heading here for certain things. They even have Sushi! I can say I'm definitely a fan now! read more

Brought a dead battery in for a swap. Their battery center employee put it on a testing device, which showed it to be functional (device displayed a green light). Employee told me that I probably had a bad starter. I asked if they could attempt a charge, to which he affirmed, but remarked that it would take about 30 minutes. I received a call from that employee 30 minutes later saying the battery was bad and a replacement was waiting for me. Had I not requested the charge, I would have taken the bad battery home, had my vehicle towed to a garage only to have them tell me my starter was functional and the battery was dead. That would have been a dismal customer experience. Thankfully, I was convinced the battery was bad and requested the additional charge... and after installing the replacement, my vehicle started without issue. I like shopping at Sam's club. What I hate about it is employees speaking to me every time a check out trying to get me to upgrade or sign up for the credit card. It actually makes me want to cancel my membership. I just want to be able to shop, check out and leave. The problem is it happens every time I check out. This was the biggest Sam's club store I have seen. Became a member of Sam's Club recently and I mostly use COSTCO. Compared to the nearest COSTCO that I visit often, this place is comparable in both product and the prices. I would recommend these stores especially considering that membership is cheaper than COSTCO here. Areas are divided as per the product category and have tons of options for almost everything. They even have a cafe near the exit and a gas station outside. The most I love is the mobile app scan and checkout feature that makes it so easy to shop and leave without waiting in the cashier's queue. I've gotten my tires here for years. Sunday at 1 I went to buy 4 new tires tires I bought them and was asked to come back Monday to have them installed because they didn't have time there was 2 cars ahead of me of me I set an appointment for yesterday. Well they said I was missing a lug nut they couldn't find all my tire caps till I started asking which one was a thief. Not sure Sam's Corporate cares but here's my review anyway. I like Sam's club and not willing to cancel my membership over this but it's super annoying when I try to return an $11 unopened pack of socks that was purchased on 4/11/22 (todays 6/4/22) and the manager somehow can't find my receipt. Even after I told him the date it was purchased. What is the point of having a membership??? I know they use my data for everything else, but not to help the customer? The manager (not willing to throw this person under the bus) said that lots of things get taken from the store, implying that the policy is not to find my receipt??? I really don't care that the Walton Family has a theft problem but somehow makes the Forbes list every year. Treating customers with this policy is ridiculous. I was in the area so I thought I would stop by this location. Much busier than the Surprise location I am used to. They still kept things flowing smoothly. It really bums me put when we find a staple for our home in grocery or toiletries and they disappear. That is Sam's Club across the board. I appreciate the good deals though I am not sure if I really benefit much after the annual membership fee as we don't eat out of thr box as much as other families do so we don't really purchase as much as others. I do have a Sam's Club credit card. I love the cash back bonuses you get the first year which makes us $50 a month cash back we can use on Sam's Club purchases. Besides staples my favorite part is the center of the store, where all the decor, toys and books are. Though I wish they offered more and we didn't always run into the same ol same ol. Store is always clean and organized for being so busy. Spacious isles and friendly employees. You can get some really good deals. Keep an eye out for the sales as well read more

Having a Sam's club business membership is the only way to go if you can get one through your work. It lets you get in earlier than the regular shoppers so the place isn't as busy. Granted you will get there before the food taste tester carts are out, but so long as you aren't there to graze like a moo cow it's much nicer shopping when the parking lot is nearly empty and checkout lines are short. Great deals on everything of course, but especially on ribeyes right now. I saved about twenty bucks versus what I would pay for the same steaks at my local Safeway and the steaks were of much better quality. read more

