Sampson transmission is a family owned shop you can trust. Roger is a great owner and is not out to sell you parts or do work you don't need. He is upfront and honest about what needs to be done. I took my vehicle in and I though my steering pump was going because it was squealing. This would have been an expensive fix and I was willing to pay for the work that needed to be done. I gave Roger my vehicle and waited for an update. He phoned me back the next day and told me the problem. He said it was a leaky rad hose that was dripping onto my belt causing the squeal. He changed the belt and the hose and saved me hundreds of dollars. My point is he knew I was willing to spend the money and could have easily put in the new pump and all that goes with it. I have nothing but great things to say about Sampson Transmission. After 15 hours of struggling to find somewhere open and receive a diagnosis, I was directed to Sampson Transmission. When I got there Sam helped me out right away with a diagnostic scan and some research into the error codes displayed. They were then able to squeeze me in that day and run further diagnostics. During and after diagnostics, Mathew was super informative about what they found and what was going on. The whole crew made sure I was able to make it the 10 hour drive back to the States without an issue and I couldnt be more grateful. Thank you guys so much! i had heard of Sampson just casually but my wife car broke down and it was the tranny, it made sense they are also close by , little did i know i was going to find not just a great transmission shop but a great all around repair shop , and they really care, their upfront on the mayor problems and the smaller ones that you should be aware of down the road. they know that almost no one plans for repairs so they offer a easy payment plan. all these things and more make them the best .. a honest mechanic is almost as rare as unicorn ... here your unicorn .. your welcome read more

I was in distress because there was a terrible noise coming from my front driver's wheel and I had to go to work.I called them and they said they were fully booked but would have a quick look. It tiurned out to be a rusted and partially detached dust shield on the brake caliper. It was removed and will be replaced at a later date.All my stress was instantly gone and I was able to proceed to work with no worries.The staff was excellent,professional,courteous ,honest and very efficient. Would like to thank Roger the staff at Sampson Transmission. The transmission went on my 4 yr old Rogue while I was driving home from work. I couldn't believe it because the vehicle still feels so new to me.