Don't go on Saturday night when the B team is working. All nasty., Won't even look at you when you speak to them. I left my wallet in shopping cart and Danielle who answered the phone was incredibly nasty and made me run around the store looking for a manager while she was in possession of it and had me on hold on the phone for 30 minutes. Just sick attitudes and behaviors. And the very young very rude "manager" was incredibly condescending and hateful. I try to treat everyone with respect. Especially when I have the power in a situation. I guess this is what you get when only bottom of the barrel is available, I will add that I wouldn't want anyone to get treated how I was. I did my best to be respectful and communicate effectively and was met with nasty entitlement. I don't think anyone of substance was on duty, and so the very immature staff on hand had an attitude of zero care or respect for customer time or experience. After standing in line for 15 minutes at customer service for the nasty Daniele I politely asked if she could go for back up. Which prompted a sarcastic "give me a minute." After 10 more minutes that hateful manager ambled up and did not even look at me when I tried to speak to him about my transaction. They were not busy, at least not with their job duties. "The vibe was leave me alone I'll get to you when I get bored enough." After I left and discovered I'd lost my wallet the real fun began. Just be aware. Today, I had the best service ever. I got to Sam's Club to pick up a cupcake order at 10ish am on my way to a 1030am baby shower. I get there and the bakery tells me, we don't have an order for you. I checked my receipt and noticed it was ordered at the Sams near my home not my work. I immediately realized I was not going to make it all the way to Surprise then back to work and a little panic set in. They pointed to the premade cupcakes and shared there were some options there. Since we knew the gender, those were not the best option. I returned to the counter and "BRIANNA" said, if you would like white whipped topping, I can make them up for you right now. She also offered sprinkles. I told her then and I am repeating it here. Brianna, you are the best person in the world today! Thank you so much for your help! On September 29th 2020 just after 10 am I Jennifer Alvarez was a victim of a racism in Sams Club locates at 18501 N. 83rd Avenue, Glendale, Arizona 85301 . Upon entering the store I was treated by a security guard at the entrance. I was also greeted by a guest service member whom I asked where to go for returns. The greater then instructed me to wait behind the yellow line and pointed to the location and line. I wasn't in line for much time when I noticed 2 more guest approach. I could hear the two discuss where the line began and where to stand. One of the guest made a comment that I needed to move up and I explained to them I was instructed to wait at the yellow line by guest services. This guest then pushed his was in front of the other guest and myself to get in front of what he thought was the line. I then proceeded to tell the guest he was cutting in front of not only myself but the other guest. The guest then said I was waiting for my people. I then told the guest he was being rude and he shoved his way back to where he was. I then said this is cookoo and he told me to kiss his ass and to speak English which by the way I had been this entire time. The 2nd guest that was behind me was a person who was there for an interview. The rude guest then asked for a manager and it was then my turn at customer service. I finished my transaction when a guest member associate approached me and asked me what happened I explained to them what I've said here and the member said that guest would be told to leave the club. Another member approached me asked the same questions again I gave my explanation but this member said the offending member would be allowed to stay in the store to avoid any retaliation from this individual. I was then asked if I needed an escort I said no continued to shop but as I made my through the store I became paranoid of the color blue same color of shirt the offending member was wearing. I intended to shop for more items but fear took over me and I paid for my merchandise on the stores app asked for an escort to my vehicle. It wasn't until the shock wore off that I realized how much this is affecting and what message this is sending out known racial verbal offenders are tolerated and welcomed in your establishment. Recently my partner purchased a beautiful diamond heart necklace online and on sale. When we received it the chain was broken. We called this store and were told to bring it in and they would swap it out. We did and it was a nightmare. First of all we couldn't get anyone to help us. Finally a young Hispanic woman walked by and said I'll be back. It was another 10 minutes after that that she finally addressed us. Then she asked for a credit card and was going to bill us full price on the replacement claiming the sale was only online. We would have like to exchange it for the bigger necklace but she indicated we would pay full price. This young woman has the title of manager but she doesn't seem to have the skills to actually manage. She was rude. Then we tried to do the whole online return and we had several non-American people that we couldn't understand so we just gave up. We will never make another online purchase from Sam's. I am BEYOND wowed by the customer service I received!!! I initially spoke to Lisa who then transferred me to Barry for further assistance. I then dealt with Terrel who was beyond caring and helpful!! I give kudos to them all, but I must give a shout out to Terrel for going above and beyond for me!! All three of these employees are major assets to Sam's Club!! Stopped to get a rotisserie chicken today, the cook said would be 45minutes, we said we'll walk around, 45 minutes later we come back and the chicken is being cooked 515 degrees, looking good, the timers go off at 5pm 1 hour after the 45 minute time frame, he's evidently on a lunch break, he appears and the chickens are getting over done, doesn't turn them off and I comment they are over done, now, they start handing them out, i by pass on 5 and grab the one that's least burnt, I was honestly surprised at the nonchalant way of the cook, very disappointed in the product, I picked the chickens up for a fun night with my parents who are not doing to good, your chickens I've always considered the best, this one has me tempted to move over to Costco! read more

What an awful experience. Started off helpful, then told us to call Sam's.com number for our return. So I do. 47 minutes later get answered, and then put back on hold 3 times before the stores employee gets on the phone and tells him we need an English speaker at 1:17 on the phone. He puts her on hold on my phone. While still on hold Ashley(store employee) Ashley takes her lunch break. At 2:30 on hold we see Ashley back from her break, so we again say we are still on hold. She whispers something to another coworker, and then says "at this point it doesn't matter what they say on the phone(from Sams.com)my managers say that we won't take it, and they are on their way to tell you the same." So we said that's fine, we'll wait for them. She walks over and then quietly ask someone to call a manager. We get a manager and the store manager(both a joke and horrible with customer service) and explain the item we were returning was from our business account, and that we temporarily closed and were returning the item to by food and goods we would be needing through this pandemic instead of the electronic device at this time. The "store manger" said unfortunately there is only one way to contact Sam's.com and that was the number we provided you, take it up with them. But we actually found a online chat that Sam's has. So pretty much we were lied too, by said employee, and two managers. Absolutely horrific experience, and online who was told we were on hold an hour and seventeen minutes got attitude from Sam's club employee and put me on an additional 1:30 hours before I finally hung up the phone. read more

Let's face it folks; Sams isn't what it used to be. I mean Walmart sells the same stuff at the same price so why not purchase a $100.00 membership right??? Well the books are cheaper at Sams than Barnes and Noble and Amazon but they don't carry many books. The meat department is great and cheaper than the grocery, with a lot of choices but please check the date on the salmon!!! Had to return twice now in only 2 months. Clorox wipes are cheaper than the grocery store but all in all Sams has changed a lot over the years. In fact they just changed around the "fresh" department but I hate it! The isles are too tall and solid so you run into people going around a corner. I like the feel of Sams over Costco , just saying I hope this helps! read more

Beware, they can pick and choose who shows their membership card to get in. Yt lady at the door made us show our card twice when my mom went to get a cart. I was waiting right there for her inside door and she said I had to show my card again. THEN that same lady let's a Yt couple in without seeing their membership card saying, "I've seen you guys shop here before, it's ok." Check your staff Sam's Club. I like this Sam's Club. Parking is decent. This location is next door to a Wal-Mart. I like the rotisserie chicken. When I returned something that was defective, they were friendly and helpful. Even refunded my upgraded membership, because I didn't appear to earn any points with all the purchases I made in the past few months. They also have self check out, so if I don't feel like interacting with a cashier, then I use the self-check out line. They also have special shopping hours if you have a special membership or a business. It's never as crazy crowded as Costco. read more

Honestly regret getting a membership here. Staff followed us around like we were stealing. We were racially profiled from the moment we walked in the door. We purchased 400 worth of groceries. The woman at the door proceeded to check every item. When the normal process is to scan receipt and a few items. She held the line up to proceed to unbox our items for her to do a manual count. Once you go Costco you will always prefer Costco BUT Sam's Club had a nice promotion going where I paid the $45 membership fee but on my first shopping trip I got $45 off so basically it was free! There is nothing special about Sam's Club I mean it really feels like a knock off of Costco and the Walmart principles (cutting every corner they can) is definitely visible. However, to be fair, I am able to get the bulk items that I want and more importantly (at least now) it is way less crowded than Costco. The Costco down the road is an absolute circus so it's nice to shop at a slower pace with less people and they have a fuel center and food court plus if you need to make a Walmart run it is literally next door which is very convenient and that is why I give three stars. read more
